Let's give credit where it's due. The performances & Voice acting in this game are really top notch, the actors did one hell of a job and for that they deserve an applause. The Graphics, environmental settings are amazing, but that's pretty much standard nowadays it shouldn't be a major factor anymore. Gameplay is really amazing, you can see it in the details, the game's been made with passion, and for that it deserves some credit. The Story however, yep that's where you f'd up. I mean we get the message, revenge is a fool's game. I don't have a problem with joel dying, it's HOW he dies is what pisses us off ! If joel died defending Ellie in a gunfight or saving her from the infected or something like that we would't have hated the story that much, he would have died honourably, in a good Way. Not like THAT!! that's just disrespectiful, only to give an incentive for going on a revenge path that doesn't even pay off in any way !! My other Problem with the story is what happens to Ellie. I mean she doesn't get one single moment, not one! No redemption, nothing! She loses everything while Abby gets away pretty much unscathed in comparison .. Why ??!

It's not a story like TLOU1, it's a message ... and that's the Problem.

Is the game perfect ? No, it's not. Let's first get the negatives out of the way. -It's would've been better to get Brad, Marvin & Kendo to be more involved in the Story. -Nemesis was by far in my opinion the best designed Villain in the series, he should've had more Screen time/ Sequences.

With that being said, the game was absolutely fantastic. I LOVED Jill & Carlos, the writing was amazing, the characters were well designed. The environmental setting was exactly what a resident evil game needs. Now let's talk about the elephant in the room, the game being too short. It's not actually if you take your time without literally trying to beat it as fast as humanly possible "apart from going for the trophies of course" .. I took my time on Hardcore and beat it in 9 hours, which is actually pretty good for a non-RPG game. So putting aside the negatives mentioned, the game is amazing. Thanks devs!
