I seriously forgot Rupert was British and that he was Ron Weasley. He did such a phenomenal job in this, with fantatdic acting and the American accent was great. Other than that...the story is okay and slow at times. They could've wrapped this up into a short movie instead or a limited series. Lots of unnecessary scenes, and Dorothy was great, but unbelievably and unrealistically patient with Leanne. I'm a big fan of M. Night, and this was similar to his genre....but just didn't enjoy this as much as I've loved or enjoyed his movies. Appreciate it for sure, just not sure it was worth all those episodes!

The actresses in this movie were superb. Bingeworthy, and not a typical story. It's complex, dark, sad, but also full of hope, redemption, loyalty, and justice. Who doesn't love a good underdog story? The villains played their characters to a T, but also were complex. Character development for some characters were good, but wished there was a bit more background on the heros. Nevertheless this is worthy of a high rating and was definitely gripping. I would almost characterize this a political drama, but it's so much more than that. It's got depth, grit and no nonsense fillers...meaning in 9 episodes they cover enough and give you closure vs unnecessarily keeping the storyline going.

The acting was incredible - simply incredible - each and every actor in this show was amazing and brought so much depth to their characters. I binged the entire mini-series in a few nights, and by the last moment, I was ugly crying. I haven't cried this hard in a long time. This was a love story that shows you how to love, compromise, appreciate, respect, communicate. I loved the cultural nuances, the dreams that had to change, the realities of life, the complexities of families and choices. This is the best love story I have seen since 'The Notebook.' My husband isn't a fan of romantic movies; however, he was glued to the story as much as I was and appreciated it. It's a must watch.

Julia Garner is an incredible actress. She's a genius and unique. Love watching her! She literally brought a blase conartist to life. You can't turn away!

Awesome story, awesome animation....ruined by the terrible singing and songs. I have no idea who approved these songs but it totally broke an otherwise amazing movie.

The story and animations itself is a 10. But with the songs, it makes it unbearable.

Not sure why there was a need to add singing to this, it absolutely did not need it...lyrics and bad tunes tainted it. The first lego movie didn't have any singing and bad music, and it was amazing. Too much unnecessary stuff going on in this one.

I don't know what people are talking about...Liam's action movies are so fun and entertaining.

I loved almost everything about it. Except for the bad pop music.

Started watching this with my kid thinking it'd be a fun show about dinosaurs....but first episode in, and words like toxic masculinity and other unnecessary bias creating jargon started popping up....totally unnecessary. Won't let my kid watch this again.
