The Lion King (2019)
New movie, new generation
I did not know why a lot of spoil comment for this movie. Back 30 year ago, the Lion King movie is fantasy, remarkable, and remember able movie. Now Disney made with live action. After I watched the Lion King (2019), I still remember the first the lion king movie. The new one is the same the old one, so it is predictable, less emotion and CGI technology is still new today. The song of the movie is the same and always great part; However, the movie is less of emotion because real animal can not sing and talk to each other. Your pet or my dog can not talk to owner. For the new version, some line is better. It still gave me the emotion when I watch the movie "run Simba run". I did not compare the old one and the new one because the old one was so successful movie. If I have not watch the old one about 30 year ago, I will go for this movie which is the new one. We are grown and the movie is grown too. The new Lion King is the new and remade for new generation. The new kid would not want to watch the old one which was a 30 year ago so the new Lion King is still the best for new generation. I think parent should bring the kid to watch the new Lion king movie. The Lion king was the best in my time, and it will also the best for new generation today.
The Mustang (2019)
Touching story
I know so much good review for this movie, but I still write my review because this movie touched my feeling. The main character is Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts. He is star in this movie. He had several Oscar nominated foreigner language films. The movie of course about the mustang. The story begins at actually prison in Nevada. The most isolate prison in USA. The violent inmates allow to train the wild mustang that is program for help prison inmates to training themselves before they come back to their outside world. In 2013, The prison name was Schoenaerts who is violent and isolated by himself and he is deeply trouble man and wants nothing by left alone. In the movie, he says "I am not good at people". He is also violent person and depression man. He hurt his wife and sentenced into prison. After couple of time, he played with Masquis who the wild horse was. The chief of training horse program (Bruce Den) let him into training horse program. After a lot of action, emotion and sacrifice through training with Masquis, he realized about himself and purpose to live because he also has daughter to take care.
This was a one of my favorite movies with touching stories of inmate's prison. I think you should watch for yourself and feeling it.
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
I love this spider man
I did not expect about this movie at all when I watched this movie; however, the movie was amazing. I would watch this movie again due to the story of this movie. The story of this spider man was surprise and I did not see it coming. First, the movie introduced to new character who was Mysterio. Mysterio and spider man's help was to defeat the monster element. Turn out, Mysterio was the evil man. He used spiderman to get the Tony Stark's advantage technology for his personal gain. The story of this spiderman was conclude by a cliffhanger which no one saw it coming. I love this movie and I recommend it.
Men in Black: International (2019)
Not great movie but entertain you and your family
The men in back: international is the new movies. I have two main Thor character. The agent H is Chris Hemsworth and the agent M is Tessa Thompson. Two characters act well with each other. It is not fantasy movie, but It will entertain you. The movie does not have romantic part between the main character or any nude part for both characters. Therefore, it is a good movie for family or even kids. The movie is alien, action, adventure, explosions, and fight scene movie. Your family and your kid should prepare for action movies, but it is not bloody. The one thing disappoint about the movie is the plot. The movie plot is so simple and like the old men in black movie. The agent H is expert agent in the movie and the agent M is amateur agent. They form in group and solve for Hive case. The Hive want to have the powerful crystal star weapon to destroy the universe. In the end, both agents retrieve the powerful weapon and destroy the Hive. The movie plot like those old movies in the past but it still entertain with explosion scene and alien movie. I rate 8/10 this movie.
War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)
Third movie is bad movie
I was first reluctant to see this film when my friend invited me but after seeing that it has a whopping 8.1 rating and remembering that the previous films were quite enjoyable I was prepared to see a truly good movie. I was incredibly disappointed. The first 10-20 minutes were...pretty good...but then it all went downhill from there and THERE IS NO WAR IN THE MOVIE AT ALL! In fact, this film could easily have finished in 1 hr and 30 minutes. Not a second more. The third movie is bad.
Two years after the U.S. military was called to fight off an increasingly intelligent and dangerous tribe of apes, led by the chimpanzee Caesar, are attacked in the woods by a Alpha-Omega, led by a ruthless Colonel. Alpha-Omega also has in its service apes they call "donkeys" that had previously followed Koba (the monkey). During the attack, the Alpha-Omega militants are met by heavy ape resistance, and several soldiers, including a "donkey" gorilla named Red, are captured by the apes. Caesar arrives and orders the four human soldiers to be released, with a message to the Colonel that he did not start the war, and that he desires peace between the humans and apes. Caesar orders that Red is to be imprisoned for his crimes, but before he can be imprisoned, Red escapes, injuring an albino gorilla named Winter. Soon after, Caesar's son Blue Eyes and his lieutenant Rocket return from a journey to find a safe haven for the apes. They report that they have found a place across the desert that is perfect for the clan. Winter, still frightened from the soldiers' attack, wants to leave immediately, but Caesar does not think they are prepared to leave so soon. That night, a group of Alpha-Omega soldiers, led by the Colonel, infiltrates the apes' home behind a waterfall and the Colonel kills Caesar's wife, Cornelia, and Blue Eyes. Winter cannot be found and he betray the apes.
Leaving his younger son, Cornelius, in the care of Blue Eyes' mate, Lake, Caesar departs to exact revenge on the Colonel for the death of his family. He is accompanied by some apes, while the other apes head for the desert. During their journey, the apes encounter a soldier living in an abandoned village and Caesar shoots him when he reaches for his rifle. Caesar, Maurice, Luca, and Rocket search the dead soldier's home. Maurice discovers the soldier's daughter who is apparently unable to speak. Maurice befriends and adopts the girl, giving her a small rag doll.
Along the way Caesar's party encounters Winter in an Alpha-Omega camp on the beach. He tells Caesar's group that the Colonel has departed for a location referred to as the "border." Winter tries to call out to the Alpha-Omega soldiers to save him, but Caesar and the others killing him. Caesar begins to worry that he is becoming like Koba by killing his fellow apes and seeking revenge. While following the soldiers to the border, they discover some soldiers who have been shot and left for dead. Their examination of a soldier who survived reveals that he, like the girl, cannot speak. Later the group meets Bad Ape. Bad Ape reveals that the human soldiers are encamped at the border.
When the group arrives at the border, Luca is killed protecting Caesar from an Alpha-Omega patrol, angering Caesar and causing him to proceed alone. Caesar discovers the rest of his ape clan has been captured, and are being forced to build a wall with no food or water; he is captured by Red. The Colonel reveals to Caesar that the Simian Flu virus has mutated and now causes humans who becoming mute and regressing back to a primitive state. Caesar deduces that the Colonel is barricading himself in the facility to fend off remnants of the U.S. Army from the north who are coming to execute him because he favors massacring any infected humans, including his own son, to stop the spread of the virus. Caesar is commended by the Colonel for his intelligence, and the Colonel explains that he is fighting a "holy war" for the survival of mankind.
While Caesar is in the camp, the mute girl sneaks into the facility to give Caesar food, water, and her rag doll. To prevent Nova from being discovered, Rocket allows himself to be captured as a diversion. The next day, the Colonel comes to see if Caesar is still alive, and confiscates Nova's doll upon discovering it. Together Caesar and Rocket are able to work out a means of escape via an underground tunnel that leads out of the facility. Maurice and Bad Ape use the tunnel to rescue the apes, and Caesar orders the others to escape while he goes to confront the Colonel. As the facility comes under attack by the northern army, Caesar reaches the Colonel. As Caesar is about to kill the Colonel, he realizes that Nova's doll has infected the Colonel with the mutated virus, rendering him unable to speak. Caesar puts down his gun and spares the Colonel, who then uses the gun to commit suicide rather than become a primitive.
