Young Sheldon (2017)
There is not enough interest for me to warrant watching more
I was looking forward to watching this. I can not think of a new show that had me this excited. What a disappointment.
There is major flaws in this show that I don't think the producers will fix. The first is the actor that plays "Young Sheldon" is going to grow up fast. Also when Sheldon goes off to college are they going to fire the remaining cast?
The 2nd thing I find a problem is that Sheldon in this incarnation is not likable. I want to swat his butt.
The 3rd thing is that the mother is the best character in the show.
The 4th thing is the narration adds nothing.
I think CBS should lean hard on the makers of this show to fix it and fix it fast! If that happens I will try it again!
A Christmas Wish (2011)
Nice film
This television film shows that all of us need help at one time in our lives. It also shows that "It Does Take a Village".
In this film Martha's no good husband, Cal (Bart Johnson), has left her for the last time, emptying her bank account and disappearing without a word. Hopeless, Martha takes to the road and winds up in a motel broke & homeless with 3 kids.
This film sounds like it is a downer but in reality it is a great film to watch. This is a film about how all of us can help anyone at anytime. Small things you think you did can make a huge impact on people.
This film is not far fetched. It is not just people in small towns in the United States that are like this. However in small towns word does get around fast when someone needs any type of help!
A String of Blue Beads (1953)
Why
This is a very special little film. This film is about a string of beads that change the lives of the people who own it or want it. IT also shows that everyone has regrets and at Christmas for people for various reasons.
There is 2 ratings for films on IMDb. There is the one you see and then there is another you need to really look at. This film "A string of Blue Beads" is a prime example. It has an 8.5 IMDb rating. There is also the number of 138. The is the number of IMDb users that have rated the film! If you click on that you will see that the real rating is much higher and its 9.2.
I don't know why IMDb does not count everybody's ratings. That doesn't seem nice.
