Legacies (2018)
It's bubblegum-ish but fun to watch
Season 4 is coming out at a snails pace. They show an episode and then 6 weeks till the next. Super annoying. Not as good as originals, but still fun. They explore the darker side of the characters (which is good) but then go farther than dark and that's strange.
Wicked (2021)
I weanted to like it
Story: I still have 10 minutes to go with this movie and I have no idea what the plot is.
Acting: A couple of really hot people. The interactions are sophomoric, and the emotional transitions are silly. You want to give them a pass for hotness. Maybe if the first scene they both became mute. --- great still not plot. Is there going to be two more of this train to nowhere?
The Curse of Oak Island (2014)
The only series that continues to get better every year
Yes the repetitive narration is the only reason I dropped the score to 9. I would much rather have fewer episodes that are more succinct. The one more person needs to die routine is morbid and silly. Now onto the meat of the show.
The approach by these men is something to study and admire. They have refined their efforts over the years and have discovered much more about the activity here than I thought they would. They have always expanded the knowledge base and narrowed the target every year and I believe that they will discover something. Not only that, but they will definitely have a clear understanding of what happened. Maybe not why.
Death to 2020 (2020)
Landmark year in our history and this misses the mark from any angle
The battle's are still raging in a year that was full of them. We are far too polarized to have a clue how this fit's in the big picture. The biggest issue with a year in review in 2020 is which reality do you want to review? Pop culture or the censored? I'm not sure the truth of 2020 will EVER come out. We may have to wait for China to tell us what really happened.
Chick Fight (2020)
Kill me now
I'm watching this film because the actress' are good actors. The writing however is painful. In the first two scenes, we've already covered four woke topics. Do they not understand that pandering to the 1% doesn't make for a good story. It becomes the story and in 2020, we've seen it a thousands times this year.
I know this manure isn't going to make money so when are these turds going to bankrupt these idiots so we can get input from new idiots?
Trump Card (2020)
You can disagree, but you can't do it with facts
Trump card is an accurate layout of American politics in 2020. Pop culture and media have been bought off and there are no one to push back on the insane ideas that are being pushed by the democrats today.
Most democrats don't even understand what is going on. They think that the party today is still the JFK democrat party. The republican party has always been in support of American ideals and haven't departed from the notions that you are responsible for yourself and can do anything. The government won't hold you back.
The democrats are still trying to convince people that free is an opinion and it should be easier. The fact is it is easy, as long as you are able. If you are not able, we still have that safety net. If you build a safety net for the whole society, who will want to do anything?
Saturday Night Live (1975)
Safe boring comedy
This show has always been counter culture and edgy. Contrast with the last decade. This show is pulling the weight of the political and popular elite. There isn't a single time in the last decade that I can remembering laughing at the safe uncontroversial political crap.
I'm sure George Soros and anyone that hate America, find it hilarious. It's just sad. They should have buried this show with Chris Farley. Chris was the last good thing that came out of this show.
The 2nd (2020)
Can Hollyweird make anything decent besides the trailer
This is another political movie by people that don't understand our country. Eventually they will run out of money and quit these idealog virtue craps. They did't put money into the production of this crapfest. The first guy was shot before the gun was fired and honestly I didn't have much patients to watch the rest.
Valley Girl (2020)
It was almost good.
I don't mind the musical format change. It doesn't bother me that the script was altered in key spots. The main area where this movie falls short is where the original movie succeeded. The music was skewed to the pop and completely ignored the punk music. There was a distinct line in the original of two sets of behaviors and music and this movie had both sides focus on the pop. Besides some wardrobe changes both sets of people acted the same.
The biggest fail here was a misunderstanding what a valley girl was and how she behaved. They threw some one liners in the movie, but completely MISSED the essence of the valley girl. These valley girls and boys acted like regular kids and threw in some period phrases and that is not even close.
I like some of the story changes and if they got the point of the original movie and did some research on valley speak and act, it would have been good.
Holmes and Holmes (2016)
I enjoy the mundane
Mike Holmes appeal is insight and technically superior processing and breakdown of problem solving skills. That doesn't necessarily translate to docudrama appeal, but for those people that are fascinated with the skills required to discover issues and then solve them; this is butter.
I wish they'd stop trying to make this work with every audience, it won't. No body wants to watch family drama of mentally stable people.
Trauma Center (2019)
A movie in Puerto Rico with no Puerto Ricans
Nicky does a good job trying to hold this crap together. The acting is horrendous the directing is bad the script is lacking and the scene continuity and flow is so bad it's comical. I gave 3 stars for Nicky only.
A Rainy Day in New York (2019)
Everyone plays woody
Have you noticed in all Woody Allen movies; the actors all sound and act just like Woody Allen. He makes them sound nasally and talks with a slight stutter. The story is good and it's well acted, but I've noticed all the recent movies of his have this quality.
Noelle (2019)
Blah Humbug - Hollyweird gives us another woke Christmas
I get it white man bad, incompetent. Girl good. Can we produce a movie that isn't this woke. Even in the thriller mystery genres, I know who the bad guy is. It's the white male best friend. EVERY TIME. .
So with that in mind. Your kids will probably enjoy this movie and have the narrative enforced that men are bad and incompetent and women are superior.
If we are in a patriarchy, the men are doing it very badly. lol
Why We Hate (2019)
Tribalism the root of evil
The act of prejudging a person based on a attribute is the root of tribalism. It's the same tribalism that brought slavery 200+ years ago. Today it has many different targets, but don't think for a second it's not the same philosophy. We teach our kids not to do this and then proceed to do it in academia, media and any place progressives live.
Judge a person by the color of their skin not the content of character. That is what was sorely missed by this activist film.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013)
Great show. Story lines have not always been stellar from season to season
I enjoy all of the episodes, but some seasons are a little much. This last season, 6. They try to make the main character (Chloe Bennet) blonde. It's kinda like taking a ginger and making them brunette. It doesn't work. Chloe is the perfect example of brunette beauty. If you want to bring a blonde into the mix do that, but leave chloe's hair alone.
Hot Air (2018)
It's a cartoon characterization of conservatives. Thre way only a liberal can do it.
It's not believable and you would need to have Dennis Miller or a person who isn't completely lost when it comes to conservative values to play the part.
The same way Alec Baldwin does a poor Trump. That's my feeling for the lead character and all these conservative characters. Really it's impossible to find these actors in Hollywood bc all the ones that don't carry the flag of hate for the other party are banned.
The themes are stereotypical to the lefts narrative and not nearly realistic. The progressive morons will love it though.
Runaways (2017)
Under Par By Far
The plot lines are thick and predictable. The iGen liberal themes are so clear and sad. Haven't researched the authorship, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was written by a Fembot (Feminist). I'm surprised that the ratings aren't lower. Compared to Agents Of Shield......, you can't. this isn't in the same universe.
