Running for Grace (2018)
Decent
From what I have seen, I am watching it now, the line deliveries from characters could have been stronger, if that is the right word. The delivery can be awkward. I wonder if this might have worked as a longer movie to flesh out the characters and motivations, etc. And I would have liked to have seen more of Joe and Doc's home life.
(Again, this is from what I have seen thus far and this is my first watch)
The Golden Girls (1985)
Classic Everyone Should Watch
I was born a year before the show ended in 1992, so my first introduction to The Golden Girls was through reruns that were on Lifetime that I would watch with my granny. I watched here and there since then such as Hallmark. Now I'm on my umpteenth rewatch on Hulu. It's different now with since Betty White passed away so I have a feeling certain episodes will be sadder than others, especially the final episode.
Everyone should watch this show at least once or twice.
Dopesick (2021)
Frustrating & eye-opening.
I am watching this, waiting for the last episode. I have found myself watching this and screaming, and booing at characters and situations presented.
I think everyone should watch this at least once.
Sweet Girl (2021)
Needed More
I have watched this movie twice today. The story needed more in it and could have been a two part movie, to flesh everything out.
It was a little hard to follow at times.
Rebecca (2020)
EH
I just finished watching this. The background looks gorgeous but it doesn't carry the same meaningfulness as the 1940 version, which I argue, captured what everything in spirit. I haven't read the book, I have only seen the 1940 version. This was not as a good to be honest. Felt too pretty, not dark and atmospheric enough for me.
The Handmaid's Tale (2017)
A little to slow
I am currently making my way through this series. Season one was depressing and the series overall would have worked better has a limited series.
