This "movie" should have been 30 minutes long. Horrible parade of crybaby girls and law breaking boys. The boy was a jerk, and we're supposed to care about his dying drug addict alcoholic mother who threw him away when he was 10 years old? If she had died alone she would have gotten exactly what she deserved. And the idiotic teenybopper girl didn't care about his past? Your past is a part of you whether you like it or not. And his past caused him to do what he did. Other than that it doesn't make any sense why he refused to tell anyone where he was or what he was doing. His friends and adoptive parents suffered for close to a year while he tended to his pathetic mother. And oh, by the way, why couldn't his brother have taken care of her? Movie had so many twists and turns that made no sense at all.

Wokeism run amuck. Only one white male in the 10 minutes I was able to tolerate, and a lesbian as a guidance counselor. Pathetic trash. If you're straight and can't believe how actors and actresses are worshipped while the writers who tell them how to act and what to say are ignored don't waste your time watching this garbage.

The gore and mayhem were so over the top it transformed from a horror/drama movie to a comedy. Every conceivable tactic was used to escape except for the obvious one - put the "mother" in a life threatening situation.

Terrible teenybopper horror movie so filled with cliche's it's laughable. Thanks to this movie I changed the ringtone on my cellphone. Don't waste your time - terrible acting, same scenes played over and over again, and the cliche's are our of control. Shout out to the house - the only awesome thing about this train wreck.

Loved the movie but there are so many things wrong in the Memphis torture scene (see the IMDB goofs list). Goofs lists a lot of nuance and continuity errors but misses the biggest error of all - the torture and suicide mechanism were absolutely ridiculous! All they had to do is shoot him with his own weapon then put the gun in his hands.

Enjoyed the movie but wonder what a shoe designer has to do with a product recall. There would be prototypes developed and significant testing conducted before a company invested a billion dollars in production of a shoe designed by anyone, much less someone who was hired from a national scholarship program...

The acting was horrible, the "fight" scenes were worse, and the background "music" was worse than that! Dolph walked like he was over 100 years old, could barely walk up the stairs, and was too decrepit to do the fight scenes that, at best, showed him throwing a belabored punch -- painful to watch. When he went into martial arts mode he could barely raise his leg so it was mostly edited out. As if it couldn't get any worse, it did -- the story was ridiculous.
