Dashcam (2021)
Annie are you ok? Are you OK, Annie?
No seriously...are you OK Annie? Would have given this movie 1 star but some of the comments of the live viewers were great. Host was a great watch. But this movie was recycled garbage that was only recycled into garbage all over again. If Annie had contracted covid in the storyline, I would have been a happy viewer. That's how bad her character was. Toxic af. She was a teenage female version of 45. And a wannabe rapper whose lines sounded like something a 10 year old playing call of duty would have written. I love found footage. I love blumhouse. I loved Host. This was a huge disappointment.
Friends: The Reunion (2021)
I laughed.....I cried.....
I really didn't expect to enjoy this reunion. I wanted more Friends episodes, and maybe a Big Bang crossover episode. But traveling down memory lane as I watch this special, this is far better than I anticipated. It is definitely a fun and special....special. If you're a Friends fanatic, this is a must-see and a must have addition to your collection.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Marvel vs..... THIS??
Wow. I know DC movies are hit or miss. This was a definite miss. Only like 20 minutes in (I skipped the first 10 minutes or so....felt hunger games-ish) the mall scene felt more like a bad (and I mean really bad) 80s comedy than a good Batman-esque movie. The CG looked terrible and very obvious green screen (think watxhing Toby Mcguires spiderman today) I'll keep watching but not expecting much. And DC fans wonder why Marvel is so much more popular these days.
Jumper (2008)
Why the hate?
Not exactly groundbreaking (as another reviewer stated) but then again, are we supposed to hate anything that is not? This movie had a lot of potential to be an awesome series but the hate killed it. Same thing went for the covenant. But put some sparkling vampires or a 10 year old boy in magic school out there and then you want 50 something sequels? 2 Anne Rice movies that were great and no one cares. I don't get critics. They ruin everything. I love jumper. I love the covenant and I love both of the Anne Rice vampire movies. Rant over.
Outbreak (1995)
Deja vu 2020 anybody?
Pretty similar to coronavirus 2.0 don't ya think? Put Outbreak with contagion and you have coronavirus. Once again Hollywood predicts the future. 25 years in the making!
Family Guy: Peter & Lois' Wedding (2019)
Good one lmao
I enjoyed this episode. Some of my favorite shows featured clips here: Friends, daria, beavis and butthead, and even Joey Lawrence made an appearance.
Supernatural: Atomic Monsters (2019)
Loving the road so far
Great episode and was glad to hear jensen ackles song playing in the background. Great actor and great singer!
South Park: Season Finale (2019)
Politi-Park is back haha
I gotta admit....I was wondering if South Park would bring "Garri-Trump" back. I know there are a lot of people sick of politics and the impeachment stuff but personally I love it. Especially when south park gets involved. They always have Trump down to a T! These guys are brilliant the way they spin the stories. Watch it! It's worth it!!
Family Guy: Cat Fight (2019)
FINALLY
This is the first episode in awhile that I actually laughed at. This season has been a disaster thus far but tonight I laughed....not snickered a little (like with so many from seasons 17 and 18) but actually laughed out loud. Maybe they havent lost it yet!
Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
Solid fate....why the hate?
This was a much better sequel than I expected. I took away 3 stars for Arnold's first scene (if you seen it you know why). Then seeing who the character becomes and no cheesy dialog (thank God!) gives this movie back 2 stars. The dialog (and some of the fight scenes) throughout the movie were far too repetitive of the first 2 so another star gone. I give this movie an 8. Far better than any movie past T2. My opinion its equal to T1! I think people that hate this installment only want Arnold's corny lines. That's why salvation received such a low score. Or maybe it's because of the first arnold scene. The flashback. Ok I give it that but it's time to move on. It has been 35 years of the same storyline. Give the fresh look a chance!
Family Guy: Disney's The Reboot (2019)
I'm about to divorce this family
This show used to have me rolling. Alot of the episodes still do. Season 17 and 18 are just plain terrible. I cant see much humor in this season at all! It seems as if ever since they began talks of ending the series, that plan has been in motion, making each episode worse than the one before. Are they TRYING to kill the series?
Terminator Salvation (2009)
They Baled on some Arnold-relief
I simply love the terminator franchise including The Sarah Connor Chronicles. That being said....I'm no fan of Arnold. He is great when he is serious but (aside from the 1984 film, his character is goofy. I like the serious tone of these movies. The comedy should stay minimal. All Arnold is from T2 onward is comic relief. Salvation shows a world without him and it is great. Kyle reese is the comic relief and it's just enough to keep the pace. Christian Bale wasnt particularly outstanding in anything here really (a bit 1 dimensional if you ask me) but his supporting characters were great. Arnold's cg (and without dialogue) is all we needed from him. Tossing people like rag dolls. Bending steel. Not standing on one foot or terrifying bullying teenagers. I admit the bond between him and john in T2 was touching. But I could go for pages of the stupid and corny lines and directions they gave this man that were just too much.
The franchise would be better without him at this point. I was extremely disappointed in the follow up entitled Genisys. They should have continued Salvations storyline as promised.
