Umm Remember This Is For KIDS
29 October 2022
My daughter loves it & it is honestly a delight to have something to watch together with her. It gives me Sister Sister and That's So Raven vibes that I grew up on. People bashing, apologies, ADULTS bashing a show where the intended audience is people that still consider Santa a real person. Get a life adults. This isn't for us. Enjoy it as I am because it is bonding time for my daughter & I. That is priceless & brings me to love the show. Especially the fact I can understand the adults in the show's perspective. Thinking "yeah that would be about how I react lol". Think of when our parents would watch stuff that we loved.

Up and down emotions
13 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I love GoT with a burning passion of 1,000 suns but I've finally come to terms with agreeing with a majority bashing the writing. They ruined Jaimes character for no reason. They killed Varys for doing what was best for the kingdom. In retrospect he was doing the right thing because it was the truth. It would've been different if he was spreading lies in favor of Jon but it was the simple truth. Danearys killing him was almost the nail in the casket of her turning point, showing if people spread the truth they will die. Then finally Kings landing surrendered. They won by a landslide. She decides to kill innocent people and soldiers that surrendered. Battle won. Now Jon is pitted up against the likely event of the north vs Dany. While I am going to watch the last episode because of all the invested time I will always say that episode three was the ending for me, unless somehow they do great on the final episode. I do recall the writers saying the ending is bittersweet so I can't say I'm too shocked, but I am annoyed that they did so much development to fall like this. I pray to the gods, old and new, the last 2 books do better when they come out in like 15 years. We deserved better for the last two episodes, and I can't say my hopes are high with the series finale. It hurts to love something so much. If we get this in return.

Euron doesn't math well
6 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
How in the world did Euron not catch that Tyrion mentioned Cersei being pregnant. Like seriously is he that stupid? He was able to take over iron islands. He was virtually unnoticed in the killing of his brother but couldn't catch that Cersei was lying about who's baby it is..

And Jon for the love of all that is holy, old and the new, you couldn't go pet ghost and say bye. He's been there through it all with you and all he gets is a five second look. Come on writers. That's just rude!

A Quiet Place (2018)
6/10
Jump scares and baby making
16 April 2018
These were two big issues I had with the movie. While I understand the world is quiet and the director wanted any sound to seem louder, but to constantly put a jump scare in it was beyond annoying. They became overly dependent on it and that was the start of a movie that had so much potential. Every ten minutes BOOM jump scare. Boring. Boring.

Next scene. Pregnant. Yes. Getting pregnant in this world makes sense. You know how quiet newborns are. That was annoying and stupid. Should've gotten plan B or something since you can just walk over drug counters and get all you need.

Then the movie picks up at a certain point and I'm like.. maybe this movie is good after all. Loud noises. Ok that's cool since it's picked up.

Then the end. So. So. Anticlimactic. Literally stuffed my tickets into the cupholder. Looked at my wife. And left the theater. Upset I wasted our time. Idk what all these other people saw in it but for the most part the movie was MEH. Too dependent on jump scares. Bad ending. Stupid decision making (equal to the cliche of a woman tripping. Breaking ankle. Dying.)

The only positive I personally saw was the concept was good. But implemented poorly.

If you don't cry you have no soul
8 April 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I've had anime hit my feelings gently. And those that have hit them hard. This is one that has hit me hard in a good way. As much as I hate tearing up on anything with slight emotions it happens a lot. But this is one of the few animes that made me cry, specifically this episode, like it was my life. This helps you remember to appreciate the love you have while a person is and isn't on this earth. No matter what you know they will love you forever and makes you really reflect on things that is important. A simple letter can mean so much to a person and the mother of this episode showed love through that because she knew her time was coming to an end. I can't describe how amazing this episode is and how it was executed. And right when you think you can collect yourself the final part with violet breaking down reinitiates all the emotions you just let out.
