Men (2022)
Yeah, really pointless, unless you think this was art house horror?
Well most people are not fans of the last half hour, but I thought it was finally something interesting. Yeah it was, but does that make up for over two hours of what was the point of this film? No, sadly no. Its some sort of symbolism, message or.... Oh no it was just rubbish. I can't even say the main man that plays all the 'men' was brilliant, well he was OK but did it all feel like some sort of noone wants to be in this film? Have I used my 600 character review????????? I can some it up in one word, pony. Google it. I'm trying to roll out my honest review that needs to use 600 characters for. Oh it's done.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
What was the point of that?
Seriously, what was the point of making this? Nothing new and a poor attempt to do what? Could have been a proper Hill Billy kept it in the family if you know what i mean. Actually fell asleep half way through and then rewound to catch up on what I had missed. Nothing worth rewinding. Waste of a Saturday afternoon. Please do not continue the franchise.
The Lovely Bones (2009)
Profoundly good
Watched it ages ago. Didn't remember most of it. Really sereal. The bad guy trips me out. Yeah good film. Give it a go. Not sure what the hate was in some of these reviews.
Spencer (2021)
Boring, pointless and just not very goid
Did I watch the same film as the high reviews? How, why, what was the point. At least The Crown had a balanced view of Diana. Don't waste any money or time on this.
No Time to Die (2021)
No dear. Made during the peek of wokeness and now very out of touch with today
Q Is gay. So? New Black female 007, why? She was so wooden it was painful. Bond makes breakfast for his kid, did bond have a kid? Don't get me wrong there some really good Bondy moments but the ending? How are they going to rescue that? Oh the bit where he grovels and says sorry, OK he had gun but really? I actually 100% agree with the low reviews based on all of the above.
Titane (2021)
I like different. It's makes a nice change
Well here is a smack to the face. Didn't read anything about it before watching and loved it's madness. I have fallen in love with really mad French films (climax, irreversible, high tension, etc). The dance scenes are brilliant. The plot story swings to wtf. More please.
Dear White People (2017)
Wow really?
Are you kidding me? The title screams racism why why why would you think this was a good idea. Disgusting trash, just put the issue back ten years. Not that 99% of normal people even think colour is even an issue.
Malignant (2021)
Such a tribute to all 80s horror flicks
Well I wasn't expecting it to be such fun and as the title says such a tribute to all 80s horror flicks. Starts off a bit cheesy / cliche but then OK I get it. Flips things on its head later on and just gets better. No spoilers here but could easily list films it pays tribute too. More please.
Candyman (2021)
Watch the original and leave it at that.
Disappointing and slow. Not a remake, but a bad sequel, and way too political. Waited ages for it, which is a shame.
Kate (2021)
What's not to like?
Wasn't expecting anything from this. Just thought it was another low key filler. But hold on, I loved it. What's not to like? Action, manga'ish, and fun.
Brand New Cherry Flavor (2021)
Utter rubbish.
Wanted to see this for a while, looked good, some good reviews and nothing else out at the moment. Conclusion? An absolute yawn fest. Gave up after the first episode. Dont waste your time.

Freaks (2018)
Usually I hate slow burners but this ended up being awesome
I saw this one a few years ago but forgot all about it. Scrolling through Netflix and thought well there is nothing else on. BOOOOOOM OK starts of a bit what's going on, and a bit slow, and then wow. No spoilers here, watch it. Please make a follow up and make it as mad as the end of the film.
Pig (2021)
Pains me to say it
I love nicks work. Mandy, colour of space, wild at heart, and so on and so on. This had so much potential. Slow burn that never caught fire. Oh well. I'll still watch whatever the next film he does.
Black Widow (2021)
Why bother?
Unlike all the other avenger films I turned it off after 20 minutes because my take away food arrived. The next day i stuck it back on for a bit and then was distracted by a cat in my garden. The next day I thought I'd watch the rest of it and have just paused it to write this review. Not a good start to a film I was looking forward to. Too little too late.
A Quiet Place Part II (2020)
Worth watching but.....
Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed this jump scare ride but two things: 1) it's like the first one, right? 2) ending was too abrupt. Oh wait you'll do part 3 and go for more cash. OK I get it, bit disappointed at that. I know its only a film but wouldn't the army and some big guns sort those thing out?
They Look Like People (2015)
Utter rubbish
Did I watch the same film? Had promise until 5 minutes in then slow and nothing really happens. Seriously nothing.
Them (2021)
Wow, absolutely wow
Anyone who marks this gem low is quite frankly an idiot. The style, the filming, the story, the atmosphere, the music, the impact, so many layers, so sinister. It was a punch in the face to anything out there at the moment. That's the standard we need. Truly amazing.
Archive (2020)
Wow. Became totally something else
Started off OK, quite watchable and then I was totally sucked in. Do not read the spoilers, I'm glad I didn't. Yes very Black Mirror and loved it. They could have got this so wrong but they didn't thankfully. More please.
Boss Level (2020)
Great fun and really good
Wasn't sure, never heard of it, um maybe. Hold on it's really good. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved all the characters. More please. So much rubbish out at the moment, this was some kind of fun I needed.
Willy's Wonderland (2021)
Understand what it is.
Cage rage random pandamonium cult classic madness with murderous anamatronics 100% fun. Literally the most fun in ages because its so different to the mainstream slush that's coming out at the moment. There you go, done!
Saint Maud (2019)
Um? Not worth the hype
So once you get to the end, it's either about a divine religious experience or its just in her head and she has mental health issues?? The latter probably, too slow, warmed up towards the end ish.
Shadow in the Cloud (2020)
It was supposed to be filmed like that. 80's retro cool
Didnt want to watch it after reading the reviews but I did and I get it. It was supposed to be exactly that style. The music, the feel, the green screen effects. All of it. 80s retro cool about a ww2 rediculous story. If you werent of that era, you will hate it, I didn't. What else you going to watch?
Dog Soldiers (2002)
Howling with laughter!
Forgotten just how funny this film was. Forgotten the twists and turns of the story. Timeless non woke classic. Shame they don't make em like this anymore. Sausages!
Manyeo (2018)
Please make the rest of them
How did I miss this one? Absolutely loved it. What a twist and how different does it become half way through (in a really good way).
