Capitani (2019)
Boring
Boring boring boring. Season 1 acceptable, #2... cannot make it.
Stories already told, drama already seen, plot already known. A pity since there is good acting in here.
Anatomy of a Scandal (2022)
Mediocre
Your average suspense movie with ridiculous direction.
You can tell from the vero beginning how it is going to end but you watch it nonetheless because sometimes you need something lighter. And then you had this terrible scenes, flashbacks, overlap of images and memories...
Manifest (2018)
Really??
I really don't get the appeal of this terrible series on most of the public.
Awful acting, badly written, poor plot.
I gave up and I rarely do that.
¿Quién Mató a Sara? (2021)
Sex, have some?
This Mexican - and not Spanish as someone said - production could be the usual crime/family saga story, nothing new but ok to spend a few hours without thinking too much.
But... some unbelievable elements (how the main character had access to evidence and information on his own case while in prison?) and a lot, I mean, LOT , of useless sex scenes, not even remotely interesting under an aesthetic or erotic point of view, ruin everything and make you rush to reach the end, have the guilty revealed and turn the tv off.
Soulmates (2020)
Stop comparing and think
Clearly you see Black Mirror. That series traced a new parh in distopic tech-related future so every new narrative including technology and visionary or eery stories leads to think of a sort of copycat.
I don't think so.
Most importantly, every episode has a different mood and appeal, so I thought, I laughed and even cried a little.
Plus: great cast.
I really hope the average rating will change.
Industry (2020)
Frustrating in its exaggeration
Too much sex, too many drugs, a lot of jargon in what appear to be 'useless' lives, in the end.
But somehow you feel compelled to see how it's going to wrap up...
Bridgerton (2020)
Never touch this genre if it's not your cuppa!
A night wasted.
I only save costumes, Claudia Jessie's brilliant attitude and Rege-Jean Page beauty (you can turn sound off if that's what interests you).
Downton abbey?? Austen?? Are you kidding?
Rebecca (2020)
6+
So people is giving Emily in Paris 8 and 9 and this 4?
Ok then.
Emily in Paris (2020)
Another silly useless show
All the cliches you can think of.
Every scene lead to some place you already know. All people are beautiful, rich, glamorous and pretty unbearable, first of all Emily herself.
One doesn't need a high level clever committed intellectual show all the time, but funny and light comedies shouldn't be that idiotic.
Dispatches from Elsewhere (2020)
Not for everyone (sorry for the others)
Weird, chaotic, multi-layered, hilarious, sweet and sour with great acting tale.
The story, which is not "one story" actually, cannot be told.
Sometimes, in the end, a bit indulgent in self-pitying but it has been admitted out loud so try it and enjoy.
As I said, not for everyone.
Ad Astra (2019)
Moving and intelligent
I cannot believe in such bad comments.
This is a great movie, travelling into space is an excuse to explore human intimacy and unsolved relationships. I reckon most of the people here was expecting another genre of movie.
Succession (2018)
Really cannot make up my mind!
Awful characters. Awkward situations. Very good actors. Weak plot. Great music. Annoying use of camera. I don't really like it but can't stop watching either.
