Silo (2023)
Starts good and interesting
Then the plot gets really boring. There are several things that can't be explained by logic.
How is it possible that for 140 years later since 10.000 people are down there, we don't see any broken lights?
How is it possible that 140 years later and with a population of 10.000 people, they still have one use injectable seringes?
How is it possible that 140 later and a population of 10.000 people there still have one of a kind use latex gloves?
Do they fabric their own clothes? I saw no broken clothes for someone who is stuck in a basement for 140 years.
The first two episodes doesn't really affect the plot and I'm on episode 9. Nothing else is mentioned about the conditions outside, what did they find... A lot of goofs for a such good start.
Black Mirror: Fifteen Million Merits (2011)
A must see episode!
I rates this episode as a 10. Just for the speech the main character gave. The passion, the eyes, the performance... Just amazing. Rarely seen.
I think that unfortunately, if we continue like this, the humanity is going on a very bad road. Many many people this days are thinking on their virtual life, on avatars. The first app they open in the morning are the social media apps, to see what happens, who did what, etc... Posting photos to feel more appreciated, to feel more important. We have **** influencers this days who can't do s**t but they have tens of thousands of followers who are watching adds in the end. Influencers who don't know to do much, who don't really have any contribution to the society! And I could keep on going... A must see episode!
Designated Survivor (2016)
Why you shouldn't watch the movie
The movie, between others, has characters that want to be professionals in their jobs. Like the FBI agents.
I've been watching and trying to move on, to ignore some faults that I saw.
Like the fact that only one person's knew the facts and didn't share with no one, which is stupid as being a huge conspiracy, if one dies, the conspiracy wins.
Like the deputy director of FBI which doesn't follow the rules of the agency. The agency which manages disappearing persons doesn't follow in line. Again, one is worried about his son, i l might relate to that...
But the thing that made me abandon the show was that two highly trained FBI agents don't even think to search a person when they are taking her in custody and see if they have a concealed weapon. It's stupid, that would never happen. And yes, one may think ok, maybe the agents forgot. Ok, yes, it may. But one agent was in front of the detainee and one behind. The detainee gets the weapon in the hand, takes a deep breath and after shoots. And in all that time the agent in front of the detainee didn't see nothing. And it turns around and still, that agent is without reaction. It is an insult to my intelligence!
So no, I don't recommend the movie. Better watch Bosch if you want to see a more real life inspired show about the police life and it's procedures.
Saturday Night Live: Natasha Lyonne/Japanese Breakfast (2022)
Kate McKinnon was amazing
I found the opening of Kate amazing. That was very funny. The wonder-where joke was something new I never heard before and it got me laughing for a while there. I think she is a good actress and this role was very good and funny.
Great opening of the final episode of the season. I hope in the future HBO will show the next season as well. It's a good show to watch and relax after a long day just trying to forget the day at the office and just laugh.
SNL is a unique show and you have to understand how difficult it must be to do every scene live. You can not have any mistakes.
Keep it up SNL and crew. Keep it up Kate McKinnon!
Bosch: Legacy (2022)
Hoping for the next season
It's a very good show. I liked the first one as well. But this season has unforgivable goofs. More then once in the car shots it, they want to do the impression that the car is moving, but the speedometer is at 0. I find this a pretty big mistake since it's not the first season or the directors first movie/series. Nevertheless, patiently waiting for the next season.
For now I give the show an 8, even though the original Bosch I gave a 10. Maybe if they take more care and don't have this very obvious goofs then I'll change the rating. But for now...
Spoiler alert, it's ending in a pretty big cliffhanger.
Suits: P.S.L. (2016)
The most important lesson
Something that we all should know, there's more in life then work! There's love, and family and hobbys and traveling, and enjoying the money. Money's no good if you don't enjoy it and work every day from sunrise till sunset!
Stranger Things: Chapter Four: Dear Billy (2022)
There are critical errors here
Even though they say that they worked a lot on this season four and have spent a lot of time filming and that's why it was split in two parts it has some unforgivable errors.
A special forces agent breaks a windows of a house with his elbow so he can shot his rifle?! WTF?! Who thought about that? That's so wrong.... Who believes that?! Omg...
There where other error as well in the other episodes but this error is illogical...
The Adam Project (2022)
The whole purpose of the movie is wrong
The fact that the movie is about a guy who wants to go back in time to stop time travel it's just stupid.
You can't go back in time to stop time travel of being invented because if wouldn't have been invented you couldn't have gone back in time in the first place.
It's a stupid idea that we see more often in the last years. In the older movies (back in the future, for example) they are doing everything possible not to change the past as it may cause unknown changes in the present.
I believe in one movie it was named "the butterfly theory" but I'm not sure.
We can say that movies are getting stupider.
I wouldn't recommend even though it has some funny catches.
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Launch year.
For the year it was launched it has amazing effects. This was launched a year before the mission when Armstrong lands on the moon, as the first man in the moon landed in 1969. Taking this in consideration the effects, the work out to achieve this affects is amazing.
As this being before the moon landing, as this being 9 years before the first star wars movie, I see it as the father of all sci-fi movies.
Just epic.
1917 (2019)
A unique movie to remember
This movie is amazing. The way it was filmed as one shot gives a unique feeling, it had me more captivated and to be honest since I was watching it several times I taught that I need to see the way it was filmed & behind the scenes shots.
Since the beginning of the movie you can realise that they put a lot of work in making it. All the trenches that where made, according to the director more then a mile of trenches in total. Just amazing work and money well spent.
The actors where great, especially for two young actors. They obviously had to learn a lots of lines as the shots where so large.
In the end, a great movie, great actors, the way it was filmed was amazing, definitely a must see !
