Series 1 & 2 were vy gd, actors developed their characters & storylines gd but then came series 3 with several diff actors & sadly, for me anyway, they did not seem to develop as individuals with the result that series 3 was just not as gd.

I think this series is meant to be OTT/ham/caricature acting, it's a light hearted, not to be taken too seriously series which I'm enjoying so far. Nice location, not France tho, I believe it was filmed in Malta but you can't tell.

My review is for the end of series 8 & the complete series 9 with xmas special ie the end of the Bergerac series. The story lines were better, lovely scenery in France but Charlie Hungerford steals the show!

Wanted to watch this for sometime & finally found it free on ITV HUB. This is an Excellent, well acted and enjoyable series with a good, tho not always clear, story line which we watched in one go.

I enjoyed this short tv series which was well acted, a gd story line too.

We preferred this series 3 better than the prev 2 series which concentrated on family. series 3 had gd story in sev locations, gd acting & we watched the whole series in one as so enjoyable.
