The West Wing: Holy Night (2002)
Will Bailey is no mouse
Will Bailey has been raised amongst major European and Asian dignitaries his whole life, and his father was Supreme Commander of the NATO forces. To think he would cower in the face of the President is absurd. This is poor character development, unusual for WW. The remainder of the episode is great - Toby's dad, the set-up to Shareef outing, the build up to Zoey, and more. I love that we see Toby and his dad start to bond - thanks to Josh, and it's an incredible backstory. The music was great - WEst Wing always had great holiday episodes. Josh's affection for Donna is sweet - finally! It's a great episode, not a favorite, but still great.

When you root for the characters
With each episode my husband and I feel like we're bonding with the characters. In the most recent S3. E6. I found myself actually rooting for them. I marveled at the writing and the acting. It's blissfully sweet and charming, with a hilarity that catches you off guard. It's awesome to see a group of primarily male writers capture the sensitivity they evoke in the episodes. It really is quite endearing. I'm hoping for a happy ending and hope I'm not heartbroken at the progress each character has made. I can't risk any spoilers, just know that this show is so good for your soul. If you're hesitating, just 'F&$k it' and get on with it.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021)
The kid is annoying
In every episode they tell the kid to stay safe, stay behind, etc. And in every episode she does what she wants and risks everyone's lives. Then she whines about how sorry she is. Everyone in my family would groan. We stopped watching because it was so formulaic and irritating. Not caliber Star Wars effort.

Low reviews are ridiculous
This show is great. The girls are normal pre-teens who are well-behaved and curious. The person who said that because Disney mentions periods, they are sexualizing a kids show - WOW - just wow. Your kid is going to grow up really sheltered and shocked at normal life. Good luck. I prefer to sit with my kids and watch a show that inspires them to be a good president and answer their questions about life. Kudos to Disney!
