The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
Can't believe the negative reviews
This is so, and I cannot stress this enough, SO much better than WandaVision. Finally we get characters with depth and multi-dimensional villains that have actual motivations and aren't just evil for the pure sake of being evil (I'm looking at you, Agatha). Lack of character development and motive has always been THE major problem in Marvel Movies. It's so refreshing to watch a Marvel show that is actually trying to make me care about it's characters (or as another user put it "One episode gave Sam and Bucky more development in 45 mins than in 6 movies").
However, I do agree with some of the criticism regarding The Falcons financial situation. Seems a bit far fetched.
WandaVision (2021)
Interesting set-up, poor execution
EDIT: I'm actually surprised because the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier had more character development than this entire show. Marvel knows how to do it right so why didn't they?
The originally interesting idea of a sitcom-moving-though-time-setting didn't really serve any purpose beyond exactly what you would expect (Wanda coping with her trauma). By Episode 5 it turns into a stretched out marvel movie with CGI-Action Scenes and one-dimensional characters that you don't really care about (like two kids that neither the viewer nor Wanda herself could have formed a serious attachment to in their combined 10 minutes of screen-time). There could have been some serious character development to make up for the lack of depth in the Movies but instead they made it into a generic set-up for the next major Marvel-Superhero.
It's especially disappointing when you consider how well-crafted some Netflix-Marvel shows were that had to be cancelled to make room for this mediocre expansion to the MCU Movies. Not even in the same ballpark as Daredevil etc.
That being said, it can absolutely be fun to watch and the acting is quite good. Just nothing I'll ever feel the need to watch again.
Daredevil: Upstairs/Downstairs (2018)
goosebumps
The part where Karen talks to Fisk in his safehouse was one of the most intense scenes of the whole series.
