A very well, nicely paced movie. To me it had that Quinton Tarrentino, Rob Zombie feel to it. The lead actor David Dastmalchian in which played the host of this late night talk showed simply nailed it. Good at his craft and made you feel for him, but at the same time, question his integrity. The balance of the cast, Lilly played by Ingrid Torelli, one of his guests the other Ian Bliss were superb in their roles. I also thought as far as sidekicks go on talk shows, Rhys Auteri were all very convincing. It's not over the top Exorcist scary, but more like a popcorn scary with a good build up for suspense. Doesn't have any tacky jump scares, which to me is a cop out for true horror and no constant screaming which is always annoying. An overall well crafted film that we've been waiting for. I think this is a good horror film for even non horror fans can watch and like.

It appears Jason Statham will do anything for a paycheck these days. Most of his movies i expect outrageous scenes and past movies were to be expected. But this flick was way to over the top and was as unrealistic as they come. I give it a 5 only because it had good fight scenes and casted well. I found myself shaking my head so many times during this viewing. Starting at the beginning, he's being accused of murder put in handcuffs and he says nothing. He doesn't even deny it, only answers a few questions he was asked and that's it. What person doesn't defend themselves in that situation? Later on, he's on a skateboard underneath a delivery truck with dozens of swat team members within feet of him and nobody notices? Then he is able to take out one of the swat members, under a truck, from a skateboard and also disrobe him and tuck him up underneath a truck and then slowly blend in with the rest of the swat team? These are just some of the things that are just sa few of many, nope, no way anyone could pull that off moments. It's things like this that make these movies laughable. How dumb is this audience?

There was even a part where he threw one guy into 2 other guys and they just fall to the ground. Like they are bowling pins? Too many scenes that are arguably unconceivable. I sure hope this action hero picks his next project with a little more scrutiny, cause this one takes the audience for fools.

Just complete nonsense. If you're into people constantly shouting hysterically at each other, with a whining, young, partially dead girl, who does nothing but gripe and moan and a cast of confusion trying to scrape a story together than this might be your cup of tea. To top it off there isn't a comical, funny or even snickering part in it. Its one of those movies I find a chore to watch. You try to convince yourself it will get better, it's not so bad. But inevitably you will find yourself dying to write a review of how a potential idea could have been made much better, perhaps with seasoned actors or withdraw the comedy aspect and insert a more mature direction.

A new twist in the Killer Shark movies. What can I say that already hasn't been said. It's top cheese material here. A rainy day afternoon movie fun for the whole family. Its full of average cgi, acting, story, pretty much everything. The research scientists chosen are some of the youngest I would ever imagine. 20 to 30 something year olds to control an arctic station to use and monitor highly sophisticated equipment. These kids sure know their stuff! Like I said it's a nothing to be said, 10 mins in you know what you're getting. I gave it a four just because the movie was completed from start to finish with an effort that was given with what little budget available. It's popcorn cheese at its finest. Take it for what it's worth.

I found this movie to be a slow burner in some ways - and not the good way either. It was so slow i had to fast forward to speed it up! As far as genre goes it had nothing of anything really. Suspense? Bore Thriller? Bore Drama? Bore. I found myself fast forwarding long minutes of dark clubs scenes with the usual crappy music playing and stoned out junkies drinking and soft porn dancing. The dialogue was terrible written by novice writers, that was clear and never once did i feel engaged as a viewer. And again, the music was such downer, just a turn off. Dawson is a beautiful woman with great acting chops, but there was no way she could save this mess. Is it normal for a rape/revenge movie to put you to sleep? I'll give it a 3 just for RD and that's it i can't think of anything else this movie had that would give the paying viewer any excitement at all. Bought this movie at a $2 bargin bin - i got ripped.

If you are into movies about UFO'S, Sci fi, and ETs, then this movie is not for you. If you're into movies about nerds then you will love this.

A bizarre movie to say the least. I can understand the hate for this movie but I don't really understand the low reviews as it was quite watchable. Perhaps it's the horror genre attached to it which I can see being an issue especially with horror fans. This was much more on a dark creepy chilling style that had a somewhat, M Night Shyamalan feel to it. The movie had a lot going for it. Direction was spot on, with good backdro/scenery. The cinematography and acting along with the score was quite fitting. For those that did not care for this movie perhaps Bruce Willis' B-movie come back is more your style?

Frankly speaking it was for me somewhat of a Black Mirror episode. I see some debate in the reviews whether this was more science fiction or horror. Myself seem to side on the Sci-Fi aspect of it but there was definitely a good amount of horror as well. The idea was fresh and choice of characters was as simple as it gets. Nothing wrong with the movie overall a quick watch to get your techno / sci-fi / Slasher fix on.

This was a decent hour and a half watch. A very well-rounded balanced group of actors who did an extremely good job. This movie pulled no punches and was serious from start to finish. Very little action 100% drama. A little slow starting hence the character development but as the story progressed you became engaged with the characters. A story of family and friends and how far one is willing to go and sacrifices they'll make for their own.

This was a movie that really insults ones intelligence. As much as I have respected Mr Eastwoods acting and directing craft over countless years, this movie had far to many issues within it. I can hardly believe that drug cartels and their mules would operate in such a way. As been stated in many reviews, the mule spending his new found wealth like a kid in a candy store, continually using the same vehicle for countless runs? And the two scenes with the highway patrol officers would just never unfold this way in this day and age. Did Mr Eastwood even do any research on drug cartels with regards to mules? It appears not. There was zero character development with the rest of cast and they were simply there to take up space. I could go on and on with the family part of this story but in the end it simply just wasnt good as far as a Clint Eastwood movie goes. I even read somewhere it is Oscar worthy? Not even close.

I really tried to enjoy this movie and just let go, but the darkness throughout the filming scenes was really visually unappealing. Perhaps for the effect of scariness, however that effect was not present anywhere throughout this film. At one point I thought Shaggy and Scooby and the entire mystery gang was going to appear and get things done!! Sorry but just a let down really.
