Do yourself a favour, this is a refreshing movie. Sure it has echoes of Groundhog day but that movie was actually mentioned in the movie. Rafe Spall is brilliant and I appreciate the talent of this actor.

Loved it!
19 November 2021
I was reluctant to watch this movie and only did so on the recommendation of a friend. The night before I had watched No Time to Die. Not being much of a Bond fan, I can tell you that I enjoyed this movie much more. It was non stop action but very humorous at the same time. Ryan Reynolds timing was brilliant. Will be watching again. Do yourself a favour and have some laughs.

It never fails to amaze me that viewers don't seem to realize that unless a movie is a documentary, it is purely for entertainment. Of course certain scenes are incredible and could not possibly happen, this is called theatrical license. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and will watch it again. Call yourself movie goers? Ha.

Warning: Spoilers
As much as this movie and of course the acting was well done. It did not portray the mother as she really was. The bodies of three missing girls was found by a Police dog being let out of the car for a pee. The following information was not included in the movie at all. I'm sure she pursued justice but I researched the following.
"Oddly, despite working closely with Mari on Shannan's disappearance, John Ray (Sarra's lawyer) also claimed Sarra's belief that Mari was demonic was partly based in truth. "Mari was a lifetime practitioner of witchcraft and apparently of black magic," Ray said in the same Newsday report. "And her children were adversely affected by it, there is no question about it whatsoever." But Sarra's sister Stevie Smith disagreed regarding the motive, testifying that Sarra was jealous of her relationship with their mother and "I believe she would have killed me too."

Old blue eyes
5 December 2019
Apparently, more than half the population of Irish have blue eyes. Why did they have to give them to Mr. Di Niro? So distracting. They looked as if they might be contacts because his eyes appeared to be watering. Trying to enjoy a movie but the first hour is spent focusing on eyes.

Whatever

As much as I enjoyed this production, I have to say that Dennis Quaid's distorted expressions were a little over the top. I couldn't take my eyes of his face. A little distracting to say the least. The remainder of the cast did a fine job. I'm glad they were eight short episodes.

Brilliant acting and cinematography
4 November 2019
Maybe I am easily impressed, but the growth of the calibre of acting never ceases to amaze me. I was born in Shakespeare county close to Stratford, and I am sure never in his wildest dreams could Shakespeare have imagined that cinematic technology would be able to portray history this way and with such plethora of talented actors. In Shakespeare time, the audiences had to use their own imagination to see the battles. This movie is brilliant.

I can honestly say that I always find something good in a movie. Why so called serious movie critics lambaste a movie, is beyond me. The CGI were over the top but incredibly entertaining. I watched two movies on a flight home from Bucharest and wished I hadn't have waited to see this one. I didn't want to waste my time watching a movie that others had given such a low score to. Shame on you, you so called movie fans,
