Terrifier (2016)

Art The Clown is awesome!
9 May 2020
First and foremost if your not into horror films or a great slasher flick this film is probably not for you. Now if on the other hand you are like me and enjoyed Art The Clown's antics in All Hallows Eve and All Hallows Eve 2 and love a great Slasher film with a nice amount of gore and some underlying Dark humor this is your movie and it's a given there is more of both in this film, and if still you haven't seen TERRIFIER well what are you waiting for? David Howard Thornton aka Art The Clown and Damien Leone teamed up and delivered us all a unique slasher icon to have a fun ride with so I hope you all enjoy the film as much as I do.

Saw meets GroundHog Day
5 May 2020
I hope everyone enjoys To Your Last Death as much as I do! well if your not into horror movies or dark humor this probably isn't the film for you. However if you enjoy those types of things as much as I do then I would love to recommend it for a watch! I mean you have Morena Baccarin, William Shatner, and Bill Mosley and Ray Wise many names that I grew up being fans of and imo make a killer combination of talented folks. Anyhow won't go any deeper as I don't want to give spoilers, but will say it's like a mashup of Saw + Groundhog Day! One of my personal highlights of the film is Ray Wise as Cyrus DeKalb, love the way he portrayed that character!

Richard Stanley does it again!
5 March 2020
When I was living in San Diego back in 1990 I saw my first Richard Stanley film titled Hardware at a theatre that had a Friday night special running at 2 films for 2 bucks. I had never heard of Stanley prior to viewing but I must say that the film ended up being one of my favorite Horror films from the 1990s. A short time later I came across another of his films Dust Devil1992 and that's when Richard Stanley was forever intertwined with my Horror radar. I admit that when I found out about Color Out of Space it was practically at the last minute weeks away from the DVD release however fortunately I had the best of luck and was able to lock in the one and only showing of Color Out of Space here in Anchorage, Alaska. So if you have made it this far I would like to recommend A Color of Space and the aforementioned films as I have really enjoyed them and hope that other fans of Horror will find, watch and hopefully have the same level of enjoyment that I have found.

Phantom Horsemen!
17 February 2020
I enjoyed The Devils Machine aka (Automata) especially the Phantom Horsemen can't say no more as I do not want to ruin anyones fun by giving any spoilers. Brewster's storytelling is quite addictive! If you enjoy it like I did I may like to recommend his earlier films Lord of Tears,The Black Gloves or Unkindness of Ravens. The Owlman is a cool creature! Beware the Owlman!

I love this film!
10 August 2019
I have been watching the Universal Soldier series since it's beginning in 1992, and I must say I think this is my personal favorite of the franchise. The film is much darker than all of the previous films combined "for me that's a huge plus". The action in this film did in no way disappoint some of the kills and with the dark atmosphere makes this in my opinion a great action horror film and by the looks of things I wouldn't be surprised if they were to make another sequel.

Dogged (I) (2017)

I enjoyed Dogged
23 January 2019
I had a great time watching Dogged, in my opinion it was time well spent. If you are only into big budget Hollywood films full of CGI then unfortunately this film is not for you. However if you're a die hard horror fan like myself that watches as many horror films as possible, and at the same time enjoys seeing new creative ideas, and supports independent horror films than I recommend this to you!

Borderland (2007)

Borderland is a tense psycho-satanic shocker!
12 January 2019
I loved Borderland being that I grew up in San Diego, California just minutes from the actual US/Tijuana Mexico border. It's filmed based loosely on an actual cult that had practiced in the 1980s. I enjoyed the dark feel of the film, it's a great reminder of when in a foreign country you should be respectful and watch your P's and Q's. The kills were enjoyable and the pace of Borderland did not lag, it kept me engaged from beginning to end. I am just now recommending this film to fans of Horror as I rarely see it on any social media. I believe Borderland is highly underrated!

Bonehill Road (2017)
9/10
Much love shown to 1980s Horror!
12 January 2019
I just watched Bonehill Road for the first time and wow it was more than just a Werewolf film. Bonehill Road in my opinion delivered more than what I was expecting, and what I mean is the plot twists in the film that I didn't see coming were a very nice surprise. Todd Sheets did a awesome job in making Bonehill Road a film that fans of 1980s Horror films will appreciate. I had a blast watching Eli DeGeer, Ana Rojas-Plumberg, Linnea Quigley, Millie Milan, Dilynn Fawn Harvey and that crazy son of a b!@#! In the house. by the way what the hell was that they were eating? puts a whole new twist on Jimmy Dean, if you know what I mean?

also make sure to watch the film throughout the entire credits, it's a good habit to have especially for this film.

So if you like : 1. Horror Films 2. 1980s Horror Films 3. Werewolves 4. Gore 5. Plot Twists

I recommend this film to you!

The Expendables Of Horror!
14 December 2018
If You are a fan of the Horror genre like I am and would enjoy seeing a ton of Iconic Horror film stars all in one film! Then this is definitely a movie that you will enjoy. There are some pretty good ideas executed in Death House, I am not into giving spoilers, so you'll have to see the film. I have been waiting a long time to see Death House. I watched this film on On Demand, as I normally wait for new releases to come out on Redbox before deciding on a purchase. I had rented it as an early Birthday gift to myself, as it's a tradition that i have had from my childhood of renting films from the local video stores, so it's a no brainer that I'll be adding Death House to my collection!

Theta Induced Mindgasm!
19 August 2018
I have been wanting to see The Theta Girl after first discovering the campaign on Indiegogo where I acquired my copy. I really enjoyed The Theta Girl from the opening sequence until the ending it did not disappoint. The cast was a great choice who all did well in there parts especially Victoria Elizabeth Donofrio. Victoria's character of Gayce kept me engaged throughout the film. I loved the amount of Easter eggs that there were for fans of 1980s horror films. The Theta Girl team did an exceptional job for the $10,000 budget they had to work with, I hope many future filmmakers take note in what was accomplished here with such a small amount of money in today's world. I look forward to seeing what this team of David Axe and Christopher Bickel come up with in the future. I recommend The Theta Girl to any 1980s Horror films or Grindhouse movies fan, you're sure to find it a real treat. For the rest of you you are in for something special, as their is enough splatter/ Body count and some interesting plot twists to keep you happy.
