Strange, But Not Bad
Spoilers? After Fifty First Dates, you didn't think Adam Sandler would be in another strange film, right. No. Even so, this movie is just as good. When Micheal Newman receives a couple of small tragic incidents (mistaking a Chinese boy for his son, etc.), he goes out one night, looking for a regular Universal remote. But when he ends up in a tiny lab, he meets Morty, an inventor of some kind. Morty is played by Christopher Walken, the best actor in the movie, and he gives Micheal a so-called regular remote. Soon, he finds out how to control his boss (David Hasselhoff) and his wife (Kate Beckinsale) and most everyone else with it. Until he uses auto-pilot too much, all he can do is watch the years slip by in days.
Clue (1985)
Excellent
Spoilers******* When Wadsworth the butler invites several people over to his mansion for them to meet Mr. Boddy, something bad goes wrong. When Mr. Boddy hands out weapons to the people he blackmailed, he turns off the light to test them. In anger, one (I will not say who) of the people kills Mr. Boddy (?). When he appears not to be dead, they have to find out how, until they find his REAL dead body in the bathroom. They do not know how, so then they have to search the building for clues that will help them find out this mystery, before the real killer gets them. It is hilarious how they act when a guest comes by, trying to hide their dark secrets. If you got the edition with all three endings, it is a BIG surprise at the end.
You'll love it 10/10
Rugrats Go Wild (2003)
Terrible, But I Will Not Explain All the Way Why
Spoilers?
This movie contains disgusting humor and terrible songs and acting, but I will not explain that. When the Rugrats crash on the island that the Thornberries are filming on, the adults join together to find a way out. When Angelica watches the babies, she is dumb enough to go play. The Rugrats run off into the woods to do some playing of their own. When Tommy witnesses a Thornberry filming (Curry, one of the few good actors in this film), he is determined to find him. But when their split up they have to fight their way back to camp. Angelica, meanwhile, realizes the babies are gone and goes into the woods to find them for her own benefit. When she runs into Debbie Thornberry, she takes a break at her camper. Alizza is out with her chimp, and she runs into Spike, played by the always good acting Bruce Willis, and for the first time, you hear him talk.
A deserved 2/10 (because it had the Thornberries, which are better).
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
Good, But not As Good As The Book
Spoilers? This film is lacking much from the book--it left the Dursleys completely out. It only shows the death of Frank Bryce in at least three minutes, and the dream of this is bothering Harry. Right after that, it cuts to Harry in bed, being awoken by Hermione to go to the Quidditch World Cup, Ron invited him. They cut the game quite short, but you at least get to see Victor Krum, an amazing player. But the camp is distrupted by Death Eaters, Vodomorts followers, so they have to get to school soon after the attack. But at least it has everything for the Tasks. When Harry Potter enters his fourth year, two other schools compete in the Triwizard Tournament, three difficult tasks, one student from each school in it. But, someone put his name in the cup of people entering, even though he was an under-age wizard. Now he has to compete in the three deadly tasks, with only his friends for hope.
This one is hilarious compared to the other three, and it shows the people and places in a new way.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Different, But Good
Spoilers? This film is different from the other HP movies, and actually contains humor. Sirius Black (Oldman) is added to the long list of characters, and this one doesn't talk about Voldemort as much as the others, but really focuses on the mystery of Black. When Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts for a third year, he faces many problems. His form to go to Hogsmead isn't signed, he worries that Sirius is after him, and Hagrid's hippogriff (half horse, half human) is going to be executed for injuring a student. He also faces dementors, animals that suck out people's souls, but learns the spell to defend him from his new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
Better Than the First
Spoilers? One of my favorites of the harry potter films, this one is probably the best of the "CGI Monsters" of the HP series. In the second year of Hogwarts, Harry gets himself trapped in his room, but is rescued by Ron and his friends. He had got there because of a house-elf named Dobby, who warned him of going back to Hogwarts, so splatters cake all over a guests head because Harry wouldn't listen. When Ron rescues him, they are blocked from getting on the train to Hogwarts. They take Mr. Weasley's flying car, but Ron is reprimanded soon after wards. The two meet up with Hermione and they soon learn about the Chamber of Secrets, a chamber said to contain a monster. They try to learn more while people are being petrified by this monster.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001)
Wonderful Film
Spoilers? Harry Potter lives with his terrible Uncle Vernon And Aunt Petunia and his fat cousin Dudley. They all treat him like dirt, and when Harry receives many letters, Vernon gets suspicuos and moves to an island where no one can get them, or so he thinks. Thats when a giant called Hagrid comes and invites him to Hogwarts and explains to Harry that he's a wizard. Hogwarts is a special school for witches and wizards. Once Harry takes this in, he accepts the offer. At Hogwarts he meets two new friends, Ron (Grint) and Hermione (Watson). When they learn about the Sorcers Stone, and predict it is in Hogwarts, they are thrust into a world of fantasy and adventure.
AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004)
Not Bad
Spoilers? In the real world, a pack of alien life-forms called predators land on earth to go back to their underground chamber. But a large group of scientists and others find the chamber and detect something strange. As they reach there, they discover aliens that have awoken from being asleep for almost 2,000 years...the predators return...and they are thrust into and adventure of life or death as the battle begins. I haven't seen many alien films and no predator films (yet), but having to know the stories I understand the whole thing. The acting is overall good and it was great to have someone from "Aliens" be in the film but somethings are strange. But overall pretty good.
Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (2004)
Not as Bad as Everyone Thinks
Spoilers? Everyone may say this film is bad, but it really isn't as bad as they think. It may have some weird parts and bad acting, but the story is good. Like nothing you'd know. A man sends some people to find the Blood Orchid, a flower that can create longer life. The people round up a crew, led by a bold boat driver, Bill Johnson (Messner). When they are attacked by a strange anaconda, Johnson calls on his friend to help him. When he finds his friend killed by a snake also, the crew has to fight heir way through the forces of the jungle, people getting picked off as they go along.
Probably an 8/10
Tears of the Sun (2003)
A Very Emotional War Film
Spoilers? In the jungles of the south, a town faces torture and killing from another army. A team of soldiers are sent there to evacuate a doctor, the team led by Lt. Waters, played by a wonderful Bruce Willis. The doctor won't leave without refugees from the town. Waters agrees after much arguing, so they embark on a mission to save the people. Waters lied. When they reached the helicopters, Waters only evacuates the doctor. As they are flying, he witnesses the destruction of the town, so he turns back to get the rest of the refugees. The helicopter can only carry twelve people, though, so the rest have to be taken to the next landing site. As the team begins to lead them to freedom, they face unthinkable dangers. This film is a very strange war film, for it contains almost no violence til the first half-hour, but by the end, it was worth the wait. It is a very sad film, for the torturing scenes and the loss of people.
Jaws (1975)
Terrifying
Spoilers?
By the coast, Chief Martin Brody (Schieder) finds parts of a body washed up on the beach. A mysterious finding, he reports it is a shark attack. He is put on the job to watch for a shark on the beach, and just whens he was thinking it was over, a boy is snatched up from below. He warns the mayor of the coming danger, but he won't close the beach; a coming attraction is coming and he earns most of his money at this opportunity, and nothing can stop him. He hires a shark expert to help him find this shark. But as they search, the shark becomes a bounty, so the mayor sends people to look for the shark. Brody continues to warn the mayor, but he just doesn't care, even as more people are being eaten. But then a hunter named Quint decides to take them on foraging for the shark. It is only until the last half-hour do you see the whole shark, but Spielberg can keep the suspense running throughout the whole film.
The Terminator (1984)
Awesome Sci-fi Film
Spoilers?

But, Sarah escapes and finds Kyle Reese (Biehn), who was sent to protect her. He and her escape into a car and then Reese tells her the bad news. But in an accident, Kyle ends up in jail and Sarah stays for the night. But, as Sarah stays, the Terminator finds her and hunts the police station--with two fully-loaded rifles. This is one of Cameron's best creations, which produced two sequels.
Scary Movie 3 (2003)
A Hilarious Sequel
Spoilers?
If you liked Scary Movie one and two, you would like this one, two. Cindy Campell returns, firing up the screen with a great performance. The plot is very strange, but it will add even more humor to the screen. When people begin to watch an evil killing videotape, Cindy Campell tries to save the earth from danger and aliens attacking the planet. After you watch this videotape, the phone rings and someone says you will die in seven days. The videotape tells of an evil daughter is taken home by her foster parents. She unleashes her evilness onto them, so the mother drowns her in a well. The father videotapes it, and takes it to blockbuster when he thinks he's returning something else. Many years later, people start getting copies, (but they don't know it's evil), and they begin to die because the daughter has rose from the dead and comes out of the well. Saven days after watching the movie, the daughter comes out of the TV and kills it's watcher. The fist time you see her come out, it is hilarious--the person there actually fights the daughter. Meanwhile, as Cindy worries with that, President Harris is having his own problems with an alien invasion!
A well-deserved 9/10
Jurassic Park (1993)
Spielburg has all his fantastic work, wrapped into one
This film is simply extraordinary. Words cannot describe it's greatness. The dinosaurs look so realistic, and it is really intense. This movie deserves a 10! So, the whole story is from Chriton's amazing novel( I read Jurassic Park, and lost world ), and I loved Spielburg's film for it!
