I couldn't stop watching this movie especially since it brought back memories of 1968 for me. A 12 year old girl was abducted in 1974 by a trusted family friend. She was drugged, brain-washed sexually abused and manipulated for many years. The parents allowed it to happen to a certain extent which was the most sickening part. Sadly, I can understand how it happened as during that time, sexual abuse was not uncommon and most child victims were not defended.

Heart Warming Story About Ordinary People

A little girl is found in a park by a woman from a small circus in Italy. She and her family and friends try to take care of the child as best they can waiting for her mother to come for her. What I like most about this movie is how this group of people find a way to give her not only food and clothing but the love she needs. The end wasn't a surprise but leaves the audience guessing about what happened next. I very much enjoy foreign movies and am adding this one to my list.
