Definitely not a good movie to be an action film. Hans Zimmer music, Gal Gadot and Pedro Pascal's performance were noteworthy, rest of it were just bad. Is it wonder woman 1984 or Aladdin sequel? It's PG-13 yet the film was more like G certified(Absurdly Childish). This is one of the films where I felt I've wasted money to watch it on theatre.

One of the best supernatural films I've ever seen! Everything was excellent especially music, cinematography and direction. Casting was also perfect for this film. Don't miss this film, highly recommended. Very intriguing Storyline. It would've been perfect if the movie was a bit longer at the end as the climax was rushed due to not exceeding the 3 hour duration. The first half isn't slow, I'd say it's the character development within the story. I'd watch this even if it was 3 and half hours film. Kudos!

The movie was watchable and funny at 1 or 2 moments but to be honest, it's one of the films which is forgettable. Most of the jokes were cringe and narration felt so weak. The characterisation was awful(except Robbie and McGregor, they were good, others were meh). They wasted Black Mask, the climax was disappointing. It's better than suicide squad, that's an improvement. I don't know about how others felt but for me, it was a below average film.

Psycho, the film where everyone has roles and a very complicated antagonist. The film is so raw, so sensitive people(taboo topics and murders), don't go to the movie and complaint afterwards. It's 'A' certified for a reason. Narration, DOP, song placements and casting were pleasing on this film. Myskkin knows how to make an art out of the film and has a great sense of writing. I'm glad he makes these kind of films(audience on my theatre applauded after the movie finished). There are negatives but overall, it's not that a bad film.

Average revenge story. Positives - Rajini's energetic charisma, Yogi Babu scenes, some Nivetha Thomas' portions and BGM, that's it. Everything else was bad, so bad that i felt cringey even during some emotional scenes. Opening fight sequence, for commercial elements, the director could've made the fight somewhat illogical but this was way out of logic, slicing 50+ bad people at the same time, they should've really rethought about the fight scenes. If it was a fantasy fight film, it's totally believable. ARM really screwed up with dubbing, they should've made hindi actors to speak in tamil or else they should've totally spoke in hindi and made tamil subtitles. What ARM did was he made them speak in hindi and gave tamil voice, looked like a dubbing movie to be honest. Nayanthara as usual played a bigil like role in this film too. We only got to see villain in 2nd half but he is like usual villain who keeps walking and talking forever. Climax fight was atrocious. This film made me think "Is this really ARM's film?". For Rajini fans(veriyans) and children,this is a treat for them. Overall film is sub-par.

After Rogue one,this is the one where I felt like Star Wars. I thought we won't see Mandalorian's face but we saw Pedro Pascal out of his helmet in this episode.Droid IG-11,what can I say, it's the saviour of this season finale,even IG-11 had a great character development than the sequel trilogy, now that's what I call a successful filmmaking.

I hope Season 2 will be made within a year because it's really good SW series.

First of all, this movie was neither perfect(10/10s) nor very worst(1/10s). The Last Jedi was very bad on the Star Wars Saga but The Rise of Skywalker was watchable. Because of Rian Johnson's ilogical story telling on TLJ, TRoS is facing heavy criticism.

The visuals were great and fun to watch. Kylo Ren and Rey's plot was okay-ish(weird kissing scene just like Rose & Finn's on TLJ). Other than that, there's not much to it. So many characters were wasted. The story was too rushed, especially first 1 hour of the film. The ending felt like RotJ(Darth Vader turning to light side).

The whole movie didn't disappoint me but it didn't satisfy me either, the feeling is like a wooden log is in the middle of the ocean,neither settles on the ocean bed nor comes up to the surface of the ocean.

You'll either like it, hate it or feel nothing after watching the film.

Only few positives like Dhanush Acting, BGM and 2 hearable songs(only hearable). Rest of the film negative. Voice over was good at start of the film but after 15 minutes,it gets irritating/unbearable, Protagonist explains every single thing what's happening on the screen,which was so absurd. Megha Akash's debut film, tried her best but I noted that at some scenes, her acting was not that good. Sasikumar's English was obnoxious(that accent didn't suit him to be honest, I don't know if it's just me or everyone felt the same way). The movie felt very lengthy(in my opinion, paayamale irunthu irukalam). Overall, the movie is below average. Watch it only if you want to.

Joaquin Phoenix, what a performance, felicitous for the Joker role! He lived as Joker, very empathetic one. You know what? This movie is and will be one of the phenomenal movies of 2019. The message the movie tried to convey via cinematography at climax is an art, pure excellent art! The movie is so raw that it's actually disturbing to watch some scenes(Violence/Gore). This is how a dark movie should be made. One of the best movies to portray what a person can go upto based on how society treats him/her. Just ignore the critics and watch the movie!

Firstly, I like Director Selva's past projects. Secondly, don't go with expectations for this film, it'll totally disappoint you in every way.

Coming to the film, Director Selvaraghavan tried a different political satire film, i appreciate that but i must say it's a failed one. "Anbe Peranbe" song didn't suit at all during that scene. Suriya did his best, his outrageous scenes didn't feel that much of a overacting. Sai pallavi did overact at certain scenes(you'll know after watching the film). Rakul preet's character was so complicated, at first she was like a 'boss lady, Ms. Confidence' etc, then after few scenes, she became like a 'love girl' out of nowhere. Suriya's father was used only for a phone call scene, he was like a puppet throughout the film. After interval block, he gets admitted to hospital. Instead of making kumaran unconscious and planning to kill him with a silenced gun, why not just poison him in the first place? Next scene, Bathroom fight scene, this was illogical as he was only partially conscious and fought everyone without any struggle. Kumaran did turn into villain at climax but lots of inconsistency scenes made it look like an average flick.

Director Selva didn't have a full understanding of how politics works on real life. This film had the potential to be one of the better movies, so sad it got flushed away gradually. Suriya fans maybe satisfied by this film but not the general audience, 6.5/10.