During the battle between Alpha-Omega and the northern army, the escaping apes come under fire from Alpha-Omega. Caesar attempts to attack Alpha-Omega forces from behind, but is shot with a crossbow by Preacher. Red saves Caesar's life by killing Preacher with a grenade launcher, and is executed by an Alpha-Omega superior as a result. Caesar blows up a large fuel tank, causing a cascade of explosions which destroy the Alpha-Omega facility and allow the northern army to win the battle. However, the army is subsequently devastated by an avalanche, which Caesar and the other apes, carrying Nova, survive by climbing nearby trees.
The remaining apes depart the facility and cross the desert to find an oasis. Caesar have his wound and slowly and silently succumbs to his wound and die.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)
Movie from Johnny Depp alway is great
I loved it! Yes, it is made for the family audiences but it really kept me going for two hours! It is an action filled adventure on the high seas from the times when Britannia ruled the waves. It has it all! Action, pirates, sailors, ghosts and what not, but it really is entertaining. I am a huge fan of Pirates of Caribbean franchise. I was desperately waiting for this 5th installment. I watched it in IMAX 3D. The movie is full of actions, adventures and there are a lot of surprises and you will not keep your eyes away even for a min. This franchise has some of the perfect special effect. I love this movie.
In first movie, 12-year old Henry Turner boards the Flying Dutchman to inform his father, Will Turner, that the mythical Trident of Poseidon is able to break his curse and free him from his ship, and of his intent to seek Jack Sparrow's help to find it.
Nine years later, Henry works on a British Royal Navy warship. While chasing a pirate ship, Henry realizes they are sailing into the Devil's Triangle. The captain dismisses his concerns and has Henry locked up for attempting mutiny. Upon entering the Triangle, they come across a shipwreck, and are attacked by Captain Salazar and his undead crew, who slaughter everyone on board except Henry. Salazar sees that Henry is searching for Jack Sparrow, spares his life and asks him to tell Jack Sparrow that death is coming his way.
In Saint Martin, a young woman named Carina Smyth has been sentenced to death for witchcraft because of her knowledge of astronomy and horology. Carina later meets Henry, who is awaiting execution for his actions aboard the ship, and says she knows of a way to find the Trident. Carina helps him escape, but is caught by the British Army.
Disheartened after losing his crew, Jack goes to a local tavern and gives away his compass to pay for his drink. By forsaking the compass, however, he unwittingly unleashes Salazar and his crew from the Devil's Triangle. Shortly after, Jack is caught by the British Army. As he and Carina are about to be executed, Henry helps them escape with help from Jack's crew, and together they sail away on Jack's ship, the Dying Gull. Carina reveals a map that will lead them to the Trident, and reluctantly decides to team up with Henry and Jack in order to achieve their goals. Barbossa meets with Salazar and offers to help find Jack in exchange for sparing his fleet. Salazar explains to Barbossa that he and his crew once sailed the seas hunting and killing pirates, and had nearly cleansed the seas of piracy before they ran into a young Jack Sparrow, who tricked them into sailing into the Devil's Triangle, where Salazar and his crew were cursed to remain undead.
When Salazar's ship finds the Dying Gull, Jack, Henry and Carina escape on a rowboat while the crew remains on board to cause a distraction. Salazar and his crew chase Jack, but upon arriving at a small island, Jack realizes Salazar's ghost crew can't step on land. Barbossa arrives at the island and allies with Jack, restoring the Black Pearl, which had been trapped in a bottle in Jack's possession, to its original size which is a huge pirate ship. With Jack's compass, which he obtained from the sea-witch Shansa, Barbossa takes command of the ship and lets Carina navigate them to the island. During the trip, Jack and Barbossa realize that Carina is Barbossa's long lost daughter. Barbossa tells Jack that he left her at an orphanage with his diary to make sure she lived a better life, never imagining that he would see her again.
The Pearl narrowly escapes a British Navy warship, which is destroyed by Salazar's ship. Jack and Salazar's crews clash. Meanwhile, Jack and Carina manage to activate the island's magic, which parts the ocean to reveal a hidden path along the ocean floor. Salazar captures Henry and possesses his body to pursue them. Jack and Carina locate the trident, but Salazar intervenes, fighting Jack and seizing the Trident. Henry, now free of Salazar, realizes that destroying the Trident will break all curses upon the sea and shatters it, returning Salazar and his crew to life. As the divided sea slowly caves in, the Pearl attempts to rescue Jack, Henry, Carina, and Barbossa, lowering the ship's anchor into the narrowing trench to pull them to safety, but—still intent on killing Jack—Salazar grabs the anchor as well. Carina notices a tattoo on Barbossa's arm, matching the cover of her diary, and realizes that he is her father. After proclaiming his love for her, Barbossa sacrifices himself to take down Salazar and his crew and save Carina and the others. Following Barbossa's death, Carina changes her last name to Barbossa.
Sometime later, Henry is joined by Carina, as they watch his father finally set foot on land again, no longer bound to the Flying Dutchman. As Henry and Carina kiss, Will is reunited with his wife Elizabeth. Watching from the deck of the Pearl, Jack sails away with his crew, opening up his mystical compass to reveal their next heading.
Okja (2017)
Emotion best movie
Bong Joon Ho is without a doubt one of the top five or ten working directors today. Being a fan of the director's work, I built this movie a bit too much up in my head. But honestly -- it delivered on everything. It's funny, it's sad; there are happy moments, and deep emotional ones. But despite the drama and comedy going on in this, it also addresses problems going on in our world, and really made me think about these issues. I wasn't expecting to like this very much, but I loved it. The movie is success.
In 2007, Lucy Mirando becomes CEO of the Mirando Corporation, succeeding her controversial grandfather, her father and her cruel twin sister Nancy. She announces that they have been breeding a special kind of superpig. Twenty-six of the best pigs will be sent to locations around the world, and ten years later, one will be crowned the winner.
In 2017, a young girl named Mija lives happily in the countryside of South Korea with her grandfather and her super pig, Okja. They are visited by Mirando spokesperson and zoologist Dr. Johnny Wilcox, who declares Okja the best super pig and announces they will take her to New York City. Mija's grandfather takes her to visit the graves of her parents where he presents her with a gold pig and explains to her that rather than buy Okja, which was not allowed, he saved up the money for Okja and bought the solid gold item. Devastated, Mija runs away to Seoul to find Okja, where she sees her as she is being loaded onto a truck. Mija manages to chase down the truck which is eventually intercepted by another truck, run by the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). In the resulting chaos Mija and Okja run away causing havoc though they are eventually saved by the ALF. Recognizing that Mija is Okja's owner, they tell her that their plan is to put a recording device in Okja's ear and let her be re-captured by the Mirando corporation to show how brutally they treat their animals. Mija tells them to return her to the mountains but their translator, K, deliberately lies, causing the group to believe Mija went along with their plan of Animal Liberation Front.
Meanwhile, footage of Okja and Mija running through the streets of Seoul has gone viral. In order to do damage control, Lucy pays for Mija to come to New York to be reunited onstage with her pig. Okja is taken to the laboratory where she is forcibly bred with another super pig. Members of the ALF overhear the recording through the device they placed in Okja's ear.
In New York City, Mija spends her time learning bits of English and being forced to agree to the wishes of the Mirando corporation. Jay, the leader of ALF, slips into her room and tells her that they still plan to rescue Okja while on stage. Mija is reunited with Okja who, blinded and battered does not recognize her and attacks her. Mija calming Okja down by tell something in Okja ear so that she recognizes Mija. A video of Wilcox's treatment of Okja is screened by the ALF to the public, who quickly turn on him and Lucy. Mija and the ALF attempt to escape with Okja, but Nancy arrives back and quickly takes over the Mirando Corporation, recapturing Okja and having the ALF members beaten and arrested.
