Didn't like it? I missed the part where that's my problem!
16 December 2021
Spider-man has been my all-time favorite superhero since I was a kid; to be more precise, Tobey Maguire was the only real spider-man for me and I was never able to even have the slightest interest for Andrew Garfield's spider-man. I remember wearing his suit when I was five or six years old after watching the Sam Raimi's trilogy for the 100th time and pretending that I was the friendly neighborhood spider-man. Who knows, maybe my passion for science came from these movies, cause you know, I'm something of a scientist myself. All these memories came rushing back to me after I heard the rumors about the possibility of multiverse in the new movie. I did not care if they would vitiate my good memories because of an awful storyline, all I needed was to see Tobey wearing his unique costume one more time. The moment he walked into the scene for the first time after fourteen years, the lyrics from "No leaf clover" by Metallica came to my mind: "Good day to be alive Sir!".

I loved everything about the movie and I really appreciate the fact that the producers gave us another chance to see our beloved heroes and it even surpassed my expectation. Although, I would like to mention some of my opinions that I believe could make the perfect movie. The introduction of other Spider-men into the scene for the first time could have been way more exciting, however, it still did not stop the audience from expressing their huge emotions including myself. On the other hand, green goblin seemed so desperate in the first scenes before turning into the marvelous villain that we used to know. Moreover, I was expecting to see more fights between Doc Ock and Tom Holland when they met but apparently that scene was only made for the trailer to distract us from thinking about three Spider-men.

Dialogues and interactions between characters were purely hilarious, not to mention the references to the old movies which have turned into memes nowadays. To be honest, I kept waiting for the moment to hear Tobey say "I'm gonna put some dirt in your eye", but I suppose that is never going to happen again.

Right after the movie ended, I thought to myself how they can make another new MCU movie better than this one, because for me, this movie was the closest thing to an ideal movie after Sam Raimi's version. I have a feeling that spider-man (Tobey's) has shaped my personality and it has been a part of me for as long as I can remember, therefore, if I have to, I will wait another fourteen years to see him again, regardless of the story.

Totally recommend it!
14 October 2021
Before writing any reviews about this movie, I need to clarify that I was among one of those people who assumed Daniel Craig was not charismatic enough to cast as 007. However, by now I am definitely convinced that he was the smartest choice.

Unlike the previous movie "Spectre" which ended up vitiating the stereotype of a murdering agent, I found the ending of "No time to die" completely reasonable and logical according to James Bond's strong character. First of all, the theme song could not be worse! I mean, I understand that they need to use so-called popular singers with zero quality but when we look at the earlier James Bond franchises, much better bands and musicians such as a-ha were involved. However, the positive side of the script was the amusing gun-shot scenes which were obviously more than the preceding movies with some humorous dialogues once in a while.

The script writers, in my opinion, did such an accurate prediction of how James Bond would react to a certain type of situation that even when the reaction was judgmental and irrational, still the respond would seem logical enough, albeit the absurdity. In other words, the mistakes he made were totally understandable. On the other hand, I could not thoroughly comprehend some of the villain's behaviors and he was less scoundrel than the other memorable antagonists.

After watching all five movies of Daniel Craig's James Bond, I am pretty sure that these movies are going to be one of my all-time favorites for years to come, especially "No time to die" would be one of those movies which has the capacity to change my mood when I am feeling low. Therefore, if you enjoyed Daniel Craig's James Bond movies so far, the chances are you will definitely be pleased with "No time to die" and if not, just go ahead and give it a try, you won't regret it!

Not so funny...
29 March 2020
This movie is exactly one of the reasons why I don't watch so-called horror movies. From the start till the end everything is so absurd and doesn't make sense. It's a story of an unfortunate girl who marries a guy from a rich family. The family made their fortune by creating and producing board games and all those stuff.

Every time, at midnight after the wedding ceremony takes places, this family has a ritual in which they play a board game. This time, they play hide and seek and the goal is to kill the bride. (Let's kill the bride, what's more fun than that seriously?)

The story was unusual from the beginning when the creepy aunt Helene was introduced. But anyway, I know it's a comedy movie but it wasn't a very cogent one. Everything is so absurd not in a funny way, but rather in a silly way.

The absurdity is that they wanna kill the bride joyfully with pride but when they shoot another random person they feel sorry for them. The plots are replete with so many stupid and illogical scenes. To compound the stupidity, a little kid has a gun and tries to kill the bride. Later he was asked why you shot her & he replies "that's what everyone else was trying to do". But he was in his room from the beginning and he had no idea what was going on, so how does he know about the game?

