Messiah (2020)
The second coming is happening now. On Netflix.
Actually it is not absolutely obvious that the Messiah in the Messiah show on Netflix is actually the Messiah. It is early to say. He may be just another fraud. However that might be, it is absolutely beyond doubt that Messiah is a wonderful show. I woke up n the first of January dazed and confused. Some of you may know the feeling. I turned Netflix on (which is something I don't do very often since I generally watching TV shows a waste of precious time) and one of the first things I saw was Messiah. The title naturally got my attention since I have a religious fundamentalist background and, well, even though I travelled some distance away from my background, it is still there. And damn was I in for a ride! For an ex-seventh day adventist like myself the show definitely touched a sensitive chord, since I spent my childhood waiting for the second coming to happen. But even those who never had a messianic background will be touched by the show, because Messiah is not the invention of some obscure religious fundamentalists half-wits, but it is an archetype, and as an archetype it is bound to touch deeply any human being. So I watched the first 5 episodes on the first of January and the last 5 the next day. I never binged like this on any other show before. I must be one of the first persons on the world to have finished watching Messiah. And now I can't believe I have to wait a fully year for Messiah to return.
Touch Me Not (2018)
Bad movie
One of the things one of the main characters says during the movie is that good and evil are two categories invented by Christianity in the Middle Ages and that there is no good and evil. Well let me just say, this is very bad movie, and yes, unfortunately for the makers of this film, there is such a thing as a good movie. It s just how things are.
