One Punch Man: Wanpanman: The Resistance of the Strong (2019)
Very Disappointing
I know they're trying to create a more engaging story but the fact that this season up to this point Saitama has basically been doing nothing but walk around is very disappointing. I get the angle that it would be boring if he was in most of the fights but you don't create tension by hiding Saitama from most of the show. This episode has made me want to stop watching. Unlike others I did not enjoy the final 15 seconds as he should've been there 10 minutes ago. Why is he even a hero if he doesn't notice half the city or half the stadium he's in is being destroyed? Sairyu had more hero in him this episode than Saitama all season.

Disappointed
This series starts really well. The first six episodes were really great. I thought I was in for one of my favourites to be kdramas. But alas. The story started quickly descending into a pity party. To make it worse it was a pity party in the guise of drama or a 'challenge' in the drama except these challenges were not only contrived but they beat you to death with it. They want you to feel sorry for the lead girl so bad. I get not having confidence. Everyone goes through that. But to not have confidence that you sabotage your own relationship without giving the other person a chance to at least understand or help remedy the situation, the story would rather the characters adopt self deprecating and matyr syndrome where they hurt themselves in order to 'save' the other person who doesn't even need saving. What a bunch of bull. The story ruined this for me and it made me so angry I don't think I'll ever finish this soap. If you're into depressing self deprecating characters maybe you'll like this show. This show just makes me angry when I just want to enjoy a show. If you're making a depressing story at least make it justified not someone ruining their own chances and I'm expected to feel bad for them.

Light & Fun
I don't understand how this has such a low rating for what it is. Yes some of the jokes and acting directions can be a bit out there but its still a really fun and enjoyable series. If you're not looking for a serious drama but are looking for a fun, slightly cliche but great series, I'd recommend.

Perfect interlude
This drama for me is perfect as an interlude i.e. When you're looking for something short and sweet. It's kinda in the rom-com genre where it's a predictable story but it's fun and sweet. Don't expect a full blown with ups, downs, history and all the drama in between. It's more like a long movie. It hooks you in, tells you a story and before you know it it's over. I found it perfect because it's a nice break from the overly serious series and the over the top K dramas. It's serious in its own way but fun throughout and you won't regret watching if your looking for a light hearted sweet mini series.

Good drama
Good series. Its admittedly a bit serious but it's funny and heart-warming in certain places. It will however break your heart many times. I only removed two stars because I feel the ending could have been better conveyed. I don't think the ending was bad or that the events should change but the delivery could've been better to at least soothe the ending so it doesn't feel as cruel and abandoning.

Confused ending
I get that this last episode was a conclusion so they couldn't make it thrilling, but the story was really dull and they didn't focus on the things that mattered after the game ends. They went on with storylines like they're trying to teach a lesson but not in a very engaging or interesting way. He let's the brother of a girl he clearly cared for in the game stay in an orphanage for a year because he's depressed. They really screwed over his daughter because as much as he kept talking about her, he barely got over his guilt to take care of her. He also abandons her for revenge or whatever justice he is seeking. I may be bitter but he doesn't deserve custody of his child if those are his priorities.

An annoying Will they/Won't they
I couldn't finish this one. I only got to episode 10 but decided it was too frustrating. The script writer seems to think that back and forth will they/ won't they is what will keep us interested but instead it's what put me off. The pinging back and forth for me was very immature and childish. At some point I wished all the love interests would just disappear and never see each other again. I hated the main characters. They're like high schoolers stuck in grown up bodies. 90% of the problems in this series could be solved with proper communication. The main characters are selfish and all seem to base their lives and self worth on recognition from the other people. The main guy's parents deserved better. He's just a spoilt child who whines about everything.

Mostly good.
Honestly I really liked this show. It's very fresh and intriguing. The characters are fleshed out well and seem to have consistency. The only opposition I have to this one is that towards the end the writer lets philosophy take over the story and it felt a bit like you were being lectured to than watching someone's life. Otherwise the show is good. 👍🏾

Emotional roller-coaster
This is the BEST Korean drama I have watched. It's a bit long but I enjoyed it so much. Never has a drama made me so happy and cry with the actors so much. It felt like I was a participant in all their emotions, troubles and achievements. Story wise, all the characters are human i.e. they have flaws, insecurities and make mistakes we all make. I never felt like the writers twisted story lines just for drama. The characters are weird and everyone's story was well fleshed out and not lacking. Very very strong series. Well done

Good story with a slight twisting of reality
This series is actually not bad. It fits into the regular B+ K-drama but it falls into the writing mishap of bending believable story lines to create tension and drama. There are areas where the characters don't communicate important information to each other when it is clearly relevant to them and it annoyed me to the point I almost stopped watching. I like the main guy (mostly from Kang Chul) but the writers wrote him into do-it-all superman just without powers. Having just watched Reply 1988 (amazing drama), this series just failed to match their 'gifts' with reality. Unlike 1988, human vulnerability in this series is the cool type where it aims to be endearing rather than show insecurities we all have. It doesn't make you feel the actors emotions as 1988 did. All I felt was intense rage as stupid plot points removed me from the immersion of the story. If you don't take this series seriously, you'll enjoy it as the deviation from regular, expected human interaction won't be a negative.
Black Mirror: Striking Vipers (2019)
I loved it.
I don't know why people are saying this isn't black mirror. Black mirror never laid a claim over what it was. People are mad because the episode isn't scary or nightmarish but it is a damn good story if you excuse the fact it isn't a thriller. The acting was excellent as usual and if you don't have expectations about what this is, you'd love this story too.