It is all about two paleontologists, a mathmetican, and a billionaire. John Hammond ( the billionaire ), builds a huge park with dinosaurs in it, then he invites the two paleontoligists, Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and the mathmatican, Ian Malcolm to the park. Malcolm seems to predict something bad is going to happen, while Hammond doesn't believe him. But then, on their first tour, everything goes wrong. The dinosaurs brake out, and everything is chaos. In the scene when the tyrannosaur breaks out, Malcolm brakes his leg, and the survivors have to find their way around the island, to escape. The second one is just as good, but i won't get far into that.
"Until something goes wrong...." The last four words in the summary for the novel seem to have started it all!
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
My favorite of the original trilogy
This is one of my favorite of the old Star Wars movies. The fight scenes are brilliant and the characters are well acted. Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2, Han Solo, and Chewbacca are all back a -gain, and better than ever! There is only two new characters- Lando Calrissan and Darth Sidious. (You only get a glimpse of him).
This next paragraph may have a *possible* spoiler.
My favorite part is when Han Solo lands the Millennium Falcon in this huge cave, but then they find out monsters are outside of the cave, so t- hey send some people out of the cave to see what they are. After Han Solo blasts one of them, they get in the Falcon, and take off. That pa- rt is really cool, because the cave is just one big mouth of one of those monsters! And, whats really cool, is that when they take off out of there, you can see the monster's mouth about to close and chomp them up!
I loved this movie, though I didn't see the fourth one. (But I read the book). The visuals may be old, but that doesn't mean this movie is awesome! This movie deserves a 10/10!
Gladiator (2000)
Simply amazing.
This is a truly amazing story, describing a sad story about a man's life. Gladiator is sad, action-packed, and some history, all in one. Russell Crowe does an amazing job portraying Maximus, and I can see why he won a best actor award.
This next paragraph may contain a *possible* spoiler.
The story is like no other, about a man who's family was killed by a king, and goes to seek revenge as a gladiator. I was able to see this on TV, after my friend told me about how good it was. I also liked it, for its incredible acting, and unique story.
I love the characters in this story, especially Maximus and Commodus. I knew this story would be pretty good, like all Ridley Scott films. This is a must see.
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Awesome star wars movie!
George Lucas has, once again, created a a masterpiece. This is my favorite of the Star Wars movies, and the acting is a bit better than the other two prequels.
If you haven't seen the movie, and you want to, do NOT read the rest of this comment!!!!!!
Many returning characters die in this film, making it pretty sad compared to the other Star Wars movies. I really didn't want Mace Windu to die, but he does. The fight scene against him and Palpatine was really cool and intense. And-finally- Darth Sidious is back!
My favorite part is when Anakin and Obi-wan fight at the lava pit is awesome, with all the intense music and lava. It was really cool when Obi-wan cuts off Anakin's legs and he catches on fire, and the visuals make everything so cool.
For big Star Wars fans, this is a great sequel!
Batman Begins (2005)
Best Batman Film Ever!
This is indeed, the best movie I've ever seen. I have always loved the Batman movies (except for Batman & Robin and Batman Forever), and this is the best one yet! Micheal Caine was awesome when he was acting out Alfred, Christian Bale was great as Batman, and Tom Wilkinson was incredible as Falcone. The villain(s) were amazing, especially Liam Neeson's character The visuals are awesome! They make one villain, Scarecrow, look sooooooo cool! Scarecrow is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen in a movie. Also, everything has a reason why or how it is going on.
Not only is this the best Batman movie, it's the best movie I've ever seen! If you are a huge Batman fan, see it!
Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Spielberg's Best Yet!
Saving Private Ryan is probably the best war movie ever made! Everything about this film is awesome, including the acting, the special effects, and the music. What make's this film different from other war movies? It has no music when they're fighting, of course! This only makes it more realistic, and it seems like Steven Spielberg will never run out of ideas!
The beginning is quite disturbing and graphic, but the special effects were amazing when they filmed it! This movie is also really sad, probably one of the saddest movies I've ever seen, but that doesn't make it bad, at all. I haven't seen many war movies, but I bet Saving Pvt. Ryan and Schindler's List are his best. I am a huge fan of Steven Spielberg films, and this is my favorite of his movies.
What really makes this film good are probably it's acting and special effects. Tom Hanks did an excellent job acting out John Miller in the movie, like always acting as if it was really happening. Everyone else in the film is nearly as good as Tom Hanks, and they all act like real soldiers. The special effects are what bring this movie to the top. The special effects make this movie brutal and realistic, and I've never seen a film that's more graphic.
This movie is a must see. If you love Steven Spielberg films, and war movies, see it!
