The Handmaid's Tale: Witness (2019)
"Well, at least it wasn't you"
THE BAD ASS JUNE IS BACK!!! honestly one of the most iconic lines in the whole show.
The Handmaid's Tale: Under His Eye (2019)
It's not bad... but it's go time
We've been pretty patient with this slow season-it's time to give us something new! It's been the same plot each time. I'm trying to have faith in this show. I'm not giving up yet :)
The Boys Are Back - Bandstand: The Broadway Musical (2018)
Filled with Emotions
I admit $20 seemed like a lot, but after seeing the movie, it was well worth it. The whole film was enriched with pure and raw emtions. "Right This Way" (Act I finale) brought me to tears with the last chord, as well as "Welcome Home". I hope this is released on Netflix so more people can experience it.
The Kissing Booth (2018)
Why is this so popular?
Everyone was talking about this movie so I finally decided to watch it. IT USED EVERY SINGLE CLICHE IN THE BOOK. and didn't even try to hide it! It had a lot of potential to be good but damn they could've tried a bit more
The Handmaid's Tale: Smart Power (2018)
Outstanding
This episode, in a word, was refreshing. The thought of the refugees in Canada confronting the commanders behind the horrors of Gilead was a plot I never saw coming. We also saw a glimpse of some possible regrets from Mrs. Waterford. The words never escaped her mouth, but from her soft smile at a glance of just a few people taking on the street, to her crying at the sight of the hatred towards her country's actions, we could see a part of her wished she could go back. As an audience, we started to lose sight of the people in Canada, and began to forget about the relationship between Luke and June. Nick had always known June was married before. But when Nick truly realized that June had a husband who loved her and was not giving up, a part of him was tainted by the fact. Despite this, he put June first and confronted Luke with the letters, putting his best effort to save June and their baby. This episode was a fantastic way to connect the two worlds. All we need now is a backstory on Aunt Lydia! She showed a brief glimpse of her past life when discussing her sisters baby. A backstory on this harsh ruler of the handmaids would show some true perspective on how people of Gilead got where they are.