"Ready or not" is regarded by some viewers as a laudable and fantastic movie, which sounds so ridiculous to me. At the end, I really detest this movie and I don't really recommend such foolish story.

Cheerful and anomalous historic movie!
30 October 2019
This was the second time for me to watch a Russian movie and I was very fond of this one. Seeing the aesthetic architecture of the Hermitage museum in the heart of the old capital of Russia along with the history of the Soviet union being told as the time goes on, certainly gave me a pleasure.

The story commences with an unknown person left alone in the Hermitage museum in the 1800s. He seems to be an invisible man going forward through the history and confronting the people of each era and their traditions.

The abundance of elegancy disseminated through the whole architecture as well as the paintings is shown throughout the movie. Something that amused me the most was the fact that it was filmed through only one plot. It was hilarious that people accidentally peek at the camera once in a while but anyway it was a pleasurable experience to feel yourself lost in the interesting history and among the throngs of royal Russian families and their monarch.

This movie definitely is one of my favorite movies and if you're interested in the history of Russia, this movie categorically will be among the best movies that exist!

A thrilling sequel to the series!
23 October 2019
I wasn't a die hard fan of Breaking Bad but I enjoyed watching all the seasons of series. I supposed the ending of the series was somehow plausible and enough, that's why I wasn't really expecting another sequel to it. On top of that, a breaking bad movie without the main character ,Bryan Cranston, wasn't something I was looking for, although I was eager to watch the movie.

Ever since being captivated, the long and excruciating days for Jesse Pinkman began. He was rescued by Walter White in the last season of the series and the story of the movie begins with Jesse escaping. Throughout the escaping, he keeps having flashbacks of his harsh days and in some scenes it is obvious how it affects his decisions and behaviors.

I didn't recall many events from the series for it was a long time ago when I finished watching the whole seasons, however, for me it was a pleasurable experience. There are copious amounts of information and videos about the summary of Breaking Bad series, so I recommend you to get all the gists before watching the movie.

The story wasn't really replete with twists and it followed a very simple yet interesting story with fabulous scenes and I think that's what makes it outstanding. I wished I could watch this movie right after I finished watching the series but anyway, it was a joyful feeling to watch more Breaking Bad!

Cast Away (2000)

The movie had everything!
9 October 2019
Sometimes I get the feeling that there are interminable movies in the late 90s not only in one specific genre but in all of them. Robert Zemeckis ,the director of Back to the future series, made another masterpiece along with Tom Hanks and in my opinion this movie was somehow more interesting than Forrest Gump in which these two were cooperating together again.

Cast away definitely engrossed the audience attention for being so unique. The brief story might not sound fascinating but the story of men facing unknown is always interesting if it is followed by great actors and a rich screenplay and in this case particularly, it happened!

It's a story of a FedEx executive who's in a plane crash and he strives to survive in an island with no population. It demonstrates how modern people are so vulnerable to the nature and how we take for granted simple things like our easy access to food or electricity.

In general, everything related to the movie was marvelous and I didn't get bored not even for a second. They did a great job in making an average ordinary story into an incredible movie. I highly recommend it!

I personally prefer the novel to the movie.
2 October 2019
I read the novel about two years ago so I had some ambiguous and blurry images of the story that's why I decided to watch the movie. I somehow thought that the movie can be much more alluring and gaudier, however, in this case I was apparently mistaken.

The story is about some religious mystery that Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) , who is an experienced person in the ancient symbols, tries to solve it. In my opinion the movie failed to show the gothic aesthetic of Europe , it is as though the story was more focused on indicating the modern aspect of the cities.

When the main actor is Tom Hanks along with the music composer Hans Zimmer, we have to hold our judgments in abeyance, so did I. I think the movie could've been much more interesting and still I stand by my choice that the movie had room for progress.

I did enjoy the movie, however, reading the novel was more delightful and pleasurable.

An amazing movie with a perfunctory ending!
25 September 2019
The story is about the future when the time traveling is available but it's only used in secret by the biggest criminal organizations. It sounds logical that the time traveling would be illegal but there was a rule that everyone should closed their loops and I wasn't really convinced about it.

It's a story of an old man who has nothing else to lose and wants to save his wife's life by going back in time and he decides to do anything necessary no matter how cruel it would be.

There are many scenes that the old man is confronting his younger self and both sides hate each other as much as possible.

In such movies, there is always a battle between a good guy and a villain but in this movie you cannot distinguish it. One of the most interesting things about this story is that you cannot prognosticate what comes next.

The story was really fascinating and I just don't understand why it had to end that way. I don't repudiate the fact that there was great casting and interesting story but the ending was awful and it kind of ruined the whole movie.

