Leopard in the Snow (1978)
A weepy with a happy ending
First things first there is a vhs of the film i have a copy , Though Keir Dullea takes the starring role the late Jeremy Kemp is the stronger actor.
Bittersweet throughout with twists and turns Susan Penhaligon is good actress having to hold on to win her desire.
Overall a nice movie but the Anne Mather novel works better.
Robin Hood: Ghosts of Sherwood (2012)
If this is a movie then i was born on Mars
Every movie usually has something to like or hunt out for .
This does not have anything on offer other than to beg stop play mode.
What on earth was Kane Hodder doing in this ?
The dvd box in 3D you want to like but is dashed shortly whem you place in your entertainment device . Rubbish.
Silent Running (1972)
A film to watch and remember
Is Silent Running so sad its that good ? it looks that way forget the noisy noncense of Star Wars Vol 55 pt 4 , this movie wipes the floor with Star Wars.
Bruce Dern is always good in movies and he is at his best here.
When you watch this film you will feel sad because one day it could easily happen a Sci Fi film yes , but with a warning .. look after your planet there is only one , when its gone no more ever.
The UFO Incident (1975)
A movie to get you thinking
Its often said the film was not released for home video, but it was and i have a genuine copy cat number, vha 1376.
James Earl Jones gives a truly memorable preformance in acting the part of Barney Hill , Estelle Parsons is simply exellent as Betty.
I believe the events happened , view this film and then say its not true , you will find that very hard after watching this splendid tv movie.
Lifespan (1975)
Eurocinema little gem
Lifespan is a paced euro movie that sets your brain thinking after you have watched the end credits. Shot in the Netherlands with some very nice location shooting locations , perhaps because i live in Europe and know Amsterdam a bit i can relate to the film more.
Director Sandy Whitelaw seems with this movie offers Klaus Kinski in a more solid more relaxed part playing the Swiss Man with that European style himself asking and wanting and is prepared to pay for it.
This movie has a fresh brisk pace rather like a Autumn morning in Amsterdam Centrum.
Beyond the Stars (1989)
Sad at the end
Some people seem to thumbs down movies like eating candy.
Martin Sheen , always good to see in any movie.
Stick with this film and imagine yourself with a beer in your hand looking at the moon and thinking how far away from Earth when you were there.
