Personally, I was hesitant to watch it but am glad I did. The actors are good, the Canadian scenery fantastic, writing ok. I believe the show will only get better and I'm officially a fan! Anyone can find fault in any new show but I'm betting most will enjoy season 1 of Carter.

Oh no, not again!

I was so addicted to the first 6 seasons of Once Upon a Time and really looked forward to season 7 figuring it'd get my attention right away as it did before. BUT......poof!The 'Once Upon a Great' series quickly went up in a puff of smoke from the onset. Same story, spell, etc.,and to put the icing on the cake,many of the new characters are so miscast I find it'll probably be impossible to grow any attachment to them.The Cinderella actress especially has absolutely no resemblance whatsoever to Cinderella; with an irritatingly raspy voice & mannerisms, I find myself only waiting impatiently for her to get off of the screen.Because of the Hook, Rumpelstiltskin, Regina actors and whoever else they might add to season 7's cast I'm going to tough it out for awhile in the hope that MAYBE things will get better. Sorry but 'thumbs down' is all I can advise!

Salvation took a couple episodes to catch my attention but it proved to be worth the wait.Good show, mostly good acting and story lines.The main plot and subplots were well written. The actors were well cast and acted their roles accordingly though a couple of them irritatingly made me hate their characters.I will be hoping for and will look forward to a second season.

Terrible acting,directing,sets, lighting......less than 'B' movie quality in every way.The characters are all nothing but irritating at best. No character has the qualities that make a positive connection with the audience as most series normally have, like even the less-than-good shows do.Instead I found myself feeling repulsed and angry with them, actually hoping and waiting for the next one to be killed off. I was especially elated when the crazy 'Messiah' lady finally dried out like a prune & fell over.I can go on & on about this rotten egg of a wanna-be series but suffice to say IF there is a season 2, I won't be wasting anymore time on it.

So Far, So Bad......

I usually like this kind of stuff but unfortunately so far, its only making me force myself to watch in hopes it gets better.Am only on 2nd episode and almost gave up after the 1st. The acting is mostly bad and the characters irritating, especially Mrs Price. I've never written a mostly negative review but I just can't think of anything positive to say about this show-at least not at this time. Sorry!
P.S. After forcing myself to finish 2nd episode, I can now say I'm done trying. Amazingly terrible writing & acting.There's really no more to say, except: Look for some good re-runs to watch instead!

A Review On The Defenders

I just finished watching The Defenders & was very satisfied with it. The 4 main characters were great to watch when working together, notably the fight scenes. Daredevil, Luke Cage & Iron Fist fought exceptionally well. Jessica Jones was OK but relies too much on throwing people around. The plot was well written & the end of each episode left me eager to see what comes next. The actors all did a fantastic job & fit their character's well.I thought the whole production was put together very well, all in all. Someone commented negatively in a review about Jessica Jones Googling with Adobe Flash, but I don't see why that's a big deal. I watched that scene again & it's fine. In closing I DO recommend this show for everyone.

I am a huge Star Trek fan and over the years have greatly enjoyed all of the Star Trek series as well as the many movies . My Favorite series was & always will be the original Star Trek, with Shatner, Nimoy & the rest.So when I was lucky to find Star Trek Continues, I was absolutely & happily mesmerized with it from the first episode on.The way it picks up & continues on from some of the original episodes is brilliant. The stories are very well written & the actors are top-notch in their roles. Vic Mignogna plays William Shatner's Captain Kirk to perfection & Todd Haberkorn does the same for Leonard Nimoy's Mr. Spock.Everything about this series is purely amazing, especially for the fans who started with the original Star Trek in the 1960's.I look forward to watching the last 3 episodes but will be saddened to see Star Trek Continues come to an end. I recommend this Web series to everyone!
