The Walking Dead: New Haunts (2022)
what. an. episode. (pt.2)
The Walking Dead is really back at the game.
This episode has everything that you can expect from an introduction episode. We are introduced to the Commonwealth in a very peculiar way, with a time jump of a month (probably).
"New Haunts" focus in a lot of different sights; we don't get it at first, but as the episode runs, we get to know how the most important people of our group feel about this new place, and what is everyone's job on this community.
Additionally, I sincerely think The Walking Dead needs to focus more on Judith. Her sight of things is tremendously interesting, because she doesn't have any idea of what this world is, of what a community like this is. She makes a new friend in this episode, and is really wonderful to watch how she reacts to things and how she communicates with other people.
I need to also talk about Carol's role in this episode... It looks like she's finally getting another interesting arc, as she is progressively discovering the rotten core of this community and their leaders.
Talking about the rotten core, Connie is given the opportunity to be a journalist, and we get to learn that she already knew Pamela Milton and her family, and that she also kicked Pamela's uncle out of the White House.
Oh Pamela... What an incredible performance of her actress... Pamela is definitely an intriguing character, so is her son, Sebastian Milton, the biggest ahole in the world. I'm really looking forward to this family and how they are going to be developed.
Summing up, i think this episode was truly amazing; it was a perfect and different introduction of this perfect (is it?) and different community. Really looking forward to the rest of Part 2. I feel good to admit that (maybe) The Walking Dead can end its journey with one of the best seasons in its franchise.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond: The Last Light (2021)
Wow.
It was a 9 episode until the end, but that end was a 10/10. So the French actually received those Dr. Jenner videos, I suppose that was after their fall. So we have a new species of walker? A new variant of the virus? Pretty good, pretty interesting, the best end for a show that could be a lot better, but was not that bad, after all. And I actually wanted a season 3! Also, don't forget to change the main rating of the show, it really has improved in the last 5 episodes.
The Walking Dead: For Blood (2021)
A great "mid-season"
Great episode! It's so tense and well written! Big cliffhangers at the end in both sides, alexandria and Meridian. Episode 9 has the obligation to be the best of the season. It is all well constructed, now you just need to let it roll! I won't give this a 10 because I would prefer if they finished it all on episode 8.
Final rating: 8.7/10.
The Walking Dead: Promises Broken (2021)
This season is so good.
I really liked this episode. It's a calm episode with a lot of dialogues. But NECESSARY dialogues. We have the construction of negan and Maggie possible friendship (I think Maggie is starting to understand negan somehow), we have the commonwealth part, which is really interesting right now (I really doubt that Stephanie is real but I guess I need to wait to know) and the reapers part is interesting right now too, at first I didn't like that arc, but I think it's getting good now.
Also, this episode is a must watch for the comic fans! We finally met Seb Milton and his girlfriend Kayla. The only thing I didn't like was the casting for Seb Milton. I don't know, I didn't get that anger I got while I was reading the comics...
Overall, this is a fine development episode and this first part finale looks so better than I ever expected. This season is being a good surprise.
Final rating: 9.0.
The Walking Dead: On the Inside (2021)
Oh my God.
I can't even describe how good this was. It was just perfect. The soundtrack and the sound effects are so good. The sound team really deserves a bow because they can put you in Connie's situation and you can actually feel her pain and fear. I don't know how to feel about this. Also, I cried so much at the end, man, so emotional.
Later in this episode we are introduced to some new stuff, some really interesting stuff that even in the end I couldn't figure out what they are.
The only low point on this episode is the reapers arc. I'm losing interest on them, they're generic.
Main arc- 220000272726/10
reapers arc- 8/10
This is horror, this is gore, and I love it so damn much. I loved this. What an episode, fellas.
Rating - 9.7/10.
The Walking Dead: Out of the Ashes (2021)
Best episode of the season so far.
Wow guys, this was incredible. This was a roller-coaster of emotions! It makes you cry and happy at the same time. I'm amazed by how incredible this episode was. Commonwealth introduction was crazy and the whisperers comeback too. We also learned that Connie is alive and the trailer of the next episode left me even more excited. This season have been great and I'm so glad they're doing this right. Loved it. Also, Ross acting is incredibly good in this episode. 9.6/10.
The Walking Dead: Rendition (2021)
Controversial, but I liked it.
I think this episode was pretty good. The soundtrack was so good, and the cinematography too. Also, Pope is an amazing villain and the actor did amazing job portraying it.
Even though I liked it, the episode has two problems : is focused in only one core and the beginning is a little messy. It looks like the writers still don't understand that the episodes with only one core never go right. Well, at least this villains introduction was good and I'm excited to the next episode.
Final rating: 8.4 - a good episode, but the weakest one, so far.
La casa de papel: Tu sitio en el cielo (2021)
The best of this half.
Of course the action scenes are horrible, but I didn't expect any better from Netflix. I really liked the script of this one. The music of the final is also fine, loved "who will you become". Direction of the episode is nothing special.
La casa de papel: Vivir muchas vidas (2021)
Where's the quality?
