Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Subspace Rhapsody (2023)
Why not ? It was perfect
I've always said that one of the best human inventions was music.
It binds us together, it allows us to share emotions, to laugh, to cry, to be happy and sad at the same time.
Star Trek is all that. An utopia where all humanity is together in going where no one has gone before.
This episode was just that. All the emotions that normally we don't share with others, music allowed them to not be afraid.
I'm not a huge fan of musicals, but this was a Star Trek story in a awesome musical . And I loved it.
The writers that thought of this must be payed triple.
The songs were just great.
Loved that each of the crew had a song and I loved each , but specially La'an's, Nyota's and Christine's .
I'm sad for Spok.
I never saw Klingons singing. :)
Great episode.
The Deepest Breath (2023)
A wonderful story of achievement, life, love, friendship and selflessness.
Like one reviewer already posted, if you liked Free Solo, you will love this.
A wonderful story of achievement, life, love, friendship and selflessness that also includes the sport of free diving.
We are taken in personal story(ies) about free diving, the dangers and the rewards of such an extreme sport.
What it takes to beat and set world records.
The love for the sport it clearly shows, as the love for the the sea and adventure.
At certain point you can guess where it leads, but you are not going to discover how until the very end.
I couldn't look away. I was hooked. At certain point, I was feeling empathy and my heart was beating slowly, like I was holding my breath.
I love this kind of documentaries. The personal stories, the home videos, the intimacy we start to feel.
In my opinion, it is well written and directed. All the things appear are at the precise time.
What it means to be selfless and a hero.
What a wonderful story ! Thank you.
Abominable (2019)
Heart touching
What a wonderful story. Full of wander and magic. A whimsical movie for everyone. A tale of friendship and family. You will laugh and cry. And wanting to go to the Everest.
UFO (2018)
A breath of fresh air in movies about UFOs
I really did enjoy this movie. Since the first minutes of the movie it got me hooked.
It's not CGI nor anything like most of the movies out there about this topic.
It's a lot like "The Martian", because it's a wonderful "Geeky" approach to the topic. Math and physics are all over the place and I did enjoy it because of that.
It's a "real" approach - or what could pose has real if we had to to do this kind of thing (not saying that probably someone already is trying - I'm a believer) - to this "problem" .
If you like this kind of stuff, documentaries about the universe, physics, you'll enjoy the movie !