Escaping, Jay and K take Mija to find Okja in a mass killing plant. The group search for Okja but are unable to find her until Mija sees her going up the ramp to the slaughterhouse. In order to save Okja she runs through the killing plant and sees many dead super pigs. Mija sees Okja as she is about to be slaughtered and shows the Mirando employee a photograph of herself with a baby Okja. The man seems moved, but Nancy arrives and tells Mija and the man that Okja must be slaughtered. Mija offers the golden pig to Nancy in exchange for Okja's life. Nancy agrees to the deal whilst subsequently arresting Jay and K. As Mija and Okja are leaving, they see many more pigs being led to slaughter. A pair of superpigs manages to push their newborn through the fence, and Okja hides it within her mouth to take it away.
Back in the countryside, Mija resumes her life with her grandfather, Okja, and the new piglet. In a post-credits scene, Jay is released from prison and gets on board a bus with K and the other members of the organization, who reveals that ALF will be attending a major meeting involving all of the Mirando shareholders.
The Mummy (2017)
Good Tom Cruise movie
What could have happened to get such a fast-angry mob of movie critics and bloggers to so quickly trash The Mummy days before it came out? Well, I saw it and for the life of me could not find much to complain about.
After watching The Mummy do I agree with the premature flood of angry reviews? I was told The Mummy was not good, not good at all in many words. Well the truth is the critics lie and apparently bullying a movie out of the box office is alive and well. I was quite happy with The Mummy. I liked Nicks character played by Tom Cruises who I felt was believable for a fun summer action movie. Tom Cruise is best actor and great movie.
In a flashback to the New Kingdom era, Princess Ahmanet is first in line to succeed her father Menehptre until his second wife gives birth to a son. Determined to claim the throne for herself, Ahmanet sells her soul to the Egyptian god Set, who agrees to help her if she uses a dagger to transfer his spirit into a corporeal form. After killing her family, Ahmanet attempts to sacrifice her lover to Set but is captured by her father's priests and condemned to be mummified alive for eternity. Her sarcophagus is buried in Mesopotamia and submerged in a pool of liquid mercury so that her monstrous form will not escape.
In present-day Iraq, soldier-of-fortune Nick Morton and his partner Chris Vail accidentally discover the tomb of Ahmanet after staging an airstrike on an insurgent stronghold. Jenny Halsey, an archaeologist who had a one-night stand with Nick, arrives and investigates the tomb. After extracting Ahmanet's sarcophagus from a pool of mercury, Nick's superior, Colonel Greenway, places the sarcophagus on a transport plane headed to England. During the flight, Vail becomes possessed by Ahmanet's power. After attempting to open the sarcophagus, he stabs Greenway and attacks the group, forcing Nick to shoot him dead. A huge murder of crows then assaults the plane, causing it to crash and kill everyone on board except for Jenny, who is parachuted off the plane by Nick and nick, himself.
Nick awakens a day later in a morgue in Oxford, and learns from Vail's ghost that he has been cursed by Ahmanet, who seeks to use him as a replacement vessel for Set. Ahmanet's mummy escapes from the sarcophagus and begins feeding on rescue workers to regenerate her decomposed body. Turning the workers into zombie minions, she lures Nick and Jenny into a trap, forcing the two to fight off the minions as they unsuccessfully try to escape. At the last second, unknown soldiers appear and subdue Ahmanet. Their leader, Dr. Henry Jekyll, explains that Jenny is an agent of Prodigium, a secret society dedicated to hunting supernatural threats. He confirms that Nick was cursed when he unlocked Ahmanet's tomb and reveals his intention to complete her ritual and allow Set to possess Nick in order to destroy Set and end his evil forever.
Meanwhile, Ahmanet summons another spider to possess a Prodigium technician and frees herself from captivity, wreaking havoc, death, and destruction in the process. He and Jenny then escape from Prodigium while Ahmanet steals back the dagger, summons an army of deceased English crusaders to serve her, and creates a massive sandstorm that ravages London. Ahmanet to recover the ruby in the tomb and set it in the dagger's pommel, granting her all she needs to free Set.
Guided by Vail, Nick and Jenny flee into the London Underground tunnels, but are attacked by Ahmanet's minions. Ahmanet captures Jenny and drowns her, hoping to break her hold over Nick. Nick puts up a fight, but gives up and lets himself embrace Ahmanet, using it as a ruse to steal the dagger and stab himself. Nick now have power of life so Nick uses Set's powers to overpower and suck the life out of Ahmanet, turning her back into a shriveled mummy. Nick harnesses Set's powers to resurrect Jenny, saying goodbye before becoming overwhelmed by Set's power and disappearing. Soon, Jenny regroups with Dr. Jekyll and they discuss if Nick, now fused with Set, will be good or evil. Ahmanet's corpse is lowered into a locked pool of mercury within the Prodigium base for safekeeping. Later on in the desert, Nick resurrects Vail, and the two set out on an adventure.
Spark: A Space Tail (2016)
Animation for kid
I personally thought the story was very well done. I was impressed with character of each of the characters. For me the animation was fine. Had the story been a good one then I wouldn't care about how realistic the characters are portrayed - it's a kid's animation so I don't expect it to look lifelike. The characters in the movie is good. Not the best animated feature I ever seen but it is OK.
Thirteen years ago, the evil General Zhong overthrew his noble brother to seize the throne of the planet Bana, using a spacetime anomaly known as a "slick". Slicks were defecated out by a wild creature known as a space kraken. The slick tore whole shards off the planet, and swallowed up many subjects. Among the few survivors were a baby monkey named Spark, a warrior fox named Vix, and a pig mechanic named Chunk.
In the present, Spark, Vix and Chunk secretly live on a shard used as a garbage dump, with Vix and Chunk leading insurgency missions against Zhong. One day, Spark intercepts an e-mail sent to Vix about a new mission, and decides to take the mission himself. The e-mail surprisingly leads to the Queen of Bana. The Queen hands Spark a kraken-finder, which Zhong wants to use to find and recapture the space kraken. Spark decides to use it to find the kraken himself, and he tames the creature and brings it back to Bana. However, when he went home, he finds out his home raided by Zhong's forces, who then capture both him and the kraken. Zhong forces the kraken to make a new slick into which he hurls Spark, Vix, Chunk and the entire garbage shard.
The trio discover that the slick actual is a wormhole that leads to a desert planet. Spark finds survivors of the first slick, living in the King's old flagship battle cruiser. The Captain of the flagship reveals that Spark is in fact the son of the King and Queen, who entrusted Vix and Chunk to hide him away. The King had died in an accident some years ago. when Spark visits a memorial to his father, Spark finds a special weapon made for the royal family. Spark rallies the survivors to mount an attack on Zhong.
The flagship and survivors return to Bana through their own slick, and ultimately defeat Zhong's forces after a prolonged battle. Spark personally rescues his mother, the Queen, from Zhong's own flagship which gets critically damaged during the battle. Spark decides to rescue Uncle Zhong as well, but the Queen then punches Zhong into the slick. The film ends with Spark becoming the new Prince of Bana.
Wonder Woman (2017)
good movie but boring in the first half
As a lot of People disliked the film, I liked it. It was a little slow, but overall it set up how wonder woman grew up and go outside the world and kill god of war.
Diana was raised on the hidden island of Themyscira, home to the Amazon race of warrior women created by the gods of Mount Olympus to protect humankind. In the distant past, Ares, the god of war, slew all his fellow gods, but his father, Zeus, struck him down. Before succumbing to his injuries, Zeus left the Amazons a weapon capable of killing his renegade son: the "Godkiller", presented as a ceremonial sword. Queen Hippolyta, Diana's mother, believes that Ares will never return and forbids Diana from training as a warrior, but Diana and her aunt General Antiope defy the queen and begin training in secret. When the two are discovered by Hippolyta, Antiope convinces her sister to allow Diana's training.
