House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths (2021)
Average
I am sorry but this is an amateur documentary in which the director tried to dramatize the story by filming unnecessarily long scenes. The editing is also not satisfying since the scenes of the psychiatrists, psychologists, police officers, journalists and the friends/families are short as the timing and the order of them break the continuity. It takes 5 min to read the story with all aspects. A documentary should give something more than the written stuff or should present the written story in a more shocking way and hit the audience by the director's skills. If it is not going to be that way why would i watch a story for 2 hours instead of reading it in 5 min?
Kimetsu no Yaiba (2019)
Bleach Dupe But Still Amazing
Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of the animes that give me the satisfaction that Bleach gives. It shares maaaaany similarities with Bleach such as, shikai, bankai, Gotei 13 divisions (Shinobu's team is like Division 4 and Shinobu (butterfly-poison) is similar to Sui Feng (bee-poison), Shinobu is like a combination of Sui Feng, Yoruichi and Unohana), the taichous, shinigamis, Ichigo (the way Tanjiro uses his physical power first and then when he cannot kill the demon the way he uses his mind, the way he trains himself, his father's powers and his ability to use these powers too), the way the demons behave/act (regrowing organs, magical powers, unique equipments, their numbers), Inoue's sympathy for Ulquiorra (Tanjiro's sympathy for Rui), etc. I know that that there are lots of common things from Japanese culture in animes bu this one has the same scenes/characters. Actually Kimetsu no Yaiba is some kind of dupe but it is still amazing. I can not understand how people can not see those similarities and rate this more than Bleach. Even tough Zenitsu and Inosuke are quite original and funny characters, Bleach characters and their background stories and features are much more instense, strong and original. I do not know the manga but I think Nezukachan's role could be boosted even tough she resembles Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul. The only better thing is that Kimetsu no Yaiba doesn't have any filler episodes or loooong recap sequences. The story flows very quickly increasing the adrenaline levels perfectly but this makes me think as if they slowed it down a little bit there would be more episodes to enjoy. Kimetsu no Yabia also resembles Rurouni Kenshin a lot. I think Kimetsu no Yaiba is some sort of mesh up but it gave me the thing I want, thus I definitely recommend this anime and the movie and I hope that they will film the rest of the manga which is finished. 8.5/10
Noragami (2014)
It is definitely underrated!
I am a huge fan of Bleach, Ruroni Kenshin, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Erased and Another. I have watched many anime series such Tokyo Ghoul, Ajin, Higurashi, Fate/Stay Night, etc. they are all great but none of them gave me the joy and satisfaction that my favorites gave. And then Noragami did!!! The characters and the story resemble Kenshin and Bleach sometimes. I don't understand why Noragami is underrated and ended. It made me laugh, think and feel. Manga is still going on but the tv series aren't which is a huge loss for anime world. I strongly reccommend Noragami to all anime lovers. PS: OVAs/OADs are average.
Manyeo (2018)
A Remake?
The cast, the cinematography, the scenes and the story flow are perfect. But it is still sort of a remake of Elfen Lied.
Asansör (1999)
M. Altioklar did it again...
He's always the same! in his movies there's no sign of intelligence... if there's, the movie is just a copy of Hollywood movies.
Asansor is one of the most boring films i've ever watched. Altioklar was trying to do something, but what??? trying to be interesting? different? cult? wanna confuse our brains and then shock us ? wanna make us think?
During the movie i've always waited for something to happen. i always said to myself "alright a few minutes later, there will be something and i will say 'i can't believe this intelligence' and i will applause all the crew on my feet!". But... till the end of the movie there's just NOTHING!
And Arzu Yanardag is not a good actress, she acts unnatural. she was acted in the beginning of Turkish TV-Series Gumus, Yanardag was very well on these scenes. i wish she can always act like that.
Mustafa Ugurlu is one of the greatest actors in Turkey, but i think he doesn't fit the movie, Ugurlu deserves much better than this.
P.S. : one of my friends said that Asansor is a completely copied movie. I'm not sure but i guess it is copied from an European movie, but i didn't watch. If someone knows the original movie pls write down its name in your comment.
