I am soooooo late to this masterpiece party
2 December 2023
I knooow I am so, SOO Very late to GOT party but as a lover of non fiction this got me unbelievably hooked. Some of you might be jealous that I was in 2023 GOT virgin... but to sum it up... It is NOT just a tv show. Its MASTERPIECE in all shapes and forms... Not just a tv masterpiece, its an art, a science, a deeper spiritual, elemental & numerological masterpiece. All wrapped in one beautiful story from the past with ribbon on it. Story full of loyalty, love, support & true core values where betrayal is punished and loyalty is rewarded. Story of a true core leaders, brave enough to fight for their people.

No need to mention that Aside of all of that above, the acting is superb, so is the story line, very well made.

Oh those good old days.
30 September 2023
The quote by Andy Bernard sums this show the best: " I wish there was a way to know you are in the good old days before you've actually left them." What a gift this show is. Watched it many times and this year I had the privilege to binge rewatch it again.

I wish I was born in that time, when women were feminine, men were masculine and they all were dressed nicely & men treated their women with respect and in a gentlemen like way. Where cigarettes or alcohol were not killing us and where the creativity was on rise and appraised.

It is the perfect blend of drama, dry dark humor & great performance.

People actually enjoyed their lives. Elisabeth Moss, Jon Hamm Christina Hendricks are incredible.

Need one more season
9 January 2023
Loved this show. They took sweet time to finish season 2 but Well it was worth it. I was counting down days since NYE to have it aired. Its nothing like usual teen shows.

The acting is great, storyline, setting. Its very diversified and lot of scenes are just so touching, from the fresh high school first love to adults relationships.

There is drama however the characters have sober point of view and I just admired that they stood their ground when it comes to dealing with past life choices and actions that have major consequences on their future.

Hope Netflix will not screw this up and the season 3 will be somewhat similar if not better.

What a fantastic show
25 November 2022
Duchovny did it again. He is amazing actor, so adaptable. Honestly, I planned to watch Aquarius for some time, but haven't done so for two reasons A: Californication is one of my fav shows & I was afraid Duchovny character will be just not the right fit. Man, I was wrong. B: I knew the show was cancelled so why bother to watch it, since I wont see the full story.

Anyways The show is really well written, the story, the characters, it got me captivated from start to end. Binge watched it in 3 days on sick leave.

My question is:

Why is it with all this gems shows, just like the OA or BCS that it gets cancelled and really poorly written shows with nothing to offer runs for so many seasons. Its really upsetting.

Never give up
21 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Very touching, really beautiful & inspiring movie of empowerment, to never loose hope, to never give up no matter how many people (even some family members) will tell you, you cannot do it, its time to give in.

I related to this movie so much as a women in 30's with my own business, I felt Joys struggles - financial, or people trying to play her just because they can on every level. But she always had her eyes on the prize, she got one goal to make the business successful, and this movie did it just right in every way.

Lawrence was excellent, it was very entertaining as well, setting too, loved the sales approach. Just great Friday night movie.

The East (2013)

yeah it got Brit's & Zal touch
20 October 2022
Zal Batmanglij is for me a master mind. Brit Marling is amazing actress, screen writer... Together these two.uff.. Brit, I absolutely Love her, I have been longing for uniqueness like the story of the OA has brought. I am not saying The East is the same, it's totally different storyline, but God, It did not disappoint me at all. Brit Marling is one absolutely brilliant actress. Even though this was way early of her career, years before the OA, she still kept her appearances, performance. I loved the story line. I feel like every movie or show Brit Marling & Zal Batmanglij produce is delivering very powerful message, or exploring topics that are rarely talked about & are very unique.

Bear in mind the East is almost 10 years old. The times has changed, or not or for better or worst who knows. Anyways, it's Beautiful story about fight for humanity. The East puts you in some scenes in very uncomfortable position. Despite that it shows the absolute human coherence and how damaged, selfish, greedy & ignorant the society is.

It really makes you wanna fight with them after all.

Call Dexter Morgan Dad for help
7 October 2022
Very well played. Extremely disturbing. As most of the recent netlix crime stories should be condensed to fewer episodes. I wish Jeff had Dexter step father guidance, its not only the mental aspect of a serial killer, its the very poor parenting or guidance from early age that made this dark passengers resurface.

I am Absolutely NOT taking his side, but objectively speaking, He cried for help, he tried to express his loneliness, he knew there is something extremely wrong within himself, with his sick urges, but nobody listened. I won't fix it here, however, The fact that there are or were people mentally disturbed like Jeff among our society that have or cannot find their place to fit in is very disturbing and should not be overlooked. He was failed by his people who brought him up, and by society too and let for killing splurge.

I feel it must be extremely difficult for the victims relatives to relived this story all over again for sole purpose of public entertainment... it should at least have some impact on us, as society as whole to pay closer attention & listen to one another. Nobody should be alone. Especially, after the horrible 2 years of pandemic where so many feel lonely & isolated.

Simply the Best
20 September 2022
Well well well, there is law dramas, comedy & crimes but nothing like this. Breaking Bad was indeed the best show ever aired, revolutionary but Saul is just an upgrade.

I have been so jealous because my partner never watched breaking bad so I made him to watch it and from there he continued to BCS, me of course rewatching it with him.

The season finale was not yet aired in UAE but I just got pleasure to see it for the first time. Early Christmas Gift I must say.

It's smart, it's witty, it's different, it's your favorite Breaking Bad Characters back on screen but refreshed.

I loved it despite I rewatched it not once but multiple times. What is amazing is You think You know the story but You only know how it ends. To go to heart of it we must go back where it all begins.

What we need is Gustavo Fring spinoff now.

Pleasantly Surprised
26 August 2022
Just finished 3rd episode and I am truly surprised how easy to watch it is. Very refreshing show, characters are really likable, story too. Something between Harvey & Mike from Suits relation & Rom-com. It got potential, its relatable. The main character has drive yet she is searching balance between career and private life, like most of us in our 30s.

10 stars for documentary, 5 for the political views
16 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Very touching, beautifully made documentary, she is Icon, hardworking, latina, single mother who achieved incredible hights in showbusiness and entertainment. I admire her loving, caring personality, trully inspiring.

But why including politics? Why pushing the strong political agenda through her personal documentary? Why choosing political side and categorize yourself, when politics & polices changes but documentary released stays...

Bring Part 3 back #savetheoa
24 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
16hours worth every single minute. This is truly the most amazing story I watched & rewatched on netflix. Cinematography is beautifully made,NDE is absolutely fascinating, in between dimensions traveling is giving us hope there is life after life after all & beyond.

Was it slow paced? Nope, just perfectly paced to digest & puzzle the whole story.

Brit Marling & Zal Batmanglij did absolutely brilliant job, their imagination is truly a workshop of gods.

Interesting but never ending story.
2 April 2021
I lost my patience on episode 9.... just soooooo soooo long. They packed 11 years plus of Cyntoia Brown's story in 1,5hour, Epstein in 4 episodes, this could be shorten to half. Otherwise good story...

I dont Understand the negatives about S2
6 April 2020
I usually read not write reviews. But the negatives about the season 2, are not understandable. Yes it's different setting as S1 (obviously, we moved from middle east to South America) you have different actors (indeed, its spanish not arabic) different script (its another policitcal situation) surprise surprise it's different. S2 was packed with thrill, action, and it kept us on the edge the entire time. John Krasinski did amazing job. So please, leave your negatives on S2 for yourself. Hope there will be season 3.
