Meet Cute (2022)
Kaley Cuoco is a beast!
Kaley Cuoco perfectly brought out every emotion on every part of her messed up journey. When we first see her, you couldn't tell if she was feeling anything else other than joy and excitment in meeting Pete. The nervousness, the second guessing, lack of words, pretty much everything in a first meeting, and after we find out what's really going on, all you could see in her is depression, anxiety and pure sadness. The Pete casting is quite questionable cause of the chemistry but maybe that's what they were going for - Two mismatched people finding a common ground behind their traumas. Overall it's a nice watch. Funny, edgy, different.
How I Met Your Father (2022)
Not that bad.
People just need to calm down and watch this show with an open mind and stop trying to desperately match it to HIMYM. If anything the first few episodes of HIMYM were shaky as well, let's just give this a chance.
Ready or Not (2019)
Samara Weaving carried the movie
I hadn't watched any Samara Weaving movies before this one and I'm glad. She set the perfect tone to the entire movie. Her growth is seen throughout the acts. I would actually let some of the plot holes slide with a performance like that.
Reflections (2020)
Sarah Hassan to the world.
Yet another superb performance from Sarah Hassan, which is no surprise by now. Concept might not be thaaat unique from a couple of movies we've seen but it doesn't take anything from a well written, executed, and captivating short piece like this.
Le jeu (2018)
Underrated plot twist
I think people don't really understand the plot twist. All of the secrets are all real but the only difference is they didn't come out, and the only people who know about them are the holders of the secrets AND US, THE AUDIENCE. That's pretty intriguing and dark if you think about it. We watch them all go along as they think they are happy and in their "perfect" relationships and all we have in our minds is "Oh poor girl." "Poor guy." "Only if they knew. "
FBoy Island (2021)
Quite enjoyable... Until the last FIVE MINUTES
I love Nikki Glaser. I think she's extremely funny and charming and she brought some life into the show. The rest of the it wasn't that hard to watch until the finale where they decide to change the rules and screw a guy who just played the game the right way. I wonder how they plan on making a sequel to this. There's no turning back. I doubt anyone is gonna wanna watch it again.
Plan B (2019)
Amaizing lead acts.
Sarah Hassan has really grown into what could easily be one of the best Actresses in Kenya. She's beautiful, charismatic, and absorbed the role real well. The script and story line were not that unique but nevertheless still entertaining.
