Miss Match (2003)
Alicia Silverstone shines as Miss Match
I first come across this TV series when they were showing morning repeats in the summer, on channel 4. I always thought Alicia Silverstone was an amazing actress and movie personality, i loved her role in "clueless" and "the crush", i honestly thought i would not like this sort of TV series, but i found that it is warm, charming, funny and light-hearted. i found myself getting up early to watch it every morning i thought Alica Silverstone was so cute and right for the role, i hope they make a second season, as i come to find "Miss Match" is a match made in heaven. Amazing laughter and feel-good moments through out the series gave the show a touch of Sophistication, i really enjoyed watching the show and i believe it's just one of a kind.
The Challenge (2003)
A Challenge ....if you plan to stay awake through this film
speaking as an Olsen fan, i was amazed to find this film was not up to much, i actually thought it would be quite good, considering the Olsen twin's other films and projects. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen deliver us a cheesy, dull film. the storyline dose not even be strong, funny or even exciting, the only people who will like this film is probably people who just like to see the Olsen twins on the TV, i speak as a fan, their other TV projects are actually quite entertaining and fun. in conclusion i found that "The Challenge" was a challenge in itself you you do not wont to fall asleep or be extremely bored. As for Mary-Kate and Ashley- maybe next time
Leprechaun (1992)
Leprechaun: 7/10
i love this movie and i believe it is one of a kind, i say to give it a try and you will be quite surprised, it's funny, scary. witty, and stupid. this movie it quite good to watch, i was most shocked when i heard when was a film series to this. i'm looking forward to watching the second movie and to comment on how it was...
over all i give this movie 7/10 for it's great use of imagination and it' good use of screenplay, i also must mention Jennifer Aniston in this movie she was actually quite good, she is also a very good looking woman as well, other actors in the film are good. I liked how good the kid was in the movie and how the actors worked well together and showed how effective skillful acting can be.
Titanic (1997)
Goes down as the best movie ever made!
Titanic is the best movie ever made, the whole fact that it's not made-up and this really happened years ago brings a exciting feeling of mystery. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio's chemistry brings this w hole movie together, the film would have never been the same without them. i was totally blown away by this movie the first time i was it!, the scenes were spectacular and awesome especially when the ship is sinking and the big scenes come into gear, and the ship eventually snaps in half, what make's this movie even better? there also involves a great deal of love with jack and rose, near the end when rose had to let jack go because he was dead, i was in tears, this film is filled with such great emotion and class. "Titanic" remains for me the greatest film ever made in the world..
Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain (1995)
The greatest Adventure you'll ever have
I absolutely love this movie, it's fun, heartwarming and it's a great movie for all the family, the first time i come across this film on video, when it was on sale at my local video store, the first time as saw it i through it was pure brilliance and fabulous acting from talented people. it's adventurous and just the movie that every kid wants to watch. There's not many movies like this come out today, it's a real joy to watch and in fact, I'm going to give my video of this to my younger cousin's as I'm sure they will enjoy this fantastic film. overall i believe the people behind this movie did a wounderful job and i fell it's one of a kind.
The Joan Rivers Position (2004)
Top notch Entertainment
Joan Rivers delivers an excellent Chatshow for channel 5, it's not just her comic skills that win me over, it's channel 5's great production team behind it.there has been fantastic guest including Jordan & Peter, Jodie Kidd, Jerry Hall and plenty more. i don't think this gets enough credit though, partly because it's late night screening, and strong, offensive comedy, but Joan's a genius i don't know if this series is planning to stay on, but hope it dose,Joan's a legend(well,at 72 she's been in the business longer than anyone else.)she alway's starts the show with joke - very funny -he's one -"im the one who told Paris Hilton, memories are precious-make more home movies" ha-ha. Joan' a absolute treasure, and i hope to see this Faboulous show came back to channel 5 and get the success it deserves. well done channel 5 and Joan rivers! overall i rate this show 9/10
Cruel Intentions (1999)
Cruel Intentions :8/10
Rodger Kumble certainly knew what he was doing when he made this movie, it's fantastic. The movie seems to be based on four main characters Sebastion the dark ruthless one. Annettte the smart beautiful clever one there's Kathryn - the evil dangerous one who play's with live's like cat's play knitting balls. Last but not least there's Cecile the innocent one who'd dragged into dangerous games by Kathryn What i find most best about the movie is it's appeal - even if you looked at the DVD in the shop you'd have to watch it because it's sharp cool appeal and the fact that it's made up of such powerful, mind-blowing characters and wonders how earth you'd manage to put these sort's of people into a story but Rodger dose it and it's shocking as well as slick, there's brilliant acting and terrific screenplay. to anyone who hasn't seen it yet i order get down to your's nearest DVD store and buy it- you want want to rent it as you'll want to watch it again and again.my favourite part of this film is at the end when cecile hands out copie of sebastions diary to everyone and they all learn the truth about how evil she is - super ace revenge (the brilliant song by richard ashcroft plays during this sene) Overall verdict: 8/10
The Ring Two (2005)
the ring twO
I really felt like the ring two let me down. after watching the ring i wanted years in excitement for 2nd movie, always checking up on the internet about release dates and stuff. i sat down in the cinema thinking "i wounder if they will ever be a third, after watching the first scene i felt like the directer and screenplay(by Erhen Kruger) they let the whole audience down the movie did manage to pick up with scenes like Samara grabbing Rachel from the body bag i also like the part were Rachel got lost in the deadly videotape but it let us down when the goblin voice screamed "mommy" from the well and Rachel screamed "im not you're f***ing mommy!" what was that all about? over all i have to say the pest thing about the film was the great actors Naomi Watts did a great job as did David Dorfman if there is ever a ring three i suggest the directer they change the directer back to Gore Verbinski, who did the first movie.even though this Japanese directer invented the whole ring story, he dose not have an American way of thinking.By the end of the movie thought this was just a waste of everybody's time wasn't it!
