Kül (2024)
This Isn't It!
I kept watching this movie even though, well the wife has quite a few screws loose. That's fine it's a movie but this is, dare I say...cringey. She behaves how a teenage girl who's never felt lust before would possibly behave as well as being very controlling. I didn't dislike everything about the movie. I did like the scenic scenes and thought they were all well done as well as the wardrobe choices for the actors and actresses.
I like where the movie was headed with the twist towards the end but the very end, ugh, well that ruined what good was left of this movie. Spoiler...Her friend saw who she was having an affair with and told her it wasn't appropriate. So her lover kills her husband in the husband and wife's home and she gets off without any issues from the police? They'd have to be pretty dumb or paid off. It was a hard watch and the end was even harder. Netflix has been picking movies that are
genuinely not worth watching. Just sucks for someone who isn't a couch potato and wants to watch a good movie let down again and again.
Si lo hubiera sabido (2022)
What happened
The last episode should have been thrown in the trash cause it was straight nonsense, I mean come on! The writers could have written something that made more sense. The last episode they make it seem like the lady is on an acid trip with all the crazy scenarios.
Is there a movie out there where the person goes back in time for a redo and is actually happy about getting that chance?
So many ways this could have been written differently and turned out to be a great show.
I hope they don't make another season out of this and waste more people's time.
I did like the main actress though and I could feel her emotions. So hopefully she gets a chance in better roles. I however felt all the other actors need more practice or maybe their character wasn't a correct fit.
Bird Box: Barcelona (2023)
Thanks Netflix Top Ten for letting me down again!
Don't waste your precious time or do it's yours to waste.
The main character is very unlikable.
These things speak to people and make them hear voices of loved ones passed. The people and dogs wear blindfolds, so why not earplugs for the people too.
The main character can see these invisible creatures and leads innocents to their deaths.
They trust him and he betrays them. He also shreds the leashes of two dogs sleeping in the night next to their owners and the dogs NEVER wake up...What?! So of course the dogs leashes finish shredding the rest of the way and they get loose the next day and lose their blindfolds.
The main character lost his wife and daughter but still thinks he sees his daughter. She speaks to him telling him that people are sheep and to not trust them and to help them find their way and only then can he be reunited with his daughter.
I couldn't take any more and only made it an hour with 50 minutes remaining, I switched to another movie.
Dangerous Game: The Legacy Murders (2022)
Comedy?
I thought this was suppose to be a comedy at times with the horrible acting. Blonde girl needs more acting classes and should not of been casted for this type of role.
From the get you know or should pretty much know the person/persons responsible.
I guess Jon can't find good movie roles anymore. I did like parts of this movie but this is no who dunnit since you already know the responsible party.
There is some gore in this movie that reminds me of saw and if you don't like gore you may not like parts of this movie.
I didn't but that's not why I gave it a bad review.
Also what architect, contractor, subcontractor, inspector the list goes on is going to agree to put gas and oven chambers in a building, not to mention the permitting on that...but hey I guess money talks.
The Wretched (2019)
If a teen made a movie
I really know how to pick 'em...crappy movies that is.
I don't have a lot of time these days for movies and this was a waste of my time. Also kids, see something say something to a trusted adult, don't wait...that was truly annoying for me.
Guest House (2020)
Sorry not sorry
Pauly Shore you are really reaching here. Can you be a better actor/comedian please. I used to like your movies but this is for the trash heap. You're in your 50's grow up and at least try to play a different role. Maybe a mental institution part would suit you better than comedy.
El hoyo (2019)
Odd one out on this one
Popular on Netflix for a hot second and I was fooled again. I don't understand how this movie gets better reviews than other movies. It has a hidden meaning to it so let's give it a bunch of stars. This movie was boring with a lackluster ending. I was hoping with every floor it would get better but I was let down. This movie has some gore in it that was hard for me to watch, if you are sensitive to that sort of thing.
What Keeps You Alive (2018)
Why did Brittany Allen pick this film?
I only watched to maybe the halfway point.
Maybe she hit her head just a little too hard.
She made terrible choices again and again.
I could no longer watch after the boat scene.
Why didn't you cry out for help, you knew she was going to kill you anyway. Instead you go back for a bath and then talk up a big game to her. I just didn't get it and didn't want to waste any more time watching this. On the plus side I did really enjoy Brittany's acting capabilities. I really believed she had been pushed off a cliff.