< My first half rating >
Just finished this first half of the season, but where is the quality? Where is the good script? Where is the characters development?
I'll resume this first half of money heist last season: boring, predictable and slow. Literally, in five episodes, the story barely advanced. I already know this episode will be overrated because it had a death scene, but, personally, I felt nothing! The lack of character development leads to this! After 5 seasons, I felt nothing for Tokyo's death!
Good points of this first half of the season:
- Cinematography is better than the previous seasons.
- Soundtrack is ok.
- Acting is good.
Bad points of this season:
- The story barely advances.
- 5 episodes, same feeling,, there are no different types of climaxes.
- Important character death just to make this season more surprising, and failed on it lol.
-Messy script.
- Too much drama. Just to loose time, the writers decide to make characters shot guns every 5 minutes, which leads to the question: infinite emo?
I give a 6/10 to this episode and to the first half of the season.
La casa de papel: El espectáculo de la vida (2021)
Nothing happens... Part 3
Apart from the good acting and a good fluidity between the two episode cores, this title is so boring. You have about 50 minutes to do anything, and you don't. If you're gonna do a final season, please do it right. I really hope It gets better. The pace of this season is bad and strange. And all this with only 3 episodes. I'm really afraid of what they're going to do with this season. Just don't mess it up like season 4.
La casa de papel: El final del camino (2021)
Regular
Nothing special. One more time the lack of character development attacks. It looks obvious where this season is going and it doesn't look bad. If they do things right, this season can be good.
La casa de papel: ¿Crees en la reencarnación? (2021)
Could be better but... It's ok.
It's a little difficult to care about the characters when the show doesn't provide you a good developing base. The characters are so simple and futile! And that's the main problem of the season so far: things happen and you feel nothing. But, this season is technically one of the best. The photography direction is good and I'm kinda excited to see what they do in the rest of the season. The soundtrack is more generic than ever. And obviously the gunfight is a little bad done, but I'm used to it.
The Walking Dead: Hunted (2021)
Wow! That's all I have to say!
This is technically one of the best episodes of The Walking Dead. The cinematography is top tier, the soundtrack is in another level of quality. This episode creates a level of tension, sadness and relief at the same time. It has a lot of climaxes and is extremely well written.
I only have one issue with this episode, the initial fight, it was too short! But it waswas very interesting and cool.
I'm proud to say that The Walking Dead is back to the quality he reached in season 4 and 5. Congratulations, The Walking Dead. This episode was a pleasure to watch.
The Walking Dead: Acheron: Part II (2021)
Still in shock
Wow! What an episode! Again! These two episodes were incredible and so exciting! I cannot wait for more! This season looks so good so far!
The Walking Dead: Acheron: Part I (2021)
Such a surprise... but this time, a good one!
WOW! This episode brings back memories of the fisrt twd season. They brought back the horror and I'm with my arms wide open for it! It also has some kind of comedy, and it fits perfect in the commonwealth storyline! I'm not the biggest fan of cliffhangers but the one in this episode was well constructed and left me excited for episode 2. A solid 10/1p. Elite The Walking Dead is back yall!
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: One World, One People (2021)
Rushed and Predictable
Could've been better! But good finale, excited for what comes next.
The Walking Dead: Here's Negan (2021)
The Walking Dead deserves a bow
I could describe this episode with just two words: pure perfection.
Oh my God guys, what an episode. I've been waiting for Negan's back story for some time now, and finally we have this episode, which is nothing but a masterpiece.
The writing was perfect, I loved the way they interlayered the past and the present scenes.
The filming of this episode was phenomenal, with some incredible shots to make your heart blow.
And the acting is not from this world, Jeffrey and Hillary aren't from earth, the acting was perfect, and the chemistry between them was awesome.
I cannot do a review of this episode without talking about the soundtrack, OH MY GOD!
Summing up, I have no mistakes to report, this episode was just phenomenal.
The Walking Dead: Diverged (2021)
What was this?
Like Negan said in 7x1: "That? That is a nono".
The only reason why I give 6 instead of 5, is because of the final music, which is amazing. I'm so disappointed with the walking dead...
The Walking Dead: Splinter (2021)
5.3? Are you guys crazy like princess?
This episode was so good! We had action, we had very good acting, we had an extraordinary script, this episode was nothing but great! Paola Lázaro's acting is just outstanding, her monologues were so good! And the end left me speachless, literally. Best episode so far of season 10C!
The Walking Dead: One More (2021)
Unexpected end!
The episode started slowly, not much talk, with pretty good filming shots, so far, normal episode. After that, we had Gabriel and Aaron's talks, they getting drunk, eating boar, more normal scenes. But when Mays showed up, the episode started getting more and more interesting, with Russian roulette game, with Mays revelations about his brother, and the episode turned out really good! I also loved the scene where Gabriel kills Mays, it show us that Gabriel is really losing his faith on the world! But the best thing in this episode was the scene with Mays brother, I wasn't really expecting that, it was a big surprise! Also, Ross, Seth and Robert Patrick's acting was outstanding, what a great cast! Liked this episode a lot!
