The movie is very great. In fact it has 9.2 in Google. But here it has 6.2 and I imagine is because it only has 1 critic review and that critic is full of envy, but IMDB pay too much attention to one critic over the rest. Well. It Is time to stop paying attention to ratings.

Very entertaining! Funny and likeable. But its a trip of pure acid. If you like the effect of drugs watch it.

I am a big fan of narcoseries but they have to be done right. This looks like a terrible telenovela desparately wanting to be part of narcoseries fans. Its boring, its amateur, terrible acting, no surprises, terrible photography and very cliché plot (this Is perhaps the most horrible thing because they put onscreen what we all already know about cartels "no investigation at all" so, no surprises which leads me to terrible screenplay). I recommend Netflix to take this out before Narcos Mexico Season 2 if they want to expand fans of narcoseries. If people watch this garbage they will beleive that Narcos Mexico is the same thing.

Me, as a huge, huge, huge fan (because its my favorite serial of all time and I have something very deep with this from my childhood). Right now I am a filmmaker and a screenwriter for almost 20 years and I have to say this. The problem with this new version its the complete lack of understanding of MELODRAMA. Yes, the way Knights of the Zodiac works is MELODRAMA. It is a like a MEXICAN TELENOVELA (if you hire a mexican producer of Televisa of the 90´s. This would be a masterpiece). Yes I know the story you are making its the same as it was in the 90´s but without all the elements of MELODRAMA that generates emotions in people (where are those super extreme close-ups? the elements of secrecy? the elements of anticipation? surprise? building tension moment by moment with revelations? They dont have to be even credible (because it is not realism or naturalism, it is a MELODRAMA). In every single chapter characters cry (until they dont have any more water in their body), they fight for friendship for the ones they love even if they have to spill the last drop of blood in their body and they dont care to die and suffer so much pain (that why its extremely bloody "but it has a reason that works" Knights of the Zodiac are MESIANIC HEROES "they die to save the other like Jesus Christ"). There is no series that have made me cry more than Knights of the Zodiac. Mix MELODRAMA (which is the exaggeration of reality in order to produce emotions) with a deep understanding of friendship (to die for them "EXAGERATION, EXAGERATION, EXAGERATION!!!"). In Knights of the Zodiac fights are very short (they are just a climax), they take a lot of time building anticipation. Knights of the Zodiac are extremely sad, and characters (that you love) they die and you cry for them!!!!!. But at the same time they give you hope and they make you want to be the best friend in the world. I am sorry, but without the elements of Melodrama, the serial wont work. Another comment, the music is horrible, it doesnt generate anything (but I am not going to talk about it because I am not an expert), but Knights of the Zodiac had an amazingly excellent soundtrack. Well, lets see what happens in the next episodes.

Call this a MASTERPICE is going to be so simple through time without thinking about it.Some scenes of this movie will pass through history of cinema as the most iconic of our era (There Is no question about it). We are going to be talking about them for many years. This movie starts with simple slices of life (you laugh in a scene, then another one you get happy, then another one a little bit sad "just like life"). This makes you think that the movie doesnt have a plot with a structure, but in reality what Cuarón is doing is making you to generate a huge empathy with each character and when the time comes; when the movie gets to its climax....... Ohhhh my goooooood! I can tell you, perhaps in the last five or more years you havent seen something soooo powerul, so moving. Just play the game of the filmmaker, forget about pacing, just sit and let everything happen and you will have your return of investment, you will be rewarded with the BEST MOVIE of the year!

In our lives we are said to say that drugdealers are bad people. Thats what you have in your head all the time. How does Diego Luna does it? Because in the show, you get empathy for him. Of course you get also "empathy for the good guys" and you end up hating "the system". You end up hating the mexican government (for its corruption and ambition) but also the american government (for its steadyness in order to preserve a status quo and lack of support for a tragedy that could be avoided). It leaves you with a desire to make things better. Lets not forget that this is not only based on a true story, it is now "Part of the history itself" and will be studied in the years to come. And guess what? It hasn´t been finished. Netflix has managed to create such an intriguing, funny, sad at times, even educational series to leave a message to all of us, and in this fourth season is just setting things up to tell us why things are like this "TODAY". What an amazing fourth season and they havent even get into "Drug War". Cant wait for the next one. You cannot dismiss this one!
