Master of None (2015)
Why even have a 3rd season if it going to suck so bad
Nobody wanted this show to turn into this third season, it is boring, and disgustingly pandering. How little Hollywood has their finger on good writing and comedy these days.
Jupiter's Legacy (2021)
Would have been a better story if there was a lot less chloe
It's and interesting show, I enjoy most of it. I like the origin story and current time's juxtaposition.
Unfortunately half the story seems to be spent on a boring, unintriguing character like Chloe. Is it that the actress brings nothing interesting to the roll or was her writing that bad. Hopefully volume two will push her screen time into non-existennce.
The origin story is fun but too slow. So many characters are shoved into scenes without any development or they spend way to long on parts like Sheldon going crazy and to Kansas.
Get rid of Chloe and it will be a great show!
100 Humans (2020)
They didn't even try
The whole thing was set up just to entertain and they didn't even do that well. There was absolutely no real science or limiting of variables matched with an extremely small number of subjects. At best this was just poorly done entertainment playing on peoples biases for views, and at worst this is propaganda. Either way you slice it, it was a trainwreck.
Watchmen (2019)
Sometimes a little fan service goes a long way.
It is as if the wraters are trying to do something peofound without accomplishing it and while the audience just gets bored. This is how shows die.
Almost Family (2019)
Who knew Hollywood would portray women as whiney and irrational...
The only redeeming aspect of this show is that Emily Osment os hot AF despite her acting.
Raising Dion (2019)
Obviously Political in an interesting way
Obviously this story has political indertones, but I think It shows something most people don't get.
First, it was an alright series, and of course kids in shows are very annoying to watcg, so it was good that the focus wasn't on the children actors too much.
The allegorical nature of the film showing the way democrats have treated people of color by manipulating them, telling them they love them, and then consuming them and their families is quite poignant. The scary guys in suits who argue for reason and science actually end up being the good guys is a good picture of the conservative side. Either way, people of color are powerful, can do it themselves and don't need the elitist liberal white knights to act like they are saving them whilst destroying them and their children.
Room 104 (2017)
Room 104
Each episodes has an interesting ending, but the journey to the ending is unbearable. I love the idea of odd endings, you have to make the journey worth it. 90% of the episodes could be cut to a third with the same effect.
Mortal Engines (2018)
Nothing interesting or coherent at all...
You wanted Sci-fi, you hoped for at least half a story and you got nothing. The sci-fi was lame and the cyborg was soooo contrived it didn't even matter. Whoever wrote this should hire someone to pinch his tiny nuts every time he has an idea.
