Unfinished
29 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It stops at 2 episodes with no conclusion. What were the test results, were they able to free him or did all the evidence prove guilt? I'm now googling the answers to try and find out what happened next. The 2 episodes take you on a journey, get you engaged in the case, but then nothing. During it new techniques are discussed that weren't available at the time but that's it. Were there supposed to be more, did the answers mean that the case couldn't be studied any more. I finished it with so many unanswered questions about the case that I would have been better off having not watched it at all.

Misfiring on every cylinder
21 September 2023
They really couldn't care less anymore. It's not about cars, it's not about driving, I'm not sure they know what it's about, all they know is that for some reason unbeknown to anyone we'll all watch it just to see how disappointing it'll be.

The cars don't make any sense, anyone with any basic understanding of physics will know most of it is ludicrous. Standard police cars faster than modified super cars. The stunts just get more and more embarrassing with each instalment, not better or more spectacular.

It's time they called it a day, but they won't because I'm going to watch the next one no matter how much worse it'll be.

Urgh
25 October 2022
To be completely honest, everyone in this doesn't seem to be best pleased to share a room with him. What seems to be important is what is not said rather than said and there's a feeling of underlying tension when you see how the artists currently are.

I'm sure there are other versions of the truth that should be heard. Standing there being encouraged by a man who made billions off of your talent and who doesn't seem to have any appreciation for those people is quite narcissistic, but then again would he have gotten there if he wasn't

Not a good documentary, not a good advert for Bad Boy and not a good use of 90 minutes.

It's time to let it go
14 July 2022
A prequel, released 15 years after the original. However it has the same people, playing the same characters and that sets out how confusing it is to understand the timeframe and from there it just gets worse as the story unfolds changing storylines from other films in the series.

What is going on!
12 July 2022
I loved the first season, it was quirky and amusing. However I've had to change my score significantly downwards since persevering through the second!

The second season is unwatchable! The sound is so bad it goes from whispering where have to turn the volume up having missed parts to blowing my speakers off the walls.

A Difficult Watch
13 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I liked Juice Wrld and his music. This documentary added a completely different perspective to me. I don't think there was a single scene where he wasn't on drugs with so many enablers around him and not one person looking out for him. It was sad to watch someone slowly kill themselves on screen. Having watched it I just don't get the viewpoint that he was such a good lyricist. Once you strip out the production and auto tune his voice and flow is actually quite poor and this documentary exposes this.

It's a whole lot of fun with prizes to be won

The Hunger Games meets Pat Sharps Fun House. Loved it and made me think about all those childhood games I played. As with most films that have been dubbed some of the characters are on the eccentric side, but that's something you have to expect.

This was either one of the greatest dramas I've seen or the biggest load of rubbish and I just don't know.

More Reverse Remake than Sequel
6 March 2021
I was looking forward to more Eddie and Arsenio adventures as let's be honest this is what the film should be about, but they are secondary characters and without them it's just a mediocre affair. Sad really as it doesn't take the story anywhere and it's a poor reverse remake of the original rather than a sequel. So many legendary actors making cameos that you are just willing it to be good!

Straight to video
23 January 2021
There used to be a saying 'straight to video', that's now been updated to 'straight to Netflix'. The magic formula for films is still proving elusive.

Awfully addictive
8 October 2020
Ok, so I was so stuck on how to rate this, is it a 1, is it a 10! It is that trashy that I've no idea if it's the best thing I've ever seen.

I had to go for the low rating as after a few episodes it just looks so scripted and fake that you can't believe the conversations going on or the dynamics between the staff. When you go onto IMBD and see most are failed actresses it starts to make sense, it's like they've dusted off the scripts to the Hills and then reshot it in pretty houses rather than fashion stores

There's a spark missing
16 July 2020
There was something so gripping about the original that it would be the show my Dad and I would watch together in silence trying to put all the pieces together. This version just doesn't have that appeal, even at an hour long it seems drawn out and repetitive going back over the same points again and again. More effort could be put into delving into the various stories and creating a narrative

Why oh why did this get cancelled!
21 June 2020
This was one of the best shows I've seen. A modern twist on a classic but still with the story of what made the original so popular. I was really looking forward to how it was going to develop and was shocked when I heard a second series wouldn't be coming

Pfft
15 March 2020
Oh Disney why do you do these things to yourself. There was just no emotion, in the CGI, the actors voices, even the musical score felt soulless. There was just something missing that the animated version gave, and with Disney not looking to do any future animated films this feels like the beginning of the end for timeless classics

You know what you're going to get, and it's great!
19 January 2020
What we have here is a simple formula, some of the greatest actors to ever grace gangster films doing what they do best and act in a gangster film. This has and will always be my favourite genre as beyond the violence there is always something admirable to be seen in the characters, the code they work to, the importance of family and respect and friendships.

More than meets the eye
20 December 2019
Yes it's cheesy, yes it's not great, but it is the Transformers film everyone would have wanted from the start! Michael Bay tried too hard and failed by loading his films with over the top CGI and never giving us the characters we loved from the original cartoons, not just in graphical design but connection.

It's Lost the plot
20 September 2019
This started off soooooo well I was hooked, the idea of a new character each episode showing the interlinking relationships and dynamics was starting to build into something interesting. Then it just dropped off suddenly, it's as if they'd spent all the budget in the first few episodes and got a whole new team in to finish off the series. The characters are just really getting on my nerves now with no redeeming features, with two episodes left to watch I'm hoping they put the show out of its misery

Ironic Hypocrisy
3 August 2019
The irony in this whole programme is that the journalist from the propaganda machine of the past 100 years tries to argue against the propaganda machines of the past 10 years, without recognising how they've tried to influence and manipulate readers views!

Two episodes too long
19 April 2019
This could be brilliant, but once you're gripped into the story it diverts to other suspects and alternative narratives in an awkward way not intertwined with the flow of the story. You sit just wishing these to hurry up as they offer nothing to the story being told.

Fails to really delve
27 March 2019
To be able to operate at these levels of deception takes more than a bit of secrecy and hiding rooms. The manipulation, evangelistic vision of oneself and lies give only a snapshot of someone who has no concept of the devastation they have caused people. This documentary had the opportunity to be so much more but fails to really dive into the person who created the mirage.

It's amazing to watch and try to understand the network that must have been created around this man to allow him to continue in what he has been doing and still does. The denials of the American public and manipulation. Absolutely shocking documentary

Too short for a meaningful story
22 July 2018
Just felt too short for any story to actual be told. So many characters and 30-60 minutes more could have brought their stories to life rather than just introduce them and move along. What was there was brilliant and this was heading to be an 8-9 until I realised I was 1:15 through and the build to the end was coming

Why have you cancelled it!
8 July 2018
There are times in our lives when we just scratch our heads pondering tv network decisions! This is a brilliant show giving a twist on a classic with such interweaving storylines to the original and a modern take.