Another average ordinary mysterious movie!
17 September 2019
I've watched plenty movies of this genre. Some were singular while the others were just a waste of time. Marshall (Henry Cavill) is investigating the case of a murderer who seems to be retarded but yet adroit killer while he's arrested. Cooper (Ben Kingsley) is also an old man who wants to make the world a better place by his own justice.

In the first half an hour of the movie, every scene is vague & I was trying to make sense of them but a little later everything fell into place. There was really nothing innovative about the story as we've seen many popular & successful movies like this before. Also choosing Alexandra Daddario to play Rachel was a huge mistake, it's just too soon for her to play such role.

David Raymond seemed to pay more attention on casting than the screenplay & this eventuated this fiasco. He was trying to show the close relationship between Marshall & her daughter in couple of scenes & the way Marshall feels really bad about the victims of harassment among young girls. But still he wasn't successful in it.

Better watch it on the playback speed x1.5 , you won't miss anything!
17 September 2019
I was looking through the list of Top Sci-fi movies and this movie was on that list. I was looking forward to watch a 70s movie about space but I gotta say that I was really disappointed and it was a real bummer.

The story is about some spacemen who live in a spaceship orbiting around the Saturn. It seems that no plants can grow on earth anymore and the government is forced to make plants in an spacecraft. The story doesn't give us more information and one of the biggest questions is that why it should orbit around the Saturn, there are no explanation for that and neither for the other questions.

In the first scenes of the movie, characters are briefly introduced to us but after a while it turns into a story of a villain man and some gaudy drones which are incontrovertibly boring. The actors play the roles really awful and every behavior seems so absurd. The writing was not really interesting at all and I don't think it was worth the time.

It seems to me that the main reason for making such movie was to show off their flamboyant drones while the story remains tedious.

Vengeance is always sweet!
5 September 2019
Another John Wick movie may seem like inordinate sets of gun fighting but no one can demur to the fact that everyone did an excellent job on this & each scene brings excitement one after another.

John Wick, a perspicacious hitman who wants to be retired forever, faces an Italian guy & he's forced to do him a favor. In the previous chapter we also saw that he's made quite a name for himself, not only across the city but also internationally.

One thing that interested me the most, was "the rule". They can be struggling to kill each other in one moment & in the other moment they're sitting next to each other drinking.

Another interesting thing in my opinion was that in one scene an enemy accepts the decadence without any supplications, it kinda shows how prestigious John Wick is & there's no denying in that.

Keanu Reeves is incontrovertibly great as always. The music is also so good & it's really suitable. In overall, I really enjoyed watching it.

An obsolescent story only with big names!
24 August 2019
While looking at the cast, I started to think about the fact that there's only two possibilities for this movie: a great movie in which eminent actors play off each other or just an average story that is appealing because of those big names.

The story wasn't really interesting & in the first fifteen minutes of the movie, you can see popular faces like Lisa Kudrow, Bob Odenkirk. You may get disappointed when you get to realize that you can see these guys only in couple of scenes & then they're gone.

The story is about a guy called Fred (Seth Rogen) stumbling across his teenage-hood crush Charlotte (Charlize Theron) who is a secretary of state. They fall in love as the story goes on, you know how these kinds of movies are.

Charlotte wants to become the president of United States & she has a team to help her. The team finds out about her & Fred fooling around & they try to convince Charlotte how incongruous the relationship is.

Personally I got bored during the movie & the story wasn't really as interesting as it should be. To be more accurate, the storyline wasn't able to bring the story to life.

A peaceful & enjoyable storyline!
23 August 2019
The movie starts with some scenes showing us the boring life of an old man. Ed (John Lithgow) is one of those old men in his wrong side of his 60s as he claims it who are proud of themselves for knowing how to use the technology & internet. He lives alone & he watches tv news everyday for a particular reason which we'll understand later in the movie. In the intro we see Ed talking on the phone with his son Brian (Derek Cecil) & complaining to him about how he always wastes his time & that he should be prepared for the unknown future.

As the story goes on he starts to like an old lady. He finds a way to make her notice him & he's as clingy as a teenager in his way. Ronnie (Blythe Danner) had a hard time in which she had lost her young daughter because of a rare disease & also her husband died of a cancer. They start liking & trusting each other & they both have a secret which later they reveal those to each other.

Ed is a man in control of everything & he knows what to do next but as the relationship progresses, he begins to feel the vicissitudes. Noble Jones did an impeccable job in writing & the screenplay seems so interesting. I highly recommend this movie if you wanna see a peaceful movie.