As a young woman in 1918, Diana rescues American pilot Captain Steve Trevor after his plane crashes off Themyscira's coast. The island is soon invaded by the landing party of a German cruiser pursuing Steve. The Amazons engage and kill all of the German sailors, but Antiope sacrifices herself to save Diana by intercepting a bullet meant for her. Interrogated with the Lasso of Hestia, Steve reveals that "The War to End All Wars" is raging in the outside world, and that he is an Allied spy. He has stolen a notebook with valuable information from the Spanish chief chemist Isabel Maru, who is attempting to engineer a deadlier form of mustard gas under the orders of General Erich Ludendorff, from a weapons facility in the Ottoman Empire. Believing Ares is responsible for the war, Diana arms herself with the sword and leaves Themyscira with Steve to find and destroy Ares.
Diana translates Maru's notes and reveals that the Germans plan to release the deadly gas at the warfront. Although forbidden by his commanders to act, Steve, with secret funding from Sir Patrick, recruits spy Sameer, marksman Charlie, and smuggler Chief to help prevent the gas from being released. When the team reaches the Western Front in Belgium, they are halted by the enemy lines, but Diana pushes alone through no man's land and rallies the Allied forces behind her to liberate the village of Veld. The team briefly celebrates and takes the group photograph from the beginning of the film. That night, Diana and Steve become intimate and share a kiss.
The team learns a gala will be held at the nearby German High Command. Steve and Diana each infiltrate the party, he intending to locate the gas and destroy it, she intending to kill Ludendorff, believing he is Ares and that killing him will end the war. Steve stops her to avoid destroy his plan. Ludendorff unleashes the gas on Veld, killing its inhabitants. Diana blames Steve for intervening and pursues Ludendorff to a base where the gas is being loaded into a bomber aircraft bound for London. Diana fights and kills Ludendorff but is confused when his death does not stop the war.
Sir Patrick appears, revealing himself as Ares and tells Diana that although he has subtly given humans The evil ideas and evil inspirations which is ultimately their decision to cause violence as they are inherently corrupt. He destroys the ceremonial sword, revealing Diana is the true "Godkiller" as she is Zeus' daughter, then tries to persuade her to help him destroy humankind to restore paradise on Earth. While the two battles and the rest of Steve's team destroy Maru's laboratory, Steve pilots the bomber carrying the gas to a safe altitude and detonates it, sacrificing himself in the process. Ares attempts to harness Diana's rage and grief at Steve's death by convincing her to kill Maru, but her memories of Steve cause her to decide that humans have good within them. She spares Maru and kills Ares.
Later in Trafalgar Square, the team celebrates the end of the war.
Power Rangers (2017)
I like this movie
I was a fan of the series for years, and I still find the best the first generation, for this movie I was very anxious, and now that I saw it, I can say that I do not exceed my expectations. I only watched Power Rangers a little bit when was younger and was never really into it, but, I got to say I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. I loved it, I think everyone involved did a very good job. There was a good mix of comedy, action, drama and even some sentimental moments.
In the Cenozoic-era, six interplanetary warriors, the Power Rangers, are tasked with protecting life on Earth and the Zeo Crystal. The Green Ranger, Rita Repulsa, betrays them and plans to dominate the universe. Red Ranger orders Alpha 5 to perform a meteor strike that kills him and sends Rita to the bottom of the sea, foiling her scheme.
In 21st century Angel Grove, high school football star Jason Scott is dismissed from the team and placed under house arrest after a failed prank. In school detention, he defends Billy from a bully, Billy offers to deactivate Jason's ankle monitor for help at an old gold mine that evening. Billy detonates explosives to break some rock, attracting the attention of Jason, Kimberly, and nearby students, Trini and Zack. The five discover the Power Coins and each take one. While escaping mine security, their car is hit by a train. The five find themselves at home the next morning and discover they have been granted superhuman abilities. Elsewhere, Rita's body is found. Waking, she goes on a rampage, hunting pieces of gold to raise her minion Goldar to find the Zeo Crystal.
The five teenagers return to the mine and discover an ancient spaceship where they meet Alpha 5 and Zordon's consciousness. They inform the teenagers about the Rangers history and Rita, warning that they have eleven days until Rita has her full power, finds the Zeo Crystal, and uses it to destroy life on Earth. The five leave the ship with no intention of returning until Zordon pleads with Jason to convince the team.
The five returned to train the next day, but they cannot morph. They spend the next week training against simulated Putties and trying unsuccessfully to morph. To inspire the Rangers, Alpha reveals the Zords. Zack takes his Zord out for a joyride and almost kills the other Rangers when he crashes it. This angers Jason, and they fight. While trying to separate the two, Billy spontaneously morphs. However, when he becomes conscious of it, the armor disappears. Angered at their lack of progress, Zordon dismisses the group. Jason returns to the ship to confront Zordon and discovers that once the Rangers morph, it will open the Morphing Grid and allow Zordon to restore himself in a physical body. Feeling betrayed, Jason accuses Zordon of using the team for his own benefit. The team camp at the mine and bond with each other.
Later that night, Rita attacks Trini and orders her to bring the Rangers to the docks. Trini informs them about Rita and they arrive to fight, but are quickly defeated. Rita forces Billy to reveal the location of the Zeo Crystal, kills him, and releases the others. The Rangers take Billy's body to the ship and ask Zordon to resurrect him. The Rangers agree they would give their lives for each other and resolve to defeat Rita. In doing so, they unlock the Morphing Grid. Zordon revives Billy, sacrificing being able to restore his physical self. With the team restored and confident, the Rangers morph into their armor.
Rita creates Goldar, raises an army of Putties, and attacks Angel Grove to find the Zeo Crystal. The Rangers battle the Putties and head to Angel Grove in their Zords. After the Rangers destroy the Putties, Goldar pushes the Rangers and their Zords into a fiery pit. In the pit, the Zords combine, forming the Megazord. Rita merges with Goldar. The Rangers battle and destroy Goldar. After refusing Jason's offer to surrender, a defiant Rita tells the Rangers that more will come for the crystal. In the end, Megazord slapped Rita into space. The Rangers are praised as local heroes, and with Rita's threats foiled, they return to their normal lives.
Beauty and the Beast (2017)
Disappoint movie
As a fan of the original Disney film (Personally I feel it's their masterpiece) I was taken aback to the fact that a recent version was in the making. Still excited I had high hopes for the film. Most of was shattered in the first 10 minutes. Campy acting with badly performed singing starts off a long journey holding hands with some of the worst CGI Hollywood have managed to but to screen in ages. This movie is the disappoint.
When the prince refuses the rose from stranger and stranger turn to fairy, she transforms him into a monstrous beast and his servants into household objects, and erases the castle from the memories of their loved ones. Ghost in the Shell (2017)
good movie
I have just seen the movie at an advanced screening. To me, this film was fantastic. I went in expecting to be disappointed and I came out grinning ear to ear. I laughed as I watched Aramaki be a down right bad ass. the film took some time to present the world itself without jumping to action. Side characters were great, I enjoyed Aramaki and Batou the most, Togusa, Saito and Ishikawa didn't have much screen time, but still delivered. A good movie.
