I haven't seen the animated version so I had no preconceptions. I really enjoyed this movie. I thought the story, acting, and cinematography were great. This is a movie for 13 years and older because it is a bit violent. But great story, actors, and visuals.

Good acting. A bit cliche at times, but the actors win you over. Also easy on the eyes. Beautiful Mexican scenery. Good hearted rom-com.

This movie was a lot of fun to watch. Great characters. Perlman, McDowell, and Jones do the heavy lifting, and fighting, as expected. But there is also an awesome supporting cast of characters that help color the plot and provide some great eye candy.

Ok I'm new to the Novelas I'll admit. And I watched this in Spanish with English subtitles. But we binge watched the whole 190 episode in a week that's how addictive it was. I thought it was very well written and incredibly well acted. I saw two bad reviews and I don't get that at all. It was nothing like I've ever seen on American TV. I've seen the lead Actress and Actor before and I think they're amazing as was the whole cast. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster. Maybe I need to see a lot more novelas to compare it to but I've seen a lot of movies and TV and I think this was one of the best things I've ever seen. Bravo to everyone involved.
