For All Time (2000 TV Movie)

Warning: Spoilers
I recently happened upon this film on a user Channel on YouTube. I had seen it on Amazon Prime maybe 2 years ago and watched it twice while it was still available. I just looked and it is back on Amazon Prime; however, I don't know how long it will remain available. This is a much "kinder, gentler" time-travel tale than the apparent norm, primarily because the initial trip returns to when things seemed "simpler". I'll have to say the ending is good but maybe it could be called slightly "soiled" (particularly by a lifelong resident with an inquisitive if not intuitive nature).

Spoiler Alert! My closing thought at the movie's end has always been "How would he be able to explain knowing about what was going to happen before the final event happened?" Knowing the whole movie, after over a week since my last watch, I still have not come up with a way for our hero to explain how he knew.

Unexpectedly watchable relationship patching

Redford and Freeman are excellent in their portrayal as longtime close friends who have endured much together, and Lopez is believable as a single-mom/daughter-in-law reluctantly reaching out to her estranged father-in-law several years after the death of her husband.

Fire with Fire (II) (2012)

I found this "formula film" to be quite watchable.

I have a computer with two monitors. That allows me to play my favorite turn-based strategy game on one while watching a movie on the other. I found that the more I watch the movie and ignore the game could determine how to rate the movie. A 10 would mean I started the movie and either never left to return to the game or did so only once (usually during opening credits). I only went to the game twice (very briefly both times during the first 15 minutes) while watching this movie. It's a bit like driving home with a few unexpected detours along the way, you know you'll get there, but there may be some unfamiliar scenery to see along the journey.