In the future, the clear majority of humans are augmented with cybernetics, enhancing various traits like vision, strength, and intelligence. Hanka Robotics, the world's leading developer of augmentative technology, establishes a secret project to develop a mechanical body, or "shell", that can integrate a human brain. a young woman who is the sole survivor of the cyberterrorist attack which killed her parents, is chosen as the test subject after her body is apparently damaged beyond repair. Over the objections of her designer, Dr. Ouelet, Hanka CEO Cutter decides to use Killian as a counter-terrorism operative.
A year later, Killian has attained the rank of Major in the anti-terrorist bureau Section 9, working alongside operatives Batou and Togusa under Chief Daisuke Aramaki. The team successfully thwarts a terrorist attack on a Hanka business conference, and Killian destroys a rogue mechanical geisha after it murders a hostage. After learning that the geisha was hacked by an unknown entity, known only as Kuze, Killian breaks protocol and "dives" into its AI for answers. The entity attempts a counter-hack, and Batou is forced to disconnect her. Using the information, she was able to gather, the two trace the hacker to a Yakuza nightclub, where they are lured into a trap. The resulting explosion destroys Batou's eyes, and leaves Killian's body severely damaged.
Kuze tracks down Section 9's Hanka consultant, Dr. Dahlin, and kills her. The team links her murder to the deaths of other senior company researchers, and realize that Dr. Ouelet is the next target. Kuze takes control of two sanitation workers and sends them to kill Ouelet, but it is unsuccessful. Togusa traces the hack to a secret location, where the team discovers many humans mentally linked together as a makeshift signal network. Killian is captured, and Kuze reveals that he is a failed Hanka test subject from the same project that created Killian, otherwise known as 2571. He urges her to question her own memories before freeing her and escaping.
Killian confronts Ouelet, who admits there were 98 test subjects before Killian but she was the only one to survive the process and that her memories are fake implanted ones. Cutter has decided that Killian is too much of a liability, and orders Ouelet to euthanize her after she returns to Hanka Robotics. Instead, Ouelet gives Killian an address and helps her escape. Cutter kills Ouelet, but blames Killian, saying that she has gone rogue. He subsequently informs Aramaki and the team that Killian must be terminated by any means necessary.
Killian follows the address to an apartment occupied by a widowed mother, who reveals that her daughter, Motoko Kusanagi, ran away from home a year ago and was arrested, before taking her own life while in custody. Unable to process her emotions, Killian leaves and contacts Aramaki, who intentionally allows Cutter to eavesdrop on their conversation. Batou, Togusa, and Aramaki each subdue Cutter's men trying to ambush them, while Killian follows her memories to the hideaway where Motoko was last seen. There, she and Kuze meet, and recall their past lives as anti-augmentation radicals who were abducted by Hanka for use as test subjects. Cutter deploys a "spider-tank" to kill them, and Kuze nearly dies before Killian is able to tear off the tank's motor, losing her left arm in the process. Mortally wounded, Kuze offers to merge his "ghost" with Killian's before a Hanka sniper kills him. Batou and the team rescue Killian, while Aramaki executes Cutter with Killian's consent. The next day, Killian, now repaired and embracing her identity as Motoko, reconnects with her mother before returning to work with Section 9.
The Boss Baby (2017)
God movie so far
I don't understand how this movie got so many negative reviews. I went and saw this yesterday and honestly, it's one of the best movies I have EVER seen. The plot is funny and progresses intently while the characters develop and come together in common interest. This movie is hilarious and heartwarming. I 10/10 recommend this.
A man named Timothy Templeton (Tobey Maguire) tells a story through his imaginative point of view as his 7-year-old self (Miles Bakshi) who lives his days having fun with his parents, Ted (Jimmy Kimmel) and Janice (Lisa Kudrow). While tucking Tim in bed one night his parents ask if he wanted a baby brother; Tim declines the offer, saying that he is enough. After he goes to sleep, we see that Janice is pregnant.
While sleeping Tim begins to wonder where babies come from. One day, Tim is surprised when a business suit-wearing infant shows up in a taxi at his house, and Ted and Janice proudly call him Tim's little brother. Tim is envious of the attention the baby is receiving, not to mention suspicious when the infant acts odd around him, but his parents, being blind to the baby's eccentric behavior, try to convince him that they will grow to love each other.
Soon, Tim learns that the baby can talk like an adult (Alec Baldwin) and he introduces himself as "The Boss Baby". Tim decides to record a conversation between him and other toddlers who are over at Tim's house for a meeting to do something about how puppies are receiving more love than babies. The Boss Baby and the other infants catch Tim with the recording and after a chase scene throughout the backyard and the house, the tape is terminated after The Boss Baby threatens to tear up Tim's favorite stuffed animal, Lam-Lam. With no evidence to support him, Tim is subsequently grounded by his parents for his actions during the chase between him and the Boss baby.
The Boss Baby comes to Tim and has him suck on a pacifier that transports them to Baby Corp, a place where infants with adult-like minds work to preserve infant love everywhere. They are virtual, so they cannot be seen or heard. The Boss Baby explains to Tim that he was sent on a mission to see why puppies are getting more love than infants. He has infiltrated Tim's residence because his parents work for Puppy Co., which is unleashing a new puppy on the day that employees take their children to work. The Boss Baby also explains that he stays intelligent by drinking a "Secret Baby Formula" which enables a baby to act like an adult. However, if a baby does not drink it after a period of time, he or she reverts to a regular baby. He hopes to receive a promotion after dealing with Puppy Co.'s new puppy, but when they overhear Boss Baby's boss threaten to fire him for not bringing in information, thereby stranding him at the Templetons, he and Tim agree to work together to keep that from happening.
After appearing to have patched things up, Tim's parents lift the grounding and take them to Puppy Co. for "take your child to work day". While there, they slip away and find what they think is the plans for a "Forever Puppy", but it turns out to be a trap set by founder Francis E. Francis . They discover that Francis used to be the head of Baby Corp. and Boss Baby's idol, but was forced out when it was discovered that his lactose intolerance kept the secret formula from working properly. Vowing revenge, Francis founded Puppy Corp. and intends to have the Forever Puppies overshadow babies by stealing Boss Baby's serum bottle and infecting the puppies with it. Tim's parents go with Francis to Las Vegas, and Francis has his brother Eugene pose as Tim and Boss Baby's babysitter to keep them from interfering.
Without a steady flow of serum to keep his intelligence in check, Boss Baby begins reverting back to being a normal baby. Despite this, he and Tim manage to evade the "babysitter" long enough to get to the airport, but are too late to intercept Tim's parents. Upset, Tim blames Boss Baby for using his family for his own ulterior motives, for which Boss Baby, after some hesitance, apologizes. After that, they went to airplane and come to Las Vegas.
Furious at their interference, Francis proceeds to lock Tim's parents up so he can burn them with exhaust from a rocket used to launch the Forever Puppies. Tim and Boss Baby fight with him, and then push him into the formula. Boss Baby opens the rocket to let the dogs out, so they can save Tim's parents. After he successfully does that, he returns to baby state while still on the rocket, but Tim sings to him with a family song to show his appreciation, causing him to jump off of the rocket before it launches. Francis, having reverted back to baby form, attempts to attack them again, but Eugene interferes, stating he'll "raise him right this time" now that he's a baby again.
Boss Baby gets promoted, leaves in a taxi, and Tim goes back to being an only child. But Tim and Boss Baby, having grown closer, start to miss each other. Boss Baby, fed up, decides to be part of the Templeton family permanently. He returns to the Templeton family as a regular baby named Theodore Lindsey, as the whole story turned out to be in Tim's imagination, and Ted and Janice have just brought him home from the hospital. Tim is now an adult and now the father of an older daughter and an infant daughter who acts exactly like Theodore did when he was Boss Baby.
