Superman & Lois: Too Close to Home (2023)
One thing reviewers missed..
I enjoy this show a lot. Unlike other reviewers I don't usually comment on shows I watch but I do read the reviews and I take them with a grain of salt, you get your good reviews and the complaints that the show is too this or not enough of that. I think this show balances the superhero with family life very well.
I usually don't nitpick about things that aren't believable per say because it's tv. It's fiction.. but in this case I just had to say something cuz I find it pretty inconsistent even for fiction. What was the point of Jordan's grampa giving him goggles? Wouldn't his eyes abilities burn right through them? Just saying...
The Devil's Hour (2022)
A waste of 6hours of my life
I began watching this because of the great reviews. I have no idea what others watched but it can't be this. This show, the lack of plot and the worst ending ever. I've never watched a show before that was so slow, I guess I thought it would come together in the end, but I was terribly wrong. The only decent thing was the acting of the little boy. Never again will I trust reviews of a new show. I can only guess they were fake to get people to watch it to the end, but trust me... DON'T.. just no...I'm going to just yammer like the show did to get enough words in here so it will post. Blah...blah blah.
Outlander: Echoes (2022)
Nice setup for the season
After binging the first five seasons. I found this episode to be great. Leaves it open for foes of the past and of new. It was great to see them continue right where they left off in season five. The final scene with Claire leaves me feeling Claire isn't quite as over the trauma of last season as she'd like people to believe. Can't wait to see where it is going to take us.
Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
I can't believe the low ratings for this episode
I don't normally write reviews, but I had to for this after seeing the poor reviews for the final episode. Like many, I felt the show didn't pick up well till the later episodes, but the final one, this one was perfect. Having just rebinged the whole show I feel the ending must not have been well understood by some. The whole point is Dexter new he had to die in order for Harrison to live a normal life. What parent wouldn't want that for their child? It shows how our loveable serial killer truly does have feelings, and was OK with dying for them!
