The Descent: Part 2 (2009)
Doesn't come close to the original like many sequels
I had high expectations for this one but it failed to deliver. No jump scares like I experienced in the first one, just so predictable & the acting was lame.
The Descent (2005)
My favourite horror movie of all time
This one delivered the chills. The eerie atmosphere, the jumpscares, it had it all. Definitely my no.1 horror movie & I've been a horror movie buff for 30 years having seen most of them. Highly recommend.
The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016)
Scared the bejeezus out of me & I'm a horror movie buff
What can I say. This movie is no. 2 on my list of best rated horror movies. Very creepy & edge of your seat atmosphere. It kept me fully intrigued throughout. Highly recommend.
Choose or Die (2022)
Aussie Horror Movie Addict here & loved this movie!!
I'm not getting the hate here, this was an all 'round good movie. Had the thrills, chills & a couple of laughs in it. There was a part 3/4 of the way in when they arrived at the warehouse that I started to cool on a bit from there as it could have been directed better but it kept my fiance & I enthralled throughout. Definitely recommend this one!
616 Wilford Lane (2021)
If you love a movie with a twist, watch this
This movie kept my partner & I engrossed throughout. I love anything paranormal. Didn't have many jump scares but still a tad on the creepy side but the twist. One of us usually always guesses what's going on in the movie but wow, didn't see that one coming! Recommend for a rainy day if you're into a good thriller/light horror.
Aftermath (2021)
Suspenseful little gem of a movie
My partner & I really enjoyed this movie. It had some really good suspenseful moments in it & we wracked our brains trying to work out just what was going on. I highly recommend this movie.
Shortcut (2020)
Started off ok then.........
Just got stupid. The actors tried their best with the script/production & direction given but nothing could have saved this other than costume design not putting a black sheet over an 80's halloween masked monster.
Hunter Hunter (2020)
Creepy, slow burning thriller
This one had my partner & I on the edge of our seats trying to put piece by piece together. Acting was fantastic, creepy atmosphere added to the last quarter's dramatic finale. They don't bring movies out like this one alot, highly recommend.
El practicante (2020)
Great movie - hooks you in from the start!
This was such a good movie, I could watch it again. Great little thriller that keeps you locked in from the start. Very creepy, a must watch!
Come Back to Me (2014)
A creepy ride
This movie definitely had the creeps in it. The twist at the end was worth waiting for. Not a bad little thriller/horror to keep you entertained on a rainy day.
Alone (2020)
What a great movie - had a little bit of everything
You would think watching someone deal with a zombie apocalypse in their own apartment (as per the synopsis states so not giving away a spoiler) would be like watching paint dry but this little gem had a bit of everything. Suspenseful, a bit of gore, humour - just drudged up alot of the feels. My partner & I loved it & he's hard to please with a movie. Definitely recommend this one.
A Trace of Danger (2010)
Definitely had me thinking
I love movies that have you trying to wrack your brain who the killer is. This was one of those in my opinion. Low budget but the actors did what they could with it. Definitely a solid little thriller to kill some time with.
Servant (2019)
I'm hooked
M Night Syamalan has done it again! Creating a creepy storyline with mesmerizing characters. Just when I thought I've worked it out, it takes me right back around the but what if. Cannot wait for episode 4. Highly recommend this series for any horror/thriller fans.