A Dog's Purpose (2017)
Best movie for family
A Dog's Purpose is an awesome movie about a dog's love for their human. The movie literally portrays so many different ways that dogs are treated. This is an amazing movie. I saw an early screening of it on January 18th and it is one of the best movies I've ever seen. The movie left me feeling happy. The movie was very enjoyable and I would recommend that you go and see it.
The film focuses on a dog whose life is shown from his birth to his death and to his reincarnation through four different dog breeds. Each time he is reincarnated, it tells his story from life to death, except in the latest life, where he meets his original owner again.
Toby( the dog) is spotted inside a locked pick-up truck on a hot summer day and is rescued from certain death by a young boy named Ethan and his mother. He is given the name Bailey. As the years pass, Ethan grows into a strapping high school football player who falls in love with his classmate Hannah. But events take a dark turn when Ethan's alcoholic father shoves his mother to the ground in a drunken rage. Ethan orders his father to leave and never come back. Later a vindictive classmate throws a lit firecracker into Ethan's house as a harmless prank which unintentionally results in a catastrophic fire. Ethan badly fractures his leg, however, during the fall from the second-story window, ending his dreams of an athletic scholarship, and he must go to agricultural school instead. Self-pitying and embittered, he breaks off his relationship with Hannah before leaving for college. Sometime afterwards, an aged Bailey slowly expires at the veterinarian's office after sharing an eleventh-hour teary goodbye with Ethan.
Bailey reincarnates into another dog life, a female German Shepherd K-9 named Ellie, sometime in the late 1970s/early 1980s, while remembering his previous existence. Ellie is partnered with a widowed officer named Carlos, from the Chicago Police Department. The two form a close relationship which ends after Ellie jumps into a rushing river and saves a kidnapped girl from drowning and is then fatally shot during a struggle with the armed kidnapper.
Reincarnated in the mid-1980s as a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Tino, he forms a bond with Maya, a college student in Atlanta whom he helps to find true love. Maya marries and has a beautiful family who all love the Corgi. As he lies dying of old age in the late 1990s, Tino thanks Maya for giving him one of his best lives.
Tino is again reincarnated as a Saint Bernard, sometime during the next decade, only to be taken in by an abusive and neglectful urban couple whom name him Waffles. Waffles is eventually dumped in an abandoned lot and reluctantly sets off in search of a new life. He gradually makes his way to the country area where his second life began without even realizing at first where he is headed. He joyfully reunites with his old master Ethan, who is now at the far end of middle age, living a lonely solitary life and apparently broken in spirit. Ethan, of course, initially has no idea who this wandering Saint Bernard really is and hands him over to the local animal shelter. But he soon has a change of heart and reclaims him, naming him Buddy. Buddy, sensing that he has finally found the purpose in life that has long evaded him, finds a way to reunite Ethan with a widowed Hannah, and they eventually get married.
At the movie's end, Buddy finally convinces Ethan that he is Ethan's beloved childhood pet by performing some tricks and responding to key phrases that were known only to the two of them all those many, many long years ago. At a later stage, Ethan dies with Buddy by his side.
Kong: Skull Island (2017)
This is call kong movie
Some people go to the movies to be wowed by the superb acting, heart wrenching and well written story, and overall solid production. This is an all out creature feature...It is called Skull Island because that's where the action takes place with all the neat creatures. There is a LOT of screen time devoted to Kong and the monsters. Kong: Skull Island is the perfect monster movie. It's an epic display of what a popcorn movie should be.
In 1944, in the midst of World War II, two fighter pilots – an American soldier named Hank Marlow and a Japanese soldier named Gunpei Ikari – parachute onto an island in the South Pacific after a dogfight. They both engage in close combat, with Ikari gaining the upper hand, but the fight is interrupted by a behemoth ape known as Kong.
In 1973, U.S. government agent Bill Randa hires former British Special Air Service Captain James Conrad, a skilled tracker, to guide an expedition to map out an island known as "Skull Island" and with a Vietnam War helicopter squadron led by Lieutenant Colonel Preston Packard and his subordinates, Major Jack Chapman and Captain Earl Cole. Upon arrival at Skull Island, Packard's men begin dropping explosives developed by seismologist Houston Brooks to map out the island. However, the air unit is attacked by Kong, who kills a number of military personnel and scatters the others across the island.
After being confronted by Packard, Randa reveals his affiliation to the secret government organization Monarch, which was trying to prove the existence of monsters and determine their threat to humanity. The other survivors (Conrad, Weaver, Brooks, biologist San Lin, soldier Reg Slivko, and Landsat employee Victor Nieves) try to get to a rendezvous point to meet a resupply team arriving in three days' time. They encounter the local Iwi natives and an older Marlow. He reveals that Kong is the island's guardian, worshiped as a god by the natives for protecting the island's inhabitants from many predators, including reptilian underground monsters dubbed "Skullcrawlers". They have killed Kong's ancestors, leaving him as the last of his kind, and that one of the Skullcrawlers killed Ikari.
Packard's group begins making their way to Chapman, whose helicopter crash-landed elsewhere. Meanwhile, Chapman is ambushed and eaten by a Skullcrawler. Jame Conrad's group helps Marlow complete a boat built from parts scavenged from Marlow and Ikari's downed planes. They ride the boat down the river, and manage to secure communication with Packard's group, but the boat is attacked by pterosaur-like creatures which kill Nieves. They regroup with Packard, who insists on searching for Chapman, though his true objective is to find and kill Kong.
There, the same Skullcrawler that devoured Chapman attacks the group, killing Randa and many soldiers before dying in a flammable gas explosion triggered by Weaver. Learning about Chapman's death, a vengeful Packard blames Kong for the deaths of his men and becomes determined to kill Kong. The two groups part ways, with Packard's group laying a trap for Kong, while the non-military personnel head back to the boat.
As Conrad and Weaver encounter Kong, Packard's group triggers napalm explosions to lure him in. Kong charges to the lake, where they manage to incapacitate him with ignited gasoline, though Woodward is killed. Conrad's group arrives and persuades the other soldiers to spare Kong, but Packard refuses to stand down. Then, a massive Skullcrawler. Emerges from the lake. Packard is crushed to death by a recovering Kong. The Skullcrawler overpowers Kong in a brief battle and then chases the survivors. Kong returns to rescue the others and with help from the humans, kills the beast by ripping out its innards. He saves Weaver from drowning, and allows the surviving humans to leave the island.
During the credits, Marlow returns home, reuniting with his wife, meeting his son for the first time, and watching a Chicago Cubs game on television. In a post-credits scene, Conrad and Weaver are detained by Monarch and informed by Brooks and Lin that Kong is not the only monster to roam the world. As proof, they are shown archive footage of cave paintings depicting Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra, and King Ghidorah.

The next day Tripp finds that the creature has a diet of oil and it takes shelter within the hood of his truck, quickly befriending him naming him Creech and promising to help him get home. Tripp modifies the truck to give Creech more control over the truck as a makeshift engine and Meredith becomes quite impressed and surprised at the Creech's speed and talent. They decide that to protect the company's image the right thing by sending hired mercenary Burke to kill the creatures, to the objection of Jim Dowd, as he finds the monsters have human intelligence. Sympathetic to the creatures plight, Jim decides to help Tripp and Meredith rescue the creatures. They get the help of two friends of theirs to get two more trucks, one being a repossession from a friend of Tripp's and another being the birthday present of a second friend whose dad owns a local car dealership, so they can modify them for Creech's parents to take control in the same way. He and his parents depart back home and Terravex is exposed by the group for the experimentation that was harming the creature's habitat. Reece is arrested and Tripp and Meredith begin a relationship.
