Archer (2009)
So fricking Awesome!
I will just start by saying that Archer is one of the best cartoons I have ever seen, because, unlike Family Guy or The Simpsons, It has never stopped being funny, and it stays fresh after the eight years it's been running. The voice actors work perfectly for the characters, and the animation is so well done and very detailed. It centers on the misadventures of Sterling Archer (Jon Benjamin) as the biggest a**hole of a secret agent turned drug dealer turned detective ever, his alcoholic abusive mother Mallory (Jessica Walter from Arrested Development!), co-worker/love interest/mother of his child, Lana Kane (Aisha Tyler), fellow field agent turned boss, nerdy Law School graduate Cyril Figgis (Chris Parnell from Saturday Night Live, Rick and Morty and 30 Rock) overweight, foul mouthed, sex-crazed Pam Poovey (Amber Nash), the openly gay Ray Gillette (series creator Adam Reed), Mrs, Archer's masochistic, mentally unstable secretary Cheryl/Carol Tunt (Judy Greer) and the mad scientist Algernop Krueger (Lucky Yates). I will say that this show is not recommended for viewers under 13-14 as it does contain some violence, moderate sexual references, and language, (words like sh!t, g**damn, t!ts, c*ck, d!ckhole, a**hole and p*ssy are used uncensored, while f**k is always bleeped) Overall I totally recommend this show to anyone with good taste in shows.
Fugget About It (2012)
Hilarious!
Fugget About It! is a great, really underrated show. It's really funny and has a great concept and great voice acting (guest stars include Howie Mandel, Alan Thicke, Dave Foley, Andrea Martin, etc.), The writing's pretty good, animation's decent, and the characters are pretty likable, and has some funny supporting characters (like Jimmy's boss, the French guy, and the Virgin Mary).
My main complaints with the show are the weird gross-out gags, (nosebleeding). The show is not bad at all and I would recommend it to anyone who likes Family Guy or The Sopranos. It's not for little kids though, because there is some swearing (censored), violence, sex, and stuff some kids won't understand, but
The Simpsons Movie (2007)
Funny, Touching and Just Plain Entertaining
This movie has everything. I picked this up since I'm a fan of the show, and boy, does this movie live up to the no-doubt high standards of the show in its Golden Years. It's practically moving at the rate of a joke per minute and leaves barely a dull moment once it took off. The cast is fantastic featuring Tom Hanks and Albert Brooks alongside the typical show cast (with the voice of Dot from Animaniacs as tons of characters). The animation doesn't upstage the voices (which could be music is just absolutely phenomenal (see 'Spider-Pig') and the satire good or bad depending on how you think about it) but is still interesting and wildly entertaining, and the shading is good and the is just delicious and all along I knew that the writers were really doing their best to make this the best that they could, to make this work, and it shows. It really, really shows. For example, the words that Grandpa Simpson spouts during the church scene at the beginning just so well work their way into the plot, which I won't give away. Also if you didn't know already there IS a scene in which Bart skateboards to Krusty Burger naked, which is pretty dang hilarious, and comes with a huge shock...{They show Bart's wiener}...was not expecting that... Nevertheless a 10/10. 'Nuff Said.
