The Drop (2022)
Average women
I liked this movie because I saw an the average women naked. Which is nice to see. I can see swimsuit models naked any time.
I thought the movie was very funny. It showed the funny side of awkward human beings. It had a diverse cast but not pushing it down my throat. It certainly showed the awkward imperfect side of human beings. It's nice to see men in movies dating swimsuit models. The women in this movie were beautiful in their averagness (?). Women comedians can be really funny without being pc. It showed with a women punching another women. And at the very end. Only 17 characters left (letters)
Take Shelter (2011)
Schizoaffective
I have been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. I liked this movie a lot. I don't know what's real or what's not and just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean poeople aren't after me. Which is kinda like this movie. If you watch it close. I also been in an assisted living like the mother in movie. She is living in a really nice one. These usually cost up to 3,000 a month at least. The twist is nice and if you have a diagnosis or have a family member it's a good movie. Or just want to learn it's a good metaphor or whatever you want to call it. Comparison or example of an illness . Also getting a doctor is a nice example.

I can relate
I've been to a lot of 12 step groups, and I can relate to cult like atmosphere and over eager' meeting makers'. Of course movie goes over the top (no torture in AA not physical anyway). The pillars of the apartment go hand and hand with the steps and slogans of AA, Alanon. I could also make comparisons to Army etc. The founder of AA Bill Wilson was compared a little bit to the founder of this movies cult. I think the writer of this movie may have had experience in 12 groups. I was in AA I was constantly told I was selfish and I needed to accept by theses to old guys in AA who sat in the back of my meetings.
Auto Focus (2002)
Addictive behavior
If sex addiction is real...or not...this movie showed the destructive behavior "out of the shadows" Dr Carnes. According to DSM sex addiction is not a mental problem. But I believe a spiritual and moral problem which this movie portrayed in a realistic light.