Logan (2017)
Excellent movie but not super hero movie
Logan may not be a perfect film, it is most certainly a perfect comic book film. LOGAN feels like the Wolverine movie Hugh Jackman has been waiting (and training) for 17 years to make. What makes this one of the finest superhero movies ever produced is the big, messy, somewhat broken heart beating at its core.
In the year 2029, mutants are on the brink of extinction, with no new mutants having been born in 25 years. James "Logan" Howlett, formerly known as Wolverine, spends his days working as a chauffeur in Texas. His healing factor has been severely weakened and he has aged due to the adamantium on his bones beginning to poison him. Logan lives with mutant tracker Caliban in an abandoned smelting plant across the Mexican border, where they care for Professor Charles Xavier, who is suffering from a neurodegenerative disease which causes him to lose control of his telepathic abilities to devastating effect. One day, Logan is approached by Gabriela Lopez, a nurse for biotechnology corporation Alkali-Transigen, who wants him to escort her and an 11-year-old girl named Laura to a place in North Dakota called "Eden".
After reluctantly accepting the job from Gabriela, Logan discovers that she has been murdered. Logan and Xavier learn that Laura is one of several mutant children Transigen was breeding using DNA samples from several mutants for the "X-23" project, and that upon completion of the "X-24" project, the children were deemed obsolete and were to be euthanized. Gabriela helped several children escape from the Transigen compound before smuggling Laura, who is revealed to be Logan's biological daughter, across the border.
The Reavers catch up with them in Oklahoma City, but Xavier suffers a seizure and telepathically freezes everyone in their hotel, allowing Logan to kill the attackers before injecting Xavier with a suppressant and escaping. While on the highway, the trio helps farmer Will Munson and his family after a traffic incident. The Munsons invite them over for dinner, and they accept under the guise of being a trigenerational family. When a nearby pipe springs a leak, Logan and Will leave the house to fix it.
While Logan is gone, X-24 stabs Xavier through the chest before slaughtering the Munson family. When Logan returns, Xavier succumbs to his wound and Caliban sacrifices himself by setting off two grenades to destroy the Transigen van in which he is being held captive. Logan engages X-24, which gains the upper hand, but Will impales X-24 and shoots it before dying, allowing Logan and Laura to escape.
After burying Xavier, Logan passes out from exhaustion. He wakes up in a clinic that Laura had driven him to, but refuses to get further treatment and wants to abandon the trip. Laura convinces him to complete it, and they arrive at Eden, a safe haven run by Rictor and the other Transigen test subjects that managed to escape. Logan learns that the children plan to journey across the Canadian border and decides to part ways with them. However, when the children are intercepted by the Reavers, Logan intervenes. Dr. Zander Rice, the head of Transigen, pacifies Logan and reveals that the destruction of mutantkind is due to a genetic dampener created by his corporation. Logan shoots Rice dead.
Logan and Laura fight X-24, with Rictor using his seismic powers to help them. However, X-24 brutally impales Logan on the branches of a fallen tree. While X-24 is trying to finish Logan, Laura shoots X-24 dead with an adamantium bullet Logan had been keeping. Fatally wounded, Logan tells Laura not to be the weapon she was made to be before dying in her arms. Laura and the other children mourn his death and hold a somber burial. Laura adjusts the cross on his grave to form an "X" before continuing on their journey across the border in search of a new beginning.
John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)
Best action movie so far
To put it simply, the movie is fascinating, exciting and fantastic. "John Wick: Chapter 2" is first true great action movie of the year. Bigger and better. It takes everything you enjoyed about the previous film to a whole other level of excitement. From Die Hard to District 13, from First Blood to Taken... Cassian confronts John once again in the subway. John wins the ensuing fight, but spares Cassian's life out of professional respect. Injured and desperate, John seeks help from the underground crime lord The Bowery King, whose subordinates treat his injuries and guide him to D'Antonio's location. John kills D'Antonio's men and brutally stabs Ares after an intense fight, leaving her immobilized, but D'Antonio is able to escape to the Continental. D'Antonio makes it clear that he intends to seek indefinite refuge there, and John, despite Winston's warning, shoots and kills D'Antonio.
The next day, Winston tells John that, per the High Table, the contract on John has been doubled and offered globally. John is "excommunicado" and loses all access and privileges to underworld resources. Winston delays announcing John's excommunication and post of the bounty on him globally by one hour to give him a head start, and provides him with a Marker for future use. Before leaving, John asks Winston to send a message that he will kill anyone who comes after him. John, suspicious of everyone as hit men all across New York set their eyes on him, flees on foot with his dog.
Sing (2016)
Best movie for kid
I was so utterly impressed, never got bored and thought it was a kiddie movie, never not wanting to hear the next song. Starring the film was an all star cast, too many to name and they all did a spectacular job singing and acting, the main star that gave me goosebumps singing was Tori Kelly, she can sing the house down. Sing is best movie for kid.
In a world of anthropomorphic animals, koala Buster Moon owns a theater, having been interested in show business since his father took him to his first music show as a child. Following financial problems brought up by the bank representative Judith, he tells his friend Eddie that he will host a singing competition with a prize of $1,000. But Buster's assistant, Ms. Crawley, accidentally write $100,000.
Animals from all around the city gather for auditions. Those selected include: housewife and mother of 25 piglets Rosita; street musician mouse Mike; mobster's son gorilla Johnny; and punk-rock porcupine Ash. Shy teenage elephant Meena bombs her audition out of stage fright, while Ash's boyfriend Lance is dismissed from the contest. Rosita is paired with another pig contestant named Gunter for a dancing routine. Although Buster discovers the flyers show a prize of $100,000, money he does not have, he remains optimistic. Buster convinces Eddie to arrange a visit with Eddie's grandmother, former opera singer and theater actress Nana, to persuade her to sponsor the prize money. She is hesitant to contribute, but agrees to see a private screening of the show.
Encouraged by her grandfather, Meena tries to ask Buster for another chance, but becomes his stage hand instead. When some of the other acts quit, Meena is added as an act. Rosita flounders in her dance routine with Gunter, having been distracted by her parenting duties that have fallen into disarray. After discovering Lance with a new girlfriend Becky and evicting them from her apartment, Ash is heartbroken and in no state to sing her assigned song "Call Me Maybe". Johnny is torn between having to help his father as the driver of the getaway car. When Johnny tries to do both, he does not show up for the planned pickup, and his father and his gang are arrested. Meena does not get any help overcoming her stage fright, and Mike, certain the prize money is as good as his, buys a fancy car to impress a girl mouse, and fights a group of bears in a card game at a nightclub.
The day of the screening, the bears interrupt the show, demanding the money from Mike, who in turn, points to Buster. The bears open the chest containing the prize money, but it is nowhere near $100,000. The glass tank full of luminescent squids that Buster got to light up the theater breaks, and floods the theater, which then comes crashing down. With the lot repossessed by Judith, Buster, who had been living in his theater's office desk, takes up residence at Eddie's place. Buster tries to start over by opening a car wash, using the same bucket that his dad had used to earn money for Buster's theater.
When Meena goes to the theater's rubble lot and sings Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", Buster hears her and is inspired to reinstate the show without the prize money. They perform in front of Rosita and Meena's family members. As Rosita and Gunther perform "Shake It Off", more animals are attracted to the scene as the show is broadcast on the news. Johnny's rendition of "I'm Still Standing" impresses his father, who then escapes from prison to reconcile with him. Despite interruption by Judith, Ash sings her original rock song "Set It All Free", impressing Lance. Mike returns when his peers make fun that he was not able to sing like the ones on television and sings "My Way". Meena finally overcomes her fears and sings Stevie Wonder's "Don't You Worry 'bout a Thing."
The show becomes a success and impresses Nana, who was in the audience. Nana buys the lot, and the theater is rebuilt and reopened.
