Clockmaker (1998)
One of the campiest films of the 90's
Let's get this one on the bottom 100 list as a tribute to its badness. It has everything, cheap special effects, a flimsy plot (That's actually very believable if you happen to be 12 years old) and WAY over-the-top acting. Yep, this movie has it all. The only thing missing is a bad dub for Chinese.
Wow, 10 line minimum comment line? OK.. Here goes. The child actors actually do a good job with what they've been given for an excuse for a script, however it's actually the adults in the screenplay that camp it up to the point of stinkdom on the level of a nursing home after a cabbage dinner. ....

MindCandy Volume 1: PC Demos (2003)
Awesome collection!
This DVD re-awakens the sense of wonder I had in my youth the first time I ran many of the demo's on the first size (Kickin it Old Skool). There are many demo's that are truly remarkable for what they could get out of early (486 and 386) computer equipment and at last those creations are preserved. I got this DVD as a Christmas present when it came out and have enjoyed it many times since then. The interviews are enlightening and well thought out but it's the Demo's that make the DVD a true experience. This is where it all started folks, all the 3d special effects in movies, all the 3d games, this is where it all began. This is what showed the world what is possible. Even now it's hard to find graphic displays that match the true artistry of these early technological pioneers. Most of this may seem rather simplistic now, but back then it was pushing the envelope of technology, squeezing every cycle out of your CPU to render an image. Most of this stuff was groundbreaking. Want to see real-time alpha blending on a spinning 3d cube, done without video card acceleration and with a computer 100 time slower than what most computers are now? If so, buy this DVD.
