As tons of other people I was a great fan of Breaking Bad and I thought Saul was one of the strongest characters on that show so I was naturally excited about the spin-off. It does not disappoint! The characters are deeply complex and the story keeps you hitting that "next" button every time. The acting is amazingly spot on and the shots are beautiful without fail. I would give this show all the maximum scores if it wasn't for one thing: the pacing. Too many times there are way too long scenes about parking a car, walking from A to B, staring "meaningfully",etc... Very slow paced, and I mean very unnecessarily so! I appreciate an important scene where every blink of an eye is important for the story's sake but it just feels the 10 episode per season could be done in 5 if they would've just cut more (and I mean WAY more) of scenes people just walking. I mean: we get it, "now they parked the car", don't need to show every turn of the wheel. The worst for this was the scenes with Mike trying to figure out who's tracking him. I had to skip through so many of that,it took around 35 min for something that could've been done in 10 if they'd just trust that the audience understands what's happening. Regardless I love the show and all the characters in it! Saul, Mike, Kim, Nacho, Chuck,Howard,etc absolutely brilliant, unique show filled with super-talented actors!
