Is this some kind of parody?
31 December 2023
I have watched all seasons of Money Heist and of course that series wasn't perfect either (thanks to Netflix), but at least there were some signs of character development, a well written story and more than just pointless cliches.

Berlin is a spin-off from Money Heist but honestly you can't convince me this isn't some kind of parody of the original series. The dialogs and the plots were probably written by some horny teenager with a porn addiction, and the acting is actually worse than in some amateur adult videos.

I am also sure that this website is full of bots because the episodes were all rated 9+ on the day this has released. In a real world this shouldn't be above 5 and even that is being generous. Don't waste your time with this, just rewatch Money Heist if you missed it.

This is why awards are meaningless
13 March 2023
Everything Everywhere All at Once was nominated for 11 Oscars and just won 7 recently. I immediately thought to myself that I have to watch this movie, something with this many awards can't be bad right?

Well, I was wrong.

The movie is trying to be outrageous in any possible opportunity just to be unique, but it tells the same story that is often recurring in Hollywood movies: the hard life of the minorities living in America. The jokes are rather unfunny, the plot is progressing super slow, and the edits are all over the place.

The only thing that went well for this movie is the casting. Ke Huy Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Yeoh did absolutely deserve Oscars for their performance.

To conclude this review, here is a little fun fact: EEAAO has recently become the most-awarded movie ever (yes even more than The Return of the King). If this isn't an indication of how useless awards have become, I don't know what is.

Yet another show ruined by woke culture
4 August 2021
First two seasons are great: funny yet it keeps you on the edge of your seat, but the third season is not only poorly written but also full of the politically correct agenda that is trending lately among Netflix shows.

I do not wish to pick a side on the political debate, I only wish that these TV shows would keep being entertaining. After all I don't watch Netflix in my free time to develop my political views, I watch it so I can turn off my mind and relax. Was it really necessary to bring American politics into a small German show?

Long gone are the days of golden age Sacha Baron Cohen

A comedy movie that isn't funny is like a romantic movie without a love story. This has failed on every level of "comedy", don't waste your time watching it.

Great concept to be based on true stories, but terrible execution and far from reality
19 December 2019
If you never heard of the Roger Ailes scandal and don't mind some (or a lot) of politics in movies then I can recommend it to watch but don't expect anything exceptional

I didn't think I would ever say this but from the recent movies with females in the leading role I enjoyed "Hustlers" a lot more than I did Bombshell
