Stockholm Syndrome: The Movie
The only reason I watched this was because of my girlfriend, and I'd like 2 hours of my life back.
The plot is basically that the male character kidnanapps, a woman who he has a crush on, sexually assaults her several times and then, because he saves her from drowning and her ex-boyfriend is a dick, she falls in love. Are you serious? He wants to keep her locked up for a year completely isolated from her family and friends and just hopes that the Stockholm syndrome will do the rest. The male character is the definition of a creepy pervert and quite frankly, if this was real life and not a "movie" a person like him would most like be a convicted sex offender.
I have seen far better acting in YouTube videos. The female character, at the start of the movie, is presented as a strong no nonsense business woman and as soon as she is kidnapped she turns into a teenage girl. And her complete character is destroyed. The male character is what you would get if you gave a fifte-year-old boy who never saw girl naked a sixpac and a lot of money. He sees the female the way a child sees a toy in the toy store his mom won't buy him. His arrogance a ego is what mature people laugh at when someone tries to act like that. I can't see how the things he does can be socially acceptable.
Don't understand how women enjoy this and how this is a triology.
Dracula Untold (2014)
A pleasant surprise
For some reason, I expected a mediocre, happy ending, fantasy and after 10 minutes I thought I had the movie and the plot all figured out. But I didn't, and I'm glad that I was wrong because it was far better than I believed it would be.
Luke Evans really sold his role to me, the story of him making a "deal with the devil" to save his family and his people was strong and compelling. The way things turn out for him, the fact that he had to kill his wife to save their son and having to become a "monster" for ever, makes the movie and his character even better.
The way it ended I really hoped the story would continue especially since it did quite well at the box office but six years later it seems it won't.
Pól wieku poezji pózniej (2019)
It takes people who care to make something special
This film proves that even with a small budget and limited resources, if given to people who love the Witcher and the work of Mr. Andrzej Sapkowski and CD Projekt RED and are passionate about their project, you can have awesome film. This fan film by it's quality is in my opinion superior to the Netflix adaptation. You can see that all the people care about making a good representation of the world of the Witcher. When you look and the costumes, building's ect. you can say that it looks like you imagine a medieval, fantasy world. It has the right feel. Also the soundtrack is amazing, similar to the Witcher 3 one but unique in it's way.
The actors are professionals and preform well. Story is solid, and even was a few Easter eggs of the players of the Witcher games. All around a great example of a fan film done right. I hope the people behind it will continue with their amazing work and in the future will bring us more for the world of the Witcher.
Kvarteto (2017)
The worst piece of cinema I have ever seen
I don't know where to begin on why I didn't like it. Characters are boring, the plot is stupid. It feels like it was written in 10 minutes on a toilet by a child. I never thought I would wanna leave the cinema before the movie ended but I just couldn't bear watching and listening. Luckily I forgot most of it with time. No even your worst enemy deserves to see it.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Best film in 2019 so far and nothing will probably beat it
Going in to see this film I had high expectations and I was not disappointed. The star was slower but don't let that scare you away, trust me it's worth it. For me definitely the best Bratt Pitt performance I saw (I didn't see all his film's to be fair). DiCaprio was also very and so was the rest of the cast. If your looking for a great film, you found it. Probably my favorite Tarantino film.
Trick 'r Treat (2007)
So bad that it is kinda good
If you want to see this film go in with zero expectations and you can laugh at the cringe that is this "film".
Pulp Fiction (1994)
Overrated
In my opinion one of the most overrated movies of all time. This is the worst Tarantino movie out there, I dont understand the movies popularity. Its just so bad and it doesnt make any sence. But on the other hand the acting is good and Samuel L Jackson is as good as you can expect. I guess it is just not for me and maybe you will like it.
