Was looking forward to this as felt I needed a firefighter drama fix whilst I waited for the new series of 911 to start. Started off ok but I soon realised after about episode 6 that apart from the main character I didn't know a single of the other characters names ! I tried to stick with it but found myself drifting away , and a few more episodes later , I still couldn't remember any more characters names ! Also the action just was not that exciting and lacked suspense and together with bland characters it just made the show quite dull and boring. A shame as I think with better writers it could have been a good show.

Im 5 episodes in and I still couldn't tell you a single characters name !! Only sticking with it as I've been a fan since the first season but this one is so different. Really boring and not at all scary in the slightest. Season 10 was bad , but this is so much worse. Not enough returning characters so doesn't feel like a AHS series anymore. Also I don't understand the title NYC, yes that's where it is set , but if it had a different title you wouldn't even know it was New York. As I say I will stick with it in hopes it will get scary and maybe more past actors/ characters may make an appearance.

I actually had higher hopes for this. How many times can the shark jump up and everyone falls in the water ? The CGI was sometimes ok but sometimes terrible! When the shark attacks the sea plane they forgot to give it eyes !! I had to rewind twice and pause and yep , they forgot to give it eyes !! And how is it the shark can attack and sink a plane , but leaves the raft alone until an hour later into the film ! I got bored quite quickly and almost didn't watch the end ! Oh yeah and the sharks can roar ! Enough said.

This was slow and boring and hard to watch ! No character development and most scenes are in the dark underwater so it was hard to tell who was who ! The creatures only make an appearance an hour into the film and only kill one person , and all you saw was them being dragged under water ! All the other deaths are just water related ?? Aliens that live under water that you barely see and we just get to listen to Kristen Stewart heavy breathing in the dark ! Then it just ends ! Literally watch anything else

I fell asleep during episode 2 ! Really disappointed as I had high hopes for this after the brilliant Hill House ! The child actors have awful accents which are very off putting. The worst bit is that it's just not at all scary !!

This was one of the best shows on tv and was so under-rated !!! Great plot , great characters , mysterious , violent and sexy ! It was so addictive , every episode had you on the edge of your seat ! I get why it ended after 4 series as it did complete the plot but it's such a shame it ended !!

I liked the idea of the story - pranksters get pranked as revenge for their antics but it just turned into another unrealistic slasher. Gregg Sulkin is the worst actor in the movie ....considering he is the main protagonist !!! Garrett Clayton was not much better and the acting is very forced and wooden. Not particularly scary or gory , or maybe it was but the bad acting just over shadowed it. In all , not a terrible movie, but forgettable.

I wanted this to be good but I ended up very disappointed. This movie had so much potential but they then ruined it by making it another movie where you don't get any answers as to why this is happening , but to be honest the characters were so bland that you really didn't care. Dylan Minette is a rising star at the moment and its a shame that he lowered himself to this movie.
