Justified: City Primeval (2023)
Love justified... but...
The characters are all good, but... and it's a big but. I can't wrap my head around the Lawyer being his love interest. She's not good looking and she looks pregnant.
Raylan has always been a ladies man, I don't know if his vision is going or he's going for a rebound but it pulls me out of the show every time they are on screen together. His Daughter, who is his daughter in real life has a very grating voice that pulls me out of the show too.
The actor who plays the main Antagonist is one of my favorites but it just isn't the same without Crowder. I'm 6 episodes in and I can forgive the pushed narrative of his love interest(no it's not cause she's black, it's cause she isn't in his league) and his daughter. Timothy Olyphant is one of my favorite actors since I first saw him in go and I will always watch anything and everything he does. Hopefully the next season bring back the Goat of villains.
Him and Crowder are truly; the Batman and joker of TV. Definitely watch it just don't turn it off because of his daughter and the Lawyer.
My Dad the Bounty Hunter (2023)
The future of kids television.
I honestly thought this was a movie. Honestly... it looks like a feature film for the theaters, from the music to the action to the story. Netflix hit this one out of the park! The character and background design is awesome, the casting is perfect. I can't think of one bad thing about it. Yes it is for kids, but it is enjoyable for me as well. I truly believe this is going to be the gold standard for kids tv shows in the future. I don't think any kids shows will match this in the near future... I will be pleasantly surprised if I am wrong. Anyone who says they don't like it, must be looking at it as an adult. Your kids will love it.
The Orville (2017)
More than just a comedy in space
When I first saw this in 2017, I thought it was going to be a comedy but it's more like Star Trek I would go as far to say better. It feels more realistic and because of that, you really get a deep dive into every ship mates backstory. If you haven't seen it and you like sci-fi, you're missing out!
Swan Song (2021)
A beautiful, near perfect movie that really evokes the struggles of death and acceptance
A Man has two lives. The second one begins when he realizes He just has one.
If you knew you had 7 months to live would you sacrifice the finite time with them; to give them you, for an infinitely longer time?
This movie really captures the feelings you would have and ultimately the paramount decision to be completely selfless for the ones you love.
It's beautiful! The acting is amazing, the set design is perfect and the soundtrack is incredible.
If you love movies that make you ponder your life and the time you have left. You will enjoy this movie, cause let's face it, We all fall down eventually.
Lightyear (2022)
Everyone's graduated from critic university during lockdown.
Guys... this is a kids movie. I enjoyed it. Didn't think it was slow paced, but ADHD is on the rise. I really loved the fresh take on buzz and everyone should ignore the reviews and just see for yourself.
The Gray Man (2022)
People are too critical
I don't know if it's cause you were stuck inside for the last four years or you just hate your life... But... Most of you are way too critical. It's a movie, not reality. This movie was a lot of fun to watch. If you enjoy a good action movie with some comic relief, you'll enjoy it. If you are someone that doesn't like fun and your favorite movie is some art house film, this ain't the one. Take it for what it is. A fun action movie.
Snowfall: Other Lives (2019)
If you can't see...
If you can't see the beauty in this episode... I feel sorry for you. Maybe it wasn't what I wanted to see, but it was thought provoking, gorgeous and terrifying.
I blame our short attention spans for treating this finale like a... Wonda...
If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it all the way through.
Malignant (2021)
I thought I was watching a porn
The detective looks like he was pulled out of high school.
The casting is terrible.
It felt like a dumb porn plot but no penetration... unless you count the stabbings.
The people who gave this movie 10 stars are the same ones that wear their face masks below their nose.
Den of Thieves (2018)
I gave this a 7 because of Pablo.
I didn't give it a 10 because; this movie felt like it was going to be when the bad/good guys get away. But it just turn into a heat meets the usual suspects.
All it is, is a story of a dude who backstabs his crew just to get ahead.
They would have got away clean if it weren't for O'shea.
It really should only get 5 stars because Gerard says: wifey. He isn't a believable LA native and it kind of kills it for you.