Sully (2016)
best and emotional movie 2016
Greetings again from the darkness. Society has a tendency to go to extremes – hero worship for those who probably don't deserve it and character assassination for those who have the gall to be less than perfect. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger has experienced both. Sully continues Eastwood's success by giving us probably the most human drama of 2016.
On January 15, 2009, US Airways pilots Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and First Officer Jeff Skiles board US Airways Flight 1549 from LaGuardia Airport to Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Three minutes into the flight, at an approximate altitude of 2,800 feet (approx. 850 m), the Airbus A320 strikes a flock of birds, disabling both engines. Without engine power and judging themselves unable to reach nearby airports. Sully landed the aircraft on the Hudson River. The crew and passengers evacuate without casualty. The press and public hail Sullenburger a hero, but the incident leaves him with nightmare, and he repeatedly imagines the plane crashing into a building.
Sully learns that preliminary data from ACARS suggest that the port engine was still running at idle power. Theoretically, this would have left him with enough power to return to LaGuardia or land at Teterboro. The National Transportation Safety Board claims that several confidential computerized simulations show the plane could have landed safely at either airport. Sully, however, insists that he lost both engines, which left him without sufficient time, speed, or altitude to land safely at any airport.
Sully realizes that the Board believes the accident may have been pilot error, which would end his career. He arranges to have the simulations rerun with live pilots, and the results are relayed to the public hearing. Both simulations result in successful landings, one at each airport. Sully argues that they are unrealistic because the pilots knew in advance of the situation they would face and of the suggested emergency action, and were able to practice the scenario several times. The board accepts that in real life the pilots would have taken some time to react and run emergency checks before deciding to land the plane.
The two simulations are rerun and relayed to the hearing, this time allowing a 35-second pause before the plane is landed. The simulated diversion to LaGuardia ends with the plane landing short of the runway, and to Teterboro with a crash into buildings before the airport. The board announces that analysis of the port engine, now recovered from the river, confirms Sully's account that it was disabled by the bird strikes. The board concludes that Sullenberger acted correctly in selecting the best of the options available to him, which in the event saved the lives of everyone aboard.

Passengers (2016)
Best science fiction movie
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie more than most of the "critically acclaimed" films I've watched this year. The movie is worth your time. Firstly, 10/10 for realism. I would absolutely have done all those things if I were in their shoes. The movie is cherished and loved. The movie is so great.
The starship Avalon is transporting over 5,000 colonists to the planet Homestead II, a journey that takes 120 years. The colonists and the entire crew are in hibernation pods, but as the ship passes through a large asteroid field, the ship's shield is heavily strained causing a malfunction that awakens one passenger, mechanical engineer Jim Preston, 90 years early.
After a year of isolation, with no company except Arthur, an android bartender, Jim contemplates suicide. One day he notices beautiful Aurora Lane in her pod. He read about her profile who was a writer with a humorous personality. After so much about struggle within inside, he awakens her, claiming her pod malfunctioned like his. Aurora, devastated she may grow old and die before the ship reaches Homestead II, attempts a fruitless effort at re-entering hibernation, just as Jim had tried. Eventually, she accepts her situation and begins writing a book about her experiences. Jim and Aurora grow closer, becoming lovers.
A year later, Jim inadvertently allows Arthur to reveal the truth to Aurora. After Aurora knew about the truth which Jim awakens her, she mad at Jim and beat him, leave him, do not want to see him again. Gus attempts repairs with Jim and Aurora's help, while Aurora still blames Jim for stealing her life. Gus' body begins failing; medical tests in the Autodoc, an automated medical diagnostics and treatment pod, show that his hibernation pod's malfunction has physically damaged his body, and he has hours left to live. Before dying, Gus gives Jim and Aurora his ID badge to access crew areas and repair the ship.
The two find and trace a colliding asteroid's path through the ship's hull from two years earlier that damaged the computer administering the reactor. Attempts to repair the computer lead to further reactor damage. Jim realizes a fusion reactor must be vented by opening an outer vent hatch. Aurora assists while admitting she is terrified of losing Jim and living on the ship alone. Aurora, from inside the ship, and Jim, outside, successfully vent the reactor. However, Jim's tether snaps and his damaged spacesuit is losing oxygen. Aurora retrieves and resuscitates Jim in the Autodoc, relieved that he is alive and seemingly forgiving him for his decision; the two share a moment of embrace. Jim later learns that the Autodoc can act as a makeshift hibernation pod for Aurora. However, she realizes this would mean never seeing Jim again.
After 88 years, the ship's passengers and crew awaken shortly before arrival on Homestead II. They discover a small house amid lush vegetation on the ship's concourse area. Aurora's book reveals that she chose to stay awake with Jim and finish writing her story.
Moana (2016)
Awesome Disnay movie ever
Another wonderful movie to add to the Disney classics. 2016 has been a particularly strong year for animated films. With the likes of Zootopia, Finding Dory and Kubo & The Two Strings all vying for best animated picture of the year, it seems Moana deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as well. It is awesome movie.
A small pounamu stone that is the mystical heart of the goddess Te Fiti is stolen by the demigod Maui, who was planning to give it to humanity as a gift. As Maui makes his escape, he is attacked by the lava demon Te Kā, causing the heart of Te Fiti as well as his power-granting magical fish hook to be lost in the ocean.
Young Moana Waialiki, daughter and heir of the chief on the small Polynesian island of Motunui, is chosen by the ocean to receive the heart, but drops it when her father, Chief Tui, comes to get her. He insists the island provides everything the villagers need. Years later, fish become scarce and the island's vegetation begins dying. Moana proposes going beyond the reef to find more fish. Chief Tui rejects her request, as sailing past the reef is forbidden.
Moana's grandmother, Gramma Tala, shows Moana a secret cave behind a waterfall, where she discovers her ancestors were voyagers, sailing and discovering new islands across the world. Tala explains that they stopped voyaging because Maui stole the heart, causing monsters to appear in the ocean. Tala then reveals that the darkness has been spreading from island to island, slowly killing, and now Motunui is next.
Tala falls ill and with her dying breaths tells Moana to set sail. Moana and her pet chicken Heihei depart in a drua to find Maui to restore the heart of the goddess Te Fiti.
After a typhoon wave flips her sailboat and knocks her unconscious, she awakens the next morning on an island inhabited by Maui, who traps her in a cave and takes her sailboat to search for his fishhook. After escaping and catching up to Maui, Moana tries to convince him to return the heart, but Maui refuses, fearing its power will attract dark creatures.
Immediately after, sentient coconut pirates called Kakamora surround the boat and steal the heart, but Maui and Moana retrieve it. Maui agrees to help return the heart to Te Fiti, but only after he reclaims his hook, which is hidden in Lalotai, the Realm of Monsters, and held by Tamatoa, a giant coconut crab. They successfully retrieve it by tricking Tamatoa. After Maui have his hook, Fearful that returning to fight Te Kā will destroy his hook, Maui abandons Moana.
Moana still want to return the heart from the ocean to Te Fiti alone. Maui, having had a change of heart, returns to help Moana. Maui distract the lava demon, and his hook is destroyed in the battle. Realizing that Te Kā is actually Te Fiti without her heart, Moana asks the ocean to clear a path for Te Kā to approach her. She sings a song, asking Te Kā to remember who she truly is, allowing Moana to restore her heart. Te Fiti returns and in gratitude, gives a new canoe to Moana and a new magical hook to Maui before returning to her island form.
Moana bids farewell to Maui and returns to her recovering island with Heihei. Later, the villagers begin voyaging and set sail in search of new islands, as Maui and Tala accompany them in their giant hawk and manta ray forms, respectively.
