Must Watch
30 March 2023
I will start by saying I've watched the show twice. Jenna Ortega absolutely slays as Wednesday Addams. I went in not knowing what to expect. I love mystery shows and movies. This show had great characters and a mystery to solve. Nevermore Academy feels like an amazing and mysterious place to be. Enid makes the perfect roommate and friend for Wednesday despite being polar opposites. Tyler was awesome. Thing was really great as well. My favorite thing was the wittiness from Wednesday. She had great one liners and comebacks. She is herself despite what others want her to be. Wednesday and Stranger Things are the best two shows on Netflix. Remember Drip coffee is for people who hate themselves and know their life has no meaning or purpose.

F*&% the Prom (2017)

Ok film
30 March 2023
F the Prom! I will start with the positive. The cast played their roles well. Madelaine Petsch stands out in this film. I enjoyed the messages and the story of the film. The execution of it could have been better. I would say this is a average teenage film, not spectacular. There are some laughs and some heartfelt moments. This might be one of those films you watch just once. It's not as bad as some are saying. It does drag a bit at times though which drops it down a bit. I showed it to a friend and he thinks it's just ok as well. I bought this movie hoping for a bit more than what we got in this film.

Ready to watch again.

Warning: Spoilers
I went with a friend to see this limited release film at a theater. The cast talked about their characters and training they did for this movie. Sienna as the narrator was a nice touch. You couldn't help but root for her. Her boyfriend Jax was an awful guy. There were laughs, sad moments, and heartfelt moments. I'm not normally into fighting movies, but this was way more than that. It's stories like these that make me keep going to movies. The cast was great in this movie. Sometimes love is worth fighting for. It was just under two hours but felt like thirty minutes. I did not check the time once which for me makes it a great film. Watch and enjoy.

Scream VI (2023)

What's Your favorite scary movie?
27 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I will start out by saying I love the dynamic between sisters Sam and Tara Carpenter. Darkness and ghostface follows Tara, Sam, Mindy, and Chad from Woodsboro to New York. Gale also returns. Someone has put on the ghostface mask and is going for the group. But Why? Tara just wants to move on and live her life, but things aren't so simple. The kills are brutal and the killer is ruthless. There is a scene that involved heights as well as a horrifying subway scene. New scares and great storytelling makes this the best Scream film yet. Twists and turns and non stop action keeps you guessing up to the reveal. Enjoy.

Fear Street!
27 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This is a clever, quirky, fun horror film that feels like the 1990s. The opening in the mall is awesome. Maya Hawke plays the smart-ass teenager really well. This story follows five kids trying to survive multiple killers coming after them. Shadyside is a cursed town. This is the first in a fantastic Netflix Original Horror trilogy. Kiana Madeira stealls the show in this movie. The whole cast is brilliant. Has violence, mystery, and the supernatural. This book is loosely based on the R. L Stine Fear Street books. It makes horror fun again without overdoing the gross out gore that makes me be very selective of horror films. Give it a watch.

Heart
26 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This story has a lot of heart. Sofia Carson sings and acts beautifully in this film. The story is great. It tackles the difficulties a lot of people face in the United States. Cassie's character Iis strong and tough. She finds out she is a type one diabetic. She aspires to become a singer and he is in the military. She marries in order to get health benefits. The couple plays the role until an event changes everything. The marriage comes into question. Bad things are happening. Hope seems lost. Can a fake marriage turn real? Watch this Netflix Original film and enjoy it. You'll laugh, cry, and hope. Hope that even when things rough you will be ok. This movie will make you feel everything and that's ok. Feel it.

Dark Slasher/Mystery
26 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Let me start off by saying mature audiences only. A lot of sensitive topics are in the show. The characters go through a lot of trauma. The cast is so good at playing their roles and the villains are terrifying. There is brutality and nudity as well as drinking and drug use. The positive is the women are brave badass warriors. Friendship conquers all. These characters form a great friendship to get through the challenges and trauma they face. This show greatly teaches the lesson of not being a bully. There is good representation in this show as well. The pacing is fast and the mystery is A-mazing. Give it a watch but don't let young kids watch it.
